Could you post if:

A) You have booked and received a confirmation by email.

B) You have sent the form and cheque but have not had confirmation of your booking.

Or

C) Intend to book but have not yet sent the form/cheque.

Moondog has received 12 bookings so far, but I have had 26 forms requested.

If Moondog receives less than 15 bookings the event can't go ahead, so she may have to open it up to people from other places, but ideally we'd like to keep it to MNSN only.

I'm trying to get an idea of who else wants to come Smile

I'm planning to teach ds this essential life skill, using tags. m.youtube.com/watch?v=cmSbXsFE3l8

StarlightMcKenzie · 25/06/2014 18:04

It will be his OT programme as it crosses the midline. It will also be his music curriculum and his learning break and his domestic science module.....

lougle · 25/06/2014 18:19

You're all so brave -shoe laces, clapping and tapping routines.... My first practice will be 'looks when I call her name" Blush

I'd be cautious with that Lougle. It's obviously something you think she doesn't do and should and danger is that you will make an association with the chicken that is not good. To use the jargon, it may bec

moondog · 25/06/2014 23:07

Become a conditioned punisher. Use it first to capture a behaviour she likes doing. Then the chicken is a conditioned reinforcer. Also remember most people over use a kids name when trying to get them to do domething which is precisely why they won't listen. You are turning babe using into a conditioned punisher. Before you start, get someone to count how many times you use your kids name. You'd bd amazed. We did this once in a classroom and worked out each member of staff used a kids name about 50 times. Four members of staff, six hours a day. We are talking about well over a thousand times a day. And we wonder why kids don't listen?

lougle · 25/06/2014 23:12

Oh I see. Righto, I'll have a rethink.

Gosh, so many potential mistakes to watch out for.

frizzcat · 26/06/2014 13:34

I think I'm all sorted now, I have this ASD thing licked, no charts, no reinforcers, no chickens Sad and no language.

Ds got up the yesterday morning, went into the bathroom, got into the shower, no prompting washed himself and his hair Shock. Brushed his teeth, combed his hair. Got dressed with not one click or prompt or sheet tracking nothing.
He also asked for a fish sandwich. This is unheard of, ds has either cheese or ham. Again no prompt, bribery coercion.

I can sense you all gathering to hear what has caused such wonderful behaviour? Well the answer is the main character in the Lego movie, Emmet follows the instruction manual for everything he does, you can imagine how this would appeal, so he's copying Emmets morning routine.

The fish sandwich, which he ate and enjoyed, was because this Stampylongnose ..... The minecraft fella, said he liked eating fish sandwiches or he made them on mine craft.....

So what I've discovered is that I need to move to Lego land and periodically have stampy round for dinner Grin to be or the safe side am continuing with tracking and reinforcers and clickers

Lougle not quite ready for the FB group for the data tracking, I'll let you know when I'm all set.

moondog · 26/06/2014 16:06

Fabulous.
When kids do something because they want to do it, for whatever reason, you can rejoice and hurl the clickers and charts and graphs into a big pile and set fire to them.

No greater joy.

frizzcat · 26/06/2014 21:35

Grin moondog this will last so long as his interest into Stampy and the Lego movie - so approx 2wks.

So I'm not throwing anything away yet Wink

moondog · 26/06/2014 21:38

Yes, that's the unfortunate truth with reinforcers.
They lose their reinforcing value

frizzcat · 26/06/2014 22:03

And how did you chart that moondog Wink

signandsingcarols · 27/06/2014 07:36

Grin Grin Moondog and frizz you have made me laugh out loud on a crappy Friday, thank you!

Mind you was it only the data that up and down..... Shock Grin

signandsingcarols · 27/06/2014 07:38

smutty inuendos apart we are going to start SAFMEDing ds's time tables on Mon and he is desperate to start Grin we have decided it is called "SUPER-FAST-FRACTION-MINUTE" which must be said in a cod japanese accent, as tho the SAFMED is a transformer advert Grin Grin.

frizzcat · 27/06/2014 10:09

Grin sign hahaha

moondog · 27/06/2014 15:57

From meeting your lovely ds Sign, I reckon he would really be keen on some major SAFMEDS action.
Re Irishman question, the stuff being charted would have been pints drunk, crap talked and Pink Floyd albums listened to in 24 hour period.
There would have been interesting correlations.

lougle · 27/06/2014 17:17

I've spent a couple of hours making SAFMEDS cards with multi-link pictures for DD2. I really want to get her mental addition established and secure, so I'm going to do SAFMEDS with the multi-link she's used to and look into purchasing numicon when my funds are ready.

Nice Lougle.
Those do exactly what Numicon does but added stimulus of shape with Numicon in addition to colour

moondog · 27/06/2014 20:17

Some of my more whizzy colleagues use Mental Case to create virtual SAFMEDS. Might suit you Lougle, seeing as you are whizzy too. :)

lougle · 27/06/2014 20:55

Ooh nice! Thanks for the tip.

I'm enjoying Inkscape - motivating for me that I am learning a new piece of software (I love learning and get itchy feet if I don't exercise my brain). Satisfying that I'm creating resources for my DDs to develop.

I've got over the doom and gloom scaremongering of everyone I meet others' concern about the responsibility of educating DD2, when the truth is she wasn't really thriving where she was, and I'm feeling absolutely empowered that I can help her progress with a bespoke programme targeting her needs right now, while she is completely fresh because she's not so exhausted from trying to cope at home.

Handywoman · 30/06/2014 20:58
