Just want to say, since I discovered this board in August last year, it helped me enormously! I have name changed several times since to reflect different stages in our situation, so you probably won't recognise me. However, it is so reassuring to be able to chat to people in similar situations. I really would not have the understanding I do, without you guys. Ds is doing well and I have to say much of it is down the confidence and advice this board has given me.

One of the first things I read on here was how you are your child's best advocate. Its really given me the confidence to battle with the many people and situations in our life to get te best for DS.

So, in short, thank you and please keep replying to the many posts on this board, as it means the world to the posters looking for help, advice and sometimes just somewhere to vent.

I love the character of this board, I've never encountered anything but great advice and support. Hope I have been able to offer the same in return. Thanks

Yes, I have had a glass of wine, but wanted to thank you all.

I love this board too!

No time to start imagining what everyone looks like but the ones I have met in rl have been lovely!

Would love to hear how people imagine I look like, lol!

TheLightPassenger · 06/02/2012 13:58

Ooh think I quite enjoy being an alien. Sadly I am far more chaotic in appearance - short, fat (ressemble a pregnant weeble, 75% of my excess weight seems to lie on my stomach GRR, I am NOT pg), with long dark frizzy hair. And defo not direct gaze - I struggle with eye contact (apple/tree/fall not far from etc)

TheLightPassenger · 06/02/2012 13:59

blueshark - I imagine you as being tall, blonde and sporty looking, jeans/gilet wearer.

StarlightMcKenzie · 06/02/2012 14:04

Blueshark is definitely always in trendy jeans!

StarlightMcKenzie · 06/02/2012 14:05

Class trendy, not Chav trendy.

Lol! Thx for cheering me up :)

I was def in trendy jeans before this last pregnancy, now I can only pull them up to my knees...which reminds me look at the weaning thread, get DD off breast milk and start that diet soon!

Ben10HasFinallyLeftTheBuilding · 06/02/2012 17:58

Ooh, I got a mention in your huge thread Grin

Ben10 has mostly gone :)

I look like the rest of the posters on the "I think I have Aspergers" thread. Short hair, jeans, t-shirt and trainers. Often a fleece Think I need a personal shopper.

Missbabyheaversham · 06/02/2012 18:12

Evening all.

I may change my name to "Ihatesoddingdragons" or "DragonsCanFuckRightOff". DS's obsession continues, but now someone bought him the DVD which has the extra Guide to Dragons on it. I hate them.

Missbabyheaversham · 06/02/2012 18:13

If we're doing a "what do you look like" thing. Picture someone young, slim and unhaggared.

Now reverse it.

Thats me!

signandsmile · 06/02/2012 19:40

Grin LoL, am enjoying this thread, anyone wanna have a go at doing me? (I know I gave a brief description, but wondered if that was the way I seemed on line? )

am fascinated. PS saw unpa1d on the telly and she didn't look at all how I expected... (fab, but different, IYSWIM... Grin)

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 06/02/2012 20:05

Ben10, I was more thinking that you couldn't name change or we wouldn't know who you are, even though the Ben10 obsession is a dim and distant memory. Grin

Signandsmile, you have a dark bob with a very expressive face and repetitive strain injury due to constant signing. Your love for your DS shines through all your posts.

Babyheave, is there a Dickens theme ATM? You are as young and slim as I am tall and willowy!

StarlightDicKenzie · 06/02/2012 20:08

sign, you definately have a dark short straight bob and are smiling whilst signing OK with both hands! You have a few wrinkles but they are the attractive cute kind rather than the old kind!

StarlightDicKenzie · 06/02/2012 20:12

Yes, there's a Dickenson competition.

Ellen If I were you I would change my name to EyreJaneIsNotMyName just to piss everyone off Grin. You'll make a lot of friends.

WilsonFrickett · 06/02/2012 20:17

Oooh yes, sign has very shiny dark hair. For sure.

Ben10 I always see as being very sharply tailored, for some reason.

Ben10HasFinallyLeftTheBuilding · 06/02/2012 20:30

ellen I can't see that I could change my name. I kind of like it - reminds me of a long held obsession :)

WilsonFrickett That's how I'd like to look when I'm at work. Occasionally I managed it. Most of the time I looked like I just wasn't quite as smart as the rest. I can only do A-line. I'm never going to do a pencil skirt with these hips, no matter how successful I am on Weight Watchers. I do have big shoulders though and am tallish so do a good jacket - although the arms are always a little short Grin

I think sign is blond with a bob

Ben10HasFinallyLeftTheBuilding · 06/02/2012 20:37

I have put a picture on my profile :)

EstellaJaneisnotmyname · 06/02/2012 20:54

You look nothing like I imagined, Ben10! Lovely photo.

coff33pot · 06/02/2012 21:20

Lovely photo Ben10! nothing like I imagined you at all. More like a harrassed woman with wild hair forever crawling around peeling Ben10 stickers off the floor TV, walls etc whilst getting roared at by a mini humongasaur .......oh that meeee Grin

coff33pot · 06/02/2012 21:21

signandsmile I picture you fair haired not blond with a baseball cap on staring at an LA building whilst sticking two fingers up but smiling sweetly at the same time Grin

signandsmile · 07/02/2012 07:11

I love it!!! (by the way def dark haired, and as of last week I am bobbed, but wildly curly... I always say I have 'willful' hair, as long as I let it be curly it behaves.... Grin)

coff I will hold the picture of me sticking two fingers up to the LA, but disguising it by smiling sweetly for a long time, Grin Grin Suits me just fine!

( and ellen thank you!)

Ben10HasFinallyLeftTheBuilding · 07/02/2012 07:22

coff Well I wasn't going to pick those sort of pictures was I?! Me on his bedroom floor surrounded by toys/clothes/wet bedclothes in my PJ bottoms without my hair washed hollering about the state of the room and then doing it myself. That is my normal image Grin
