Could you post if:

A) You have booked and received a confirmation by email.

B) You have sent the form and cheque but have not had confirmation of your booking.

Or

C) Intend to book but have not yet sent the form/cheque.

Moondog has received 12 bookings so far, but I have had 26 forms requested.

If Moondog receives less than 15 bookings the event can't go ahead, so she may have to open it up to people from other places, but ideally we'd like to keep it to MNSN only.

Academics are so much more humble than bloody consultants. They have Decades of expertise but go to great lengths to point out how simple it all can be. The opposite is true of most of the Consultants I have met.

Is that similar to the philosophy behind conductive education, used with CP, etc?

I think so, though don't know much about either. I think it is in it's infancy because it's difficult to get precise readings from children you can't communicate with to gain cooperation or who understandably are adverse to the measuring process.

But some clever student got the kids to lie willingly in brain scanning machines by training them to keep their heads still watching their favourite films on the ceiling. If they moved their heads, - every time they moved their heads their films stopped. They also played games in and around the machines.

I think the theory has been there for a while and research has suggested this happens but I think this piece of research is clearer. Basically exercising the weak parts strengthens them over time.

But I haven't seen the research myself. Hope to.
