just answered and said can’t see her birth certificate on system yet . To call back this afternoon . If on system ask them to email case handler an prompt them to look at it

@Kelz23 no I was told just send it back in envelope what was provided . Was I meant too ?

I send everything recorded/special has they can’t say they haven’t got then has you have proof of postage x

Just rang on hold 37 minutes nice lady said she has never known coc and renewals to take this long try again next week so will be 28 weeks ...

It’s confused me due to I had a convo with DM he was explaining IF my claim went ahead that she would not be entitled to mobility due to ages . So IF my claim went ahead if I disputed it that would be the answer . Said decision by end of day .
Rang following day to be told they wanted her birth certificate?

I had to send my son’s birth certificate when they received my form back in Jan but I’ve had mine back. I did send recorded delivery mind so they couldn’t say they never received it xx

@TashaxJ its confused me due to it after spoken to Dm . Does that mean she been successful and they just need this . Or do they need it just close the case ?

Currently at 24 weeks (25 on Tuesday).

Just called to add some new information. Was told it’s not yet with a DM and they are taking the 25 weeks. She was really nice and helpful but said they are asking people not to call back as they will inform us of the claim outcome. Definitely will not be holding my breath for an outcome by next week though!

Positive news NC scan date 31/1 back payment recieves today I think MRC and LRM as its the same as her twin gets so relieved. Also I rang last week said 25w not with DM so that's how fast it can change

I have been following this thread and here is our little update.

The forms received on 19th Feb 2025. I have no idea how you find out the scan date but I know the forms arrived on that date. So we are over 14ish weeks.

My child only had a draft EHCP at the time, we have since been issued with the final plan. I telephoned this morning to ask if it was too late/worth sending through the final plan as we are over the 14 weeks. The call handler said yes worth sending in as the claim was still in the queue and hadn't even been allocated to anyone yet. I did briefly get my hopes up as the call handler asked for my bank details but this must have just been part of an ID check - that was short lived once told we are no where near.

We certainly won't be a February date appearing anytime soon. Such a weird system.

I just called to give some new information a lovely lady on the phone advised me we had been awarded and payment sent out yesterday, she even told us the award details without me asking, she was very nice and helpful. 2 weeks ago I was advised it would be August we would hear anything.
I hope everyone hears some postive news soon.
Just wanted to pop this on here as I'd been quitely following this thread for a few days and it seems things may be speeding up with claims.

MR at 26 weeks today. Called and still not with DM - apparently another 2 weeks wait.

Do you get backdated to the scan date or to when you called for the forms xx

Seems things are moving quite quickly, I hope everyone waiting jan and Feb get there's by next week the latest.

I'm still just 8 weeks since scan date. But called for forms on Feb, so will be backdated til then.

I’m 02/12 and I got told I’d have a decision the Tuesday just gone I rang to get it escalated they told me there on dates 15/12 and still another 2-3 weeks plus 😩! x
