Hello!
Come and join us on this if you have a lot to lose.
I started SW at 24 stone 11lbs and in 14 weeks I have lost 2 stone 5.5lbs.
I am super proud of myself but I have 11 stone 13 pounds to go.
We can do this!
Share what you want..If you need a little bit of motivation or just want to have a good cry.

Anything that's full of noisy kids on a rainy day is hell quite frankly!

Another 0.5kg off this week. Trousers still ain't co-operating though. Balls.

This week's recipe is a fake muller rice.

Take one mullerlight of choice. Add 3 tablespoons cooked brown rice and stir well. Brown rice keeps it's shape better and doesn't go all mushy.

Hi everyone, can I join you all please, started SlimmingWorld November last year and have just got my 3 stone award ( took me a long time to get there) was stuck between the 2 and 3 stone for months) I've started having a Slimfast in daytime and that seems to have kick started the weight loss again (thank god) was getting so fed up of not losing, started at 18st9lb and now 15st7lb so still got a lot to loose but feel like it's moving again, xx

I lost (or relost!) a pound this week which was good as i had a bad sunday 😊.

Im not going to stressed too much about this week, i am trying to be good but its lo's first birthday party on sun so i am sure i will be naughty

Sorry I haven't been around..I completely fell of the wagon after my 2.5lb gain! I didn't go this week as I was poorly but have hopped back on the wagon since yesterday so hopefully will get a good loss this week and keep going!

I am back from my holiday! Got the group on Wednesday to see how much damage has been done. I have done tons of body magic and most food was healthy so hoping it wont be too bad.

First weigh in this morning - I’ve lost 4.5lb which I’m happy with considering I went out for a meal on Saturday night and ate EVERYTHING 😁

Hi all,

I started my weight loss journey in February with 7 stone to lose. Currently 2 1/2 stone down with slimming world. The first stone I done at home, but the last stone and a half I’ve done it through group. I love going to group as I find the support really helpful. And it gets me out of the house one night a week, as I’m currently at home with my 13 month old son.

I go on holiday to Spain next week so a little apprehensive that I may end up binging on all the wrong foods (3 euro fried breakfasts being one of the main culprits!).

Really in the zone now and go for weigh in tomorrow, hoping it’s a good loss as I was at Nando’s on Sunday and opted for the butterfly chicken and spicy rice (about 5 syns in total I think), whereas I would usually have the chicken thighs and peri peri salted fries. It was actually really nice.

Hi ladies

I am too scared to weigh in this week, i didnt fall off the wagon i flung myself off of it 😂.

But after a chat with an old friend, i feel more positive about things and not making losing weight the bee all and end all! I feel more accepting of myself if that makes sense.

I have also decided when i do weigh in again i am going to start taking weekly pictures of myself, something i was refusing to do as i hate looking at myself in the mirror/having a picture taken but i think i need to.

Well, got on my scales at home this morning and it’s showing a 4lb loss this week. So hoping the sw scales are similar later! I weigh in the evenings at group, but I never know what to eat throughout the day on weigh day.

I lost 1lb which surprised me as I had been on holiday not following the plan. Got my 1st award so total lost now is 1st 1/2lb Grin

MummatoaMunchin I think the key thing is to not stress about the weight loss. It will happen even if you get off plan every now and again. Just got to get back on it.

Taking pictures is a good idea. I have been thinking of doing it too.

I had a lovely holiday thanks for asking. Very active and didn't think about too much what I was eating, just wanted to enjoy myself.

Meralia how did it go? I tend to eat normally like I do any other day on weigh in days as it wont affect the loss you have. I know some people dont as they want the best possible result but I just don't see the point.

I mean it’s good in one way - I’ve lost another 1.5lb since Monday so I’m confident that by next Monday I’ll have lost half a stone in total.... but I know there will be days I might even gain and it doesn’t take much for me to throw my hands up, say “fuck this then” and inhale cake 😳

Have been doing this for so so long - started on 31 October last year and have lost only 2st 3lb so far - I think it is my age (60+) combined with no exercise. Have got 2 meals out this week sadly so will try and make good choices and see how I go on next Tuesday.

