Please feel free to add your scan date and whether it's a new claim/mandatory reconsideration/change of circumstances or renewal.
New claims (NC) - people are being told the wait time has increased to 25 weeks! I would say most are done before this though around the 20 week mark?
Mandatory reconsideration (MC) and Change of circumstances (COC) is around 20-25 weeks.
Renewals tend to be between 15-20 weeks.
If you disagree with the outcome of an MR you can appeal and go to court (tribunal)
Scan date is the date DLA scan your application forms on to their system, if you downloaded your application forms then this will be from when your award will be backdated from. If you called up for forms then the date on those is the date yours will be backdated from.
If successful and claiming universal credit (UC) please update them as this will entitle you to disabled child element adding extra to your award.

Does anyone know if early help meeting minutes are accepted as extra evidence?

That’s incorrect. You can submit evidence up until the tribunal hearing.

Woke up this morning to back pay in the bank. Works out mr care and lr mobility.
19 weeks 2 days wait. NC SD 24/09. So so happy for my son after years of rejection and closed doors. He’s finally been accepted.

I also received back payment from Sept today

great to hear of more awards in September. I would assume the wrap up September now. Is anyone still waiting with sept sd?

Is it with dm yet? My MR 20/08 was decided last Tuesday. I think Friday they were on 30/08 for MR

@zoeybrooks45 I've only called once, last week and was told to basically go away it's a 25 week wait and to not call again 😂🫣 if they need anything they will ring me I darent ring again now x

Sep 12th and not heard anything yet, feel I may be going slightly insane

@zoeybrooks45 I thought you could only send new supporting evidence to back up what's already been written in your original claim and MR?
Did you have diagnosis for the MR and was asking them to award HRM under smi?
If not i was under the impression you can't send it to tribunal, as you are disputing the decision dla made on the evidence and facts and what was written on MR
Would a diagnosis and an award for HRC not be a COC?

Our NC S/D is 02/10 too. Have you had an update yet please? I rang 2 days ago and she said only 18 weeks. Should receive a letter in the next few weeks 🙈 The wait is driving me crazy now we are so close.

I'm 3rd September MR but I believe they are taking longer. The wait is horrific 😢

I’m the 4th of September for MR, my sisters is the 30th of august and she was told yesterday it’s with a DM now, hopefully not much longer for September dates 🤞🏻

We can only hope. It's so much worse the closer you get. Literally feeling like it's all I think about. Just want to know either way now xx

I’m not holding out much hope, unfortunately, but will take it all the way. Ours is for HRM. SMI or VUW. The reasons I’ve seen for saying no are disgusting, I’ve sent everything I can and know the school will back me but as you said just want to know now! Good luck with yours x

Mines exactly the same. I will take it to tribunal if I have to but hopefully we will both get the decision our children deserve. Good luck too xx

NC 27/09, seen dates after me awarded but also dates before still waiting. Its driving me fully insane.

I had my shit together up to the 15 week mark but ran out of patience now. The idea it could be a decline after all this time is the worst

hi I’m 20th of August for mr and its been with a case manager for almost 2 weeks now. She is contacting everyone involved with my son
