I’ve heard on here that the first person you speak to is 9/10 an agency worker and don’t give you much detail but if they transfer you then you might get more info? Good luck lovely x

@Asdmamalou i rang back again and tried my luck and the second person I spoke to said I’ve been awarded MRC! Definitely worth calling and trying your luck with who you speak to! X

Does anyone know how long a MR takes once with a DM? I’ve sent extra evidence which is with the DM (we had a decision on 25th June for a new claim)

They may do, I’t depends what you want verifying. They didn’t tell me the elements had been added and it’s taken 7 weeks for them to say they will give me the back payment but still no time scale on when

I’ve just got off the phone to UC after asking why hasn’t a manager contacted me after the man speaking to me rudely yesterday because my autistic son was having a meltdown in the back ground, I spoke to a woman and said that I don’t want him to be my case manager anymore considering I got out of domestic violence last year (I have the proof) and she said “it’s not like your going to meet him face to face is it” am I over reacting over that comment?

It should just come up in your next statement. For the back pay they will notify you eventually

I didn’t know about the elements till I got my next statement. Never even heard of it before. I had about 2 weeks before I knew it was there because of my statement

Hi, I put a note of my journal at 2 today asking for the backdate decision to be chased as it’s been 4 weeks and I’ve just had 2 letters saying they’ve accepted it, so hopefully they will sort out repayment and amend past awards tomorrow 🤞

Not always but my award period ends today so it will be interesting to see if mines been verified in time for Julys award

I got high rate care guys got the letter today 👏🏼 obv the letter has came before the payment just my luck! But the letter said if the money hadnt went in by the 3rd to call so will call tomorrow morning if its not gone in by then so happy with the outcome hes 5 in november so going to do the mobility side of things then so happy! Scan date was 6/3

Can anyone help? So after receiving the uc decision to backdate letters am I supposed to put a note on my journal to anyone else or will it be automatically done for the repayment amount and previous awards being amended?

@Kell85 No i dont think youre overreacting. It’s a very undermining comment over something that clearly triggers you after a traumatic experience. Im sorry that happened to you last year and UC were so insensitive 😞😡

did she help with the backpay atleast? Theres no need for it take this long. Once it’s been verified it’s really very easy for DM to approve. I hope youre okay and you hear something tomorrow ❤️

No she didn’t help, I said that I’m still waiting for someone to comment on my journal and whenever Trevor comments he makes it seem like he is short and annoyed and I don’t feel comfortable talking to him and that’s when she made that comment. It genuinely made me cry, I’m not going to bother contacting them again now. I’m just going to wait and see what happens. I can’t actually bring myself to speak to them again. It’s not like that I’ve never worked as I do work, things that happened last year made me claim UC and I wished I just struggled now. They made me feel so shit and low now and I just don’t care about the money any more, they can keep it for all I care x

They will automatically do it and they should back date same day they send you the letter stating how much back pay they owe you, that's what they did with me ☺️

for those struggling to get a reply on UC log it might be because you don’t have an assigned work coach. I am working and I don’t have a work coach so I had to a few calls in span of a week and a guy called me from no caller ID asking me the dates etc (he sounded like he was working from home) then within an hour I got the letter on journal and backpay next morning. So if you don’t hear please call, wait for the deadline and call agian. They seem to want to make it difficult for us to recieve backpay.
