considering the exhaustion of filling in all them forms and the length of wait times I’d absolutely try to! Everyone was very shocked at my length of award for my first claim. My parents had to go to tribunal for my brothers DLA and he was awarded untill he’d had to move over to PIP.

I am the same, especially seeing people already being awarded for similar scan dates and even after, it’s making me worry it’s going to be refused but I’m not going to loose hope, he has multiple diagnosis and very limited mobility due to CP.. good luck to you, I hope you get your decision soon x

Yeah I know it’s crazy, so detailed and yet another 2 year award, I get if it was just adhd, but the fact he now has a diagnosis of autism things are not going to change, my experience it’s got a lot harder for him and me to be fair x

@megan345 I did phone in May and he said at least 25 weeks and to phone back at end of May. I haven’t phoned again have you?

Called up for an update on my MR21/11 been told they working on that date but can still take a week or two. I was told this by a case manager

I rang today too, also November, he said it’s with a desicion maker but that was about it! It’s driving me and now 🥲

I really hope so the wait has been exhausting I will update you all in regards to the phone call so others are prepared incase they have one . Nervous what they are going to ask

Long wait ahead I’m 8/4 COC but called to change bank details and check evidence was received and she said COC are taking 27 weeks, 19 weeks left to go for me 😵‍💫

i phoned yesterday and they said because its after 25 weeks they’ll push it through as priority into the urgent claims pile and to call back friday xx

If I was you I would make some notes of things you would like to mention to the decision maker about your child so that when the call comes your mind doesn’t go blank

That's a really good idea thankyou going to do so now. They said they will call between 1-6 just hope it's not school run time and I bloody miss it. X

they need to see my sons updated certificate of visual impairment to make the decision! Quite annoyed as when I rang up last month they told me I don’t need to send it 🤦🏼‍♀️
now I’ve got to get that sent off today via special delivery so she gets it tomorrow 🤞
This was the only thing she needed to ask me about my son, keeping my fingers crossed for positive news!

Just thought I'd update, called to check extra evidence had arrived and was told a decision was made yesterday morning, lady wouldn't tell me over the phone, called back on option 4 and my little boy has been awarded mrc and lrm until 2027! Absolutely over the moon! Sd 13.02 xx
