Just want to say, since I discovered this board in August last year, it helped me enormously! I have name changed several times since to reflect different stages in our situation, so you probably won't recognise me. However, it is so reassuring to be able to chat to people in similar situations. I really would not have the understanding I do, without you guys. Ds is doing well and I have to say much of it is down the confidence and advice this board has given me.

One of the first things I read on here was how you are your child's best advocate. Its really given me the confidence to battle with the many people and situations in our life to get te best for DS.

So, in short, thank you and please keep replying to the many posts on this board, as it means the world to the posters looking for help, advice and sometimes just somewhere to vent.

I love the character of this board, I've never encountered anything but great advice and support. Hope I have been able to offer the same in return. Thanks

Yes, I have had a glass of wine, but wanted to thank you all.

I must admit I got very pissed off and name-changed in a huff there.Grin
Feeling more responsible and adult now.

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 05/02/2012 14:45

snap ellen, that and the link and then I was pretty sure Grin

don't blame you for name changing, things went pretty odd for a while!

auntevil · 05/02/2012 14:53

Can confirm the accuracy of Ninja's picture - just surprised at the lack of empty gin bottles strewn around Grin

Oblomov · 05/02/2012 14:55

I have been truely supported by this board. I seriously don't know what I would have done without the support, kindness, and straight talking.
Has made me sad to hear of all the problems and nastines and many old-timers leaving. Sure is a shame.

lisad123 · 05/02/2012 14:56

i iwsh people wouldnt name change, we hate change Grin
Girls have been out in the snow. I brought ski trousers a few years back and they have been great as the girls stay warm and dry!

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 05/02/2012 15:18

you know me too well auntevil. How is the deputy head baiting going these days Grin

my lot have decided they're not overly fussed with the snow today so we're all staying warm indoors.

auntevil · 05/02/2012 15:30

Do you think it would be too much to have as much of SENCOP printed onto a T-shirt and wear it to school every day just to remind them? Grin
My DSs not too interested in the snow either - they will be if it gives them a day off school though!

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 05/02/2012 15:49
Grin
StarlightMcKenzie · 05/02/2012 16:06
is who I model myself on! I like to think I am like her.
StarlightMcKenzie · 05/02/2012 16:09

Lol at COP t-shirt!

auntevil · 05/02/2012 16:56

That's a lullabyShock It's enough to give you nightmares. I'd hate to hear her sing about something that made her angry Grin

She's fiercely protecting her innocent child from idiots and evil. And boy does she scream about it Grin

That's exactly how I picture you Star.

Totally lost with the namechanging and can't get any of the clues either - but that is nothing new Grin.

TheLightPassenger · 05/02/2012 19:17

hello (used to be Mummy - to - Steven and then more recently Total - --Chaos). This place was an absolute lifeline to me at the start of the SN years, 99% of the useful info was from here. Glad to see you back again Dust, I have only just twigged who you are.

lisad123 · 05/02/2012 19:23

Can someone please tell me who dust used to be? Nice to see you chaos

StarlightMcKenzie · 05/02/2012 19:50

Thanks trying, apart from looks I'm probably not much like her but I try. I have named all the 'baddies'. The moon is the autism outreach Wink

Lisad PM me if you want.

WilsonFrickett · 05/02/2012 21:07

Sheesh, I pop off for one lousey night away and you all start getting off with each other and deciding I am a yellow-wearing horse whispering man who likes Wine too much. (one of those is true. Clue: am not a man, don't know a fetlock from a forelock and yellow clashes with my teeth...)

ellen I knew you were willowy. Tis a willowy sort of name, Ellen.

I'm short and round, really. Sad Remember, Ellen Jane is not my name! Grin

coff33pot · 05/02/2012 22:58

hahahahaha! I have had one hell of a weekend going to work with the flu and came to read this and been giggling all through it! Grin

Hard to catch up with it all but as for the scary bit DH quite often says to the kids the only thing I am scared of is your mother Grin In truth I am definately scary if someone wants me to make a decision before coffee of a morning then I become a even tempered pussycat.......honest Wink

Ellen is somewhat correct with her version of the cafe and a view of the sea in so much as my chaotic little shop has a great view and I live in the cafe buying latte! So much so I think I have kept the cafe going with the takings!

The Mrs Pepperpot made me giggle! If my hair could go into such a nice bun! unfortunately I have hair that moves when it gets rained on and any bun would erupt with pins flying when it dried Grin

As for MN sat naving star around her camping expeditions it would be fun to meet up if you are ever down here

now let me seeee I am more of a character working out person that what someone looks like........

lisad small soft speaking but a very busy sort of person.

ellen blond with round face and bright smiling eyes.

zzzzz laid back, chilled like a human security blanket and great for group hugs

Star the name makes me think of starlight express which makes me thing of an express train for some reason. Doesnt sit still long, very determined, head always in books or on computer researching so that sometimes she falls asleep on the keyboard. Grin

wilson I too though you were a man for a while then for some reason when you mentioned partner in one of your posts I had a picture of you being a gay man LOL as it still didnt register that you was a woman Blush

dolfrog medium build, short hair, very calm person, unruffled but forthright.

Wet August this is a hard one because it always rains here in august so my mental picture is of a tall slim woman in a summer outfit with a floppy sun hat that has flopped down round her ears due to the rain Grin

lisad123 · 05/02/2012 23:16

You have the small am busy but not softly spoken, am very polite though Blush
