Starting the 2019 support thread for those on SW or those thinking of starting.

Let's introduce ourselves. I'm Groovee. In 2016 I was told to lose weight so I could have Gynae surgery. I joined SW in Jan 2017. Have lost 4.5st on SW 5.5st since 2016. Have been at target for 9 months now. Long may it continue being at target and staying there.

Have my new members pack and look forward to the challenges of 2019. I need to look for some new recipes.

2lb off for me today Smile
Nearly taken off all that Ive put on since last year. ( Just a couple of pounds to go ) Will try to maintain at that .I need to tone

Total baby brain yesterday - it's actually 2 stone 2 lbs to my lightest!

Hazelnut I'm dreading my periods coming back...the amount of chocolate I can consume when I first come on is ridiculous, and that's on top of the water weight gain! Some months I'd gain 3 lbs that week.

@em it’s incredible isn’t it, it was a feral urge yesterday!

Just done a half hour HIIT class which I hope will give me a similar endorphins rush today without the syns!

I'm so glad I no longer have shark week. I only had them once a year, but the run up was horrendous. I could have eaten my weight in chocolate and stodge.

Made ramen for tea tonight, was ok. There is loads of bean sprouts under the noodles, and couldn't find any mange tout. Three shops I went in, including M&S!

I went off plan yesterday for no real reason, determined to have a good weekend! Raisin wheats and milk for breakfast with coffee. I’ll make some soup for the week’s lunches and a bolognese sauce for a midweek dinner. I also have some campfire stew to freeze from last night.

This wind is really stressing me out though (and I don’t mean the effects of the campfire stew...).Sad

lost 1lb this week. Not sure if it will stay off this time or come back on, especially as I have a party and a weekend away this week! Will try to fit in some exercise classes and extra walking.

I'm having a lazy week. School holidays. Have really needed a week off. I find January really hard with my fibromyalgia. Got my niece's wedding this week too.

I think its really cold at the moment, makes me want warm drinks and choccy and lazing in bed in my fluffy pyjamas .These last 2 days have been off plan. Blush

Had a crappish weekend food wise, back on track today though. Paid for it gallbladder pain wise, so that'll teach me. Have my pre op for that today, hopefully it'll be out soon.

Well my weekend was off plan Angry and I seem to have put on a pound - I will try and pull it back a bit for Wednesday weigh in. Today I’m at home with DD so I will try and cook some soup for the week’s lunches, a meatball sauce I can freeze for midweek, and prawn and saffron risotto tonight.

What’s everyone else having? Smile

Am still in bed instead of my usual 8.30 start. Going to have porridge, salad for lunch and mustard pork for tea.

Having a lazy day otherwise.

My food today is porridge and fruit, pasta salad with feta, and veggie omelette and chips. Also used 3.5 syns for half a nkd bar before my gym class.

Hi all. Weigh day tomorrow. Got on my own scales showed 1lb loss, got on a hour later showed 2lb loss. I'm hoping it's 2 tomorrow. I've walked loads today I've done just over 7 miles and same at the weekend (I'd normally just do house and laze about). I'd be annoyed at 1lb just because I've been 100% And increased my steps to double what I'd normally do. We shall see tomorrow!

3lb off!! So happy with that! Finally in a new stone bracket too. Totallyblost 2st 10lb since novemver. 1 stone and 5lb away from Target now. I've done lots of walking lately I think that has massivly helped.

Feel like I've plodded along this week, it's not been the best. Expecting a gain at WI on Thursday.

Cousins funeral tomorrow, need to avoid the buffet afterwards.

Gained a pound - not happy
I was away for 3 days last week and ate healthy in room eg prawn salad
Walked miles
More alcohol than usual but they were my only syns
