Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court

scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision

original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update (0800) 121-4600

currently we are beginning of July and some last June dates! xx

Nooo 😭 I wish they knew the stress and anxiety it causes us.

I've seen 1/2 on Facebook but was barely any yesterday either! Been a slow couple of days by the looks of things🙄

No. I called back and asked and it was like, tough, wait til Monday x

No update on ours not that I was expecting there to be this early. Received my sons amended EHCP, will send that off to them. Hope we see some awards today!

Just seen someone’s MR from the 3rd of July is being looked at🤞🏽 getting there slowly

Dates I've seen today. 5/7, 5/7, 8/7, 27/6, 7/7, 3/7 x

I called she laughed when I said I know am being a pain and not 20 weeks yet. She said not to worry as some people call after a week and then get angry. So I felt a bit better knowing we've all waited that long. But as always no decision made yet 🫠🙃

I feel like with my luck we will receive a refusal on Christmas eve and I'll be putting in an MR on the 27th 🤣🤣

Am I being unrealistically positive in thinking that they only wrote to the school to back up what I said. And now they have, I’ll get awarded? 🤣 x

Oh that gives me hope. Hopefully they go through July fast! Decision maker yesterday said they were working on 20th June scan dates

😂 Christmas Eve was our original decision date when MRs were taking 11 weeks. Imagine!

No you have a good point. They wouldn’t want the extra information if they weren’t leaning towards awarding.

Called today, just gone to DM no update

Some just said forms recieved, I didn't list the ones that said renewal, Mr or coc x

Monday if your DM isn’t back, I would ask for another. Far from overtime it’s days off. Obviously they are allowed to take them but I believe your decision would’ve been today had it not been for that

ive seen a lot of June just none for early July yet, this was the first one. So I’m hoping my sons mr is with that decision maker if they are on July😂

Another had a decision for the 12th of July on Wednesday

I feel it really is pot luck with who you get as a decision maker. Some seem to be working a lot faster than others

That would be great. Also means we will get to August at some point. Honestly I just want to know if we are going to tribunal with it or not. If they’ve started on July they’ve made good headway going by what DM said just yesterday
