im not calling anymore and took a weekend break from the forums because the anxiety was getting a bit much. I don’t mind waiting so much it’s more the thought of being declined after all the build up that gets to me and last week seeing all the Feb dates coming through was a killer.

good luck everyone still waiting and the best advice I can give is try and call as little as possible as it really is pointless and if you are getting stressed take a little break from the threads xx

I hope they catch up with the mr soon, seems so unfair to have to wait longer than the new claims, would be nice if it was all in order xx

I just called and my sons claim run out yesterday and a decision has still not been made 😟😟😟😟 I gave lots of notice what’s going on feeling defeated. ☹️ he deserves it x

people having been waiting 25-28 weeks!

What did they say when you called?

Did they give you a reason/explanation as to why they've allowed it to run out and not checked it beforehand? Also what's the next step you have to take?

MR 20/11 27weeks 5 days! Rang this morning and is with a decision maker! She said it could still take up to 2 weeks 😩

There should be a online portal where you can check the status of your application once it’s been scanned in, I think it would definitely help everyone’s anxiety

Omg! Thats a pisstake! This is what I ment by moving the goal post each time from 25 weeks to 30!!!

I went through to this other line as claim has run out, apparently a renewal decision maker is looking at it and is aware it has run out and I just have to wait!! Who knows I don’t get it!!!

Hopefully will get a decision by the end of the day 🤞🏼

There’s people on here been awarded at 14 15 & 16 weeks

And there is me my award has ended and still no decision 😂😂😂. I have my other sons to do but I’m not rushing it this time round it makes no difference what so ever

When I was around 20weeks in, people were awarded around the 25week mark. Since then it’s gradually been getting longer and longer! On the last thread someone waited 31weeks for a MR decision! If they’re so behind why are we not all sharing the same decision makers! NC are hearing much quicker and COC are even longer than MRs, it’s crazy how they’re doing it!

to a case manager she said due to high demand it’s taking 25 weeks
she said it’s unlikely people being awarded from this month
