Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court

scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision

original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update (0800) 121-4600

currently we are beginning of July and some last June dates! xx

@ThisNoisyTurtle I just called and still no decision and the usual "call back on the 25th"... I'll be calling on Thursday 🙈 I'd be calling every day but I'm in the office tomorrow and Wednesday so won't have chance.

😩Hopefully we both would have heard something by Thursday

Scan date 4 july still no news so fustrating

I only asked about evidence as I sent it free post then asked what dates they are now on as I don’t want it to be missed no danger with it only being 24th June but it was 21st June on Friday the man said so they have made progress and he thinks around 6 weeks for a decision which takes us to the end of December rather than the original deadline of end of January!

Has anyine got the same scan date as me ? 4th july ? Change of cercimstances ? And heard anything yet??

So hopefully before the new year. Praying for us!

Did a COC 26th June, Finally got my decision today and told got told to wait for a letter ahhhhh 😫

I’m going to try again this afternoon and they said they were waiting for a update on the system so fingers crossed someone else can tell me later 🙏x

Hello, does anyone know roughly how long it takes to get the letter that confirms they scanned your claim on to the system? I sent it off on 4th Nov free post and haven’t had a letter yet. Thanks x

I know that feeling. I was like that from about 17 weeks. Almost at 22 now! No not yet 😫 x

Long time lurker, really hoping those of you who’ve been waiting 20 weeks plus get some answers this week.

Finding myself increasingly anxious as 20 weeks gets closer, 18+3 and 18 weeks for my boys today and could really do with some news soon as I’ve been off work for 6 months caring for them and the £15 I just spent on toothpaste in the hopes they will actually brush their teeth really hurt 🤣 I know it’s trivial but it’s just another of those things people don’t realise is an issue for some of our children that costs extra money :(

Decision made on Friday. Just waiting to see what it is. On hold for correct department x
