Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court

scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision

original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update (0800) 121-4600

currently we are beginning of July and some last June dates! xx

Same situation as me im the 4th july tho , i was told today shpuld have a decision by the morning have u called today??

yeah I rang yesterday the guy on the phone said he was speaking to his team leader as I’ve waited over 20 week and when I rang This morning all they could tell me was they can see an email has been sent to a case manager to look at my claim so I don’t know how long I’ll be waiting.

I would have thought today at some point then given your over tue time frame , bless you fingers crossed for the both of us ! How many people actually get texts? Iv requested i be text when its made but im not sure if they actually send one ? Its so fustraring , hoping your child gets the award he or she deserves hun fingers crossed for good news today for u!

A bit of good news, I phoned and said about my original submission date being 06/08 and they told me it doesn’t mean my application is at the back of the queue if my handwritten application was received on the 4/10 and my application is moving quickly as he said if I have any other evidence I have to send it in quickly. Surely he wouldn’t say that it was at the back of the queue? He said it’s in the queue for the case manager but I feel like they always say that

Full 20 weeks today 😞. No decision yet. I have send school sence and referral form. Gp referral for champs and sporcu therapy assessment report. So scared for the outcome. My son was like that since he born but I am claiming it now after 10 years. Hope my son get it. Pray for my boy.

Im the 4th july coc , called today said should hear by morning and if not to call them , f8ngers crossed we both hear today!

Hi all, not been on here for a little while. SD 05/03 son was awarded LRC & LRM 26/06, started an MR on this day too as he meets the criteria for a higher award on the care element, just rang today 21 weeks into the MR and it’s with a case worker and has been for around a week, just an update on times if anyone else is in the same or similar position as we are! Fingers crossed not too much longer! X

Phoned yet again and still no decision. SD 12/07. He said worst case scenario next Friday at 20 weeks. It seems so far off given what we're going through. A day seems like a week 😢 He said I'll get a random text at some point, but I've heard loads who have requested texts not actually receive them.

Same as me, scan date 3/7? Is yours a new claim? Fingers crossed we hear today

Still alot of people waiting with scan dates before 12th. I’ve only rang up once and I’m 12.07. Just gonna wait for either a back payment or a decline letter. Seen people 3/7 still waiting. X

Long time lurker here. I have a S/D of 14/07 and have been told today it's with the decision maker now. Just letting people know who are waiting around that date.
