yumm chinese sounds good @RaiderOfTheKitchenCupboard

I'm not having the best day, I've never lived alone before and thought I would love it but I feel so sad and lonely today Sad so can't really be bothered to eat, have spent the day moping around having the odd cry about literally nothing other than my sad little life. Hopefully feel better tomorrow as it's a working day and have my meal plan all set for the week! I'm sure I'll get used to it but for now I hate it after living back with my parents (and dogs, I really miss the dogs) for so long.

So far all I've had is cereal and a cup of tea, maybe will treat myself to a takeaway for tea.

B weetabix and strawberries
L chorizo and broccoli gnocchi
D beef and halloumi meatballs with gnocchi

Heavy on the gnocchi since they needed using up! All recipes are from Two Chubby Cooks cookbooks

MadeOfStarStuff · 04/07/2021 18:32

@JingleAndTonic sorry to hear you’re struggling Flowers

I usually love living alone but at points in the last fifteen months it was so lonely and miserable. Agree it’s hard to motivate yourself to cook and then clean up when it’s just you.

Do you work from home or will you be going out to work? I find it so much easier now I’m working from the office again and seeing humans.

Is getting your own dog at some point an option? They’re so lovely, I really miss coming home to a dog

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/07/2021 22:05

Supposed to be at WI tonight but had such a busy day of work and training so I’m giving it a miss. Will stay on plan and go next week. Today’s meals:
B - banana
L - jacket potato with tuna Mayo (2) and salad plus 2 babybels (A)
D - chicken and veg stir fry with noodles (3)
S - ice lolly (2), cashew nuts (B), skinny bar (3)

JingleAndTonic · 05/07/2021 20:01

thank you for the nice replies, i feel a bit daft struggling so much after just a week! i've come back to DMs for the night for a bit of company and think i'm getting to take my dogs back with me tomorrow which will be really nice!

L - tomato soup and a cheese sandwich (HEA, HEB)

T - halloumi, pineapple and nandos sauce in a pitta (forgot i'd already had HEB tbh, so HEA and 6.5 syns) with nandos salted chips and mayo (1/2)

JingleAndTonic · 05/07/2021 20:01

I say my dogs they aren't really mine but they are too lol

JingleAndTonic · 06/07/2021 10:15

Feeling much more myself today after some company last night and have made some nice weekend plans! Need to focus on my eating now so I feel my best Grin

L - tomato soup and cheese on toast (HEA, HEB)

T - chilli, rice, ff yog, cheese (HEA) and a few doritos (4 syns)

S - white choc light and free yog (1/2 syn) with strawberries

not sure what's happened to our weather in Scotland but it's bloody freezing like we've been flung into autumn, don't think that's helped my mood tbh, but it calls for cosy comfort food!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/07/2021 15:26

We have rain. Sent mr blondes to pick up toddler blondes

B toast b butter 3 marmite fruit

L chick salad Mayo 1

T not sure. Possibly seal Bol with added veg

S crisps 3,5 bar 4,5

JingleAndTonic · 07/07/2021 11:21

we have sun now but forecast thunderstorms later, scottish weather just keeps on giving!

L - tomato soup (again) and some toast (HEB, 1.5 syns butter)

T - carbonara (HEA) with a slice of garlic bread (5 syns)

S - strawberries and a light yog (1/2 syn)

using my other HEA for milk in cups of tea because despite the sun my house is freezing and the warmth is needed!

JingleAndTonic · 08/07/2021 11:44

Morning!

My day changed yesterday as the hot water packed in so had an engineer here for hours and didn't manage to have lunch at lunchtime so scrapped the soup and sandwich and had some toast mid afternoon.

L - egg mayo roll (1 syn and HEB)

T - quorn nuggets (4 syns for 4 I believe?) with fried rice (1 syn sesame oil) and mayflower curry sauce (4 syns, I'm not going by the new nonsense of it being 6 syns!)

S - already had a mint aero (7 syns) with a coffee oops! and will have fruit later

so 17 syns before weigh day maybe isn't my finest effort but hopefully will have shifted a little bit of that big gain tomorrow

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/07/2021 12:25

Sure it will be fine @JingleAndTonic

15 is the average

B banana

L cereal b milk a fruit

OP posts:
JingleAndTonic · 12/07/2021 10:21

sorry for silence, I lost 1/4lb which while it's a loss is a bit disheartening after being so good last week! never mind, think i'm going to start taking measurements again as i've been getting back into exercise and i wonder if that's maybe holding my weight up as my legs feel a bit more muscly Grin clutching at straws there!

annoying about the gain @Blondeshavemorefun but i'm sure you'll have that off this week

B - a big coffee (part HEA)

L - wholemeal muffin (HEB) with two richmond meat free sausages (3, never tried them before hope they're nice) a fried egg and tomato sauce (1/2 syn)

T - leftover two ingredient pizza base (8 syns) made into a hawaiian pizza (HEA), with a few SW chips

gained 2lbs this week 🙃 it's that time of the month and i've eaten far too much chocolate and had a midweek chippy tea so it could be worse but i'm annoyed at myself that i just can't seem to get my head in the game!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/07/2021 17:21

blondes that's far too exciting to focus on sw!! soon you'll be married blondes 👰🏼‍♀️

took my measurements and was the same as last week so that's something, just need to really try and focus and stay away from the booze but it was 28 degrees here today, unheard of for our north coast scottish climate, and a nice cold cider was the only thing which helped Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/07/2021 07:54

JingleAndTonic · 23/07/2021 09:13

I did step on the scales, 3lbs off! Must be the swimming and spin classes

L - low fat super noodles (2) with toast (heb)