I hope you had a good loss at group! The nando's sounds good! - We go to Nando's when we go to Newport to visit my nan so pleased I can have something there! Enjoy your holiday and deal with the weight gain/loss when you get back is my motto :D! Just try and be as good as you can but obviously you aren't cooking so you can't dictate what they use!.

MummatoaMunchin Haha I love that - Flung myself off!- I will be using that haha! Hope it wasn't too bad when you stepped on the scales! Taking the picture sounds like a good idea! Do you measure yourself too? I haven't as I don't have that sort of tape measure but that might be something to keep you going too :)

I didn't go last week as I was poorly, I haven't been as strict as I am normally but it's paid off and I had a 4.5lb loss this week! I am so pleased it's got me motivated again! I am only 0.5 away from a new number which is great.
2 stone 11.5lb loss to date!

Well, I lost 2.5lb at group, got slimmer of the week, which was cool.

I can thoroughly recommend Aldi lamb rogan josh (chilled, not the one with the rice) it’s 1.5 syns for the whole pack and it is so so tasty. Tastes so much nicer than the SW ready meals.

I have seven stone to loose and have lost 1stone 9 so far since joining in May which I’m pleased about but obviously I’d like it to be more.
I do get overwhelmed sometimes at how far I have to go.

It made me chuckle when i thought it! It was the best way to describe my naughtiness!
It wasnt too bad i actually lost 1.5lbs but im not having much hope for tomorrow as i have just come back from a hen weekend.

I dont have a measuring tape, i think it would be really helpful i just need to buy one!

Though i have decided i am starting from scratch tomorrow. Whatever i weigh is the new start of my journey. I feel like that will inspire me too!

Grr - had a maintain this week - suppose I have to expect it after 2 meals out though. This is what I mean about it going so slowly.

Well done everyone on their weight losses and continued efforts.

I can't remember who told me this, but they said that the most successful weight losers were those who just kept going - not the ones with massive losses every week necessarily - but those who just kept going for a long time, not being sabotaged by some gains and maintains. I am hoping this is me.

Got my silver body magic award and I lost another 1.5lb last night but it was a surprise as I have had quite a bad week with so many things going on. I guess I wasnt as bad as I though or all the body magic I am doing is helping.

I went shopping and am now 100% back on plan this week so maybe next loss is a big one.

Just back from group, I had a 2.5lb loss and hit my 3 stone award!
Very pleased, I haven't been particular good this week as I haven't been able to stomach much, On Friday last week I found out that I was expectantly expecting number 2!
I have no idea how far I am (PCOS) and so this week has been a struggle with appetite, My losses might slow down completely now for the next 8 or so months!
Eeek!

Thanks ladies, It was a bit of a shock! - We haven't been trying! But still happy as we did want another baby!

I am really happy with my 3 stone loss, Just hope I don't fall off the wagon during pregnancy too much and can continue when baby is here.

So I went on holiday for 2 weeks and somehow despite all the dodgy stuff I was eating I have managed to sts. Not entirely sure how, but at least I didnt put on.

Back to the diet this week, there have been a few moments I havent been putting on the record card but I hope when I weigh in on Tuesday I have lost something. Mainly because a favourite dress of mine is feeling a bit looser than usual.

Shame the trousers of doom still wont bloody do up. I will be wearing them come January.

brattitude I find that when I am on holiday I am much more active and don't eat as much as I do at home so wont put on even if the food it bad for me. I managed to lose whilst on holiday and I didn't count a thing or watch what I ate.

I also have a item of clothing in the closet that does not fit but I have decided that it will by Christmas/New year. It is a dress I used to wear a lot that my OH bought for me as a present 5 or 6 years ago. It hasn't fit me for few years since I have put on 3.5 stone from then.

I have had a few good days on plan, feel like I got the motivation back now. I was lucky that I did not put on and managed to lose even when I wasn't 100% on plan. But I want to get to 2st pretty soon so got to be good!!
