Come and join us on this if you have a lot to lose.
I started SW at 24 stone 11lbs and in 14 weeks I have lost 2 stone 5.5lbs.
I am super proud of myself but I have 11 stone 13 pounds to go.
We can do this!
Share what you want..If you need a little bit of motivation or just want to have a good cry.

The BBQ was lovely thank you, We were stuffed! - I wouldn't go out of your way for the sausages :D lol I quite like the Heck chicken Italia sausages which are low syns.
We make normal burgers if we have them for a meal ourselves but I was just trying to save us having to make loads before a BBQ so tried the burgers...Never again lol!.
Well done on keeping within syns for a roast dinner! - I do love a roast so I am so pleased you can have them on SW!

Well done on drinking water, I don't drink enough water, I should do really but we live in a hard water area so need to either buy a filter or bottled water, I might think about getting a filter again. The water tastes rank straight from the tap.
I hope you are wrong tomorrow for weigh in!

I have been on plan since Thursday (Weigh day), So hoping that I have a good loss on Thursday. I hope I achieve my 1.5lb!
I have set myself a goal of 2.5 stone by Christmas, This would take me up to 5 stone loss in total since End of March!. Fingers crossed.
I am loving how focused I am at the moment!.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

Thegirlwithnousername I am glad your bbq was lovely! I haven't tried the heck sausages before, they look nice! Will give them a go next time I go shopping.
Roast dinner is my favourite meal so I am super happy that I can still have it. I love gravy so do end up using a lot of syns for that.
Well done on staying on plan! I am sure you will reach your goal by Christmas!

SnailMailFan I hope the weigh in will go well.
I like water so I dont have a problem drinking it but having a bright coloured water bottle is supposed to help with drinking water as it catches your attention. I suppose a bright coloured cup would do the trick too.

Made some burgers inspired by the thread and they were lovely. Ended up being 8 syns as my wholemeal roll needed to be synned + 2tbs of ketchup to go with the SW chips.

I have been sticking to the plan 100% apart from my planned off day. I was supposed to go for walk yesterday though but ended up being too busy during the day. I did walk to work today so get to fill that in for body magic.

Solina I have only tried the italia one's so can't say what the other one's are like.
I love a burger and use Mozerella, Bacon, Gherkins sometimes an egg.. AMAZING! - I don't use buns (It feels sooo naughty but it's all free :).)

I haven't been too bad today, Still on track for my 1.5lb hopefully!
I help run a toddler group on a Tuesday and I took cakes in for the children, I brought a whole tray of them home and haven't touched them! Normally I would of had a couple!
It's so hot here I think I must have sweated out a few pounds haha!

It has been boiling here too, I am not fan of the hot weather when I have to work.

My weigh in is tonight. Hoping to achieve that 1/2 stone award tonight and feel pretty positive about it.

Last night I really wanted some chocolate so thought I would plan it in for today but now I am not sure if I still want it. I might not have anything synned and then decide later what I want to do.

Hi ladies, i was wondering if i could join in? I am feeling very disappointed with myself and low and need motivation!

I started doing slimming world alone in Jan (i couldn't afford group and work tuesdays which is when my local group is on).

Start weight was 16st 3.5lbs, i managed to loose a stone but took me until April and after a month off and not being able to focus i went back up to 15st 9.5lbs.

I am so disappointed with myself i had big plans that i would have lost alot by now, i have events coming up i really wanted to loose weight for. But had some stuff going on so lost my focus.

Sorry depressing post 🙁😂

Focus is everything. I find I’m fine as long as I’m concentrating, but the second I get distracted, I struggle.

We’re here for you. Do you think it would help to post here every day, or once a week or whatever you’re comfortable with, to keep you on the straight and narrow?

Don’t be disappointed with yourself, instead try to focus on what you HAVE achieved. You’ve lost 8lbs - that’s great.

Welcome, It's so very hard to keep up the motivation! You have done really well! -Better than if I diet at home without attending classes!.

It's my weigh in day! Eek, I hate this day, I get so nervous even if I haven't been naughty haha, I am still hoping I got my 1.5lb tonight, I am going to the earlier class than normal so weigh in at 17.30 will come back and let you guys know how I do!

I am having another good day. I am still finding staying on plan pretty easy. Wonder when that stops! The weather does help, I am not really craving all the rubbish I normally eat as it is so hot all the time.

Good luck today Girl! You need a user name!! You’re going to lost 1.5lbs, I know it. Probably more.

I can’t wait to start, but I’m worried about the length of the group. I’m the worlds worst fidget (I’m sure if I was a child now, they would say I have ADHD - my daughter has). I read the other day that the groups are two hours of going round the circle. That’s a really really long time. Also I am a massive worrier. I’m going to try to be at the beginning of the circle if possible do I can listen properly. Otherwise I’m just going to spend the whole time worrying about my turn. I’ve got way too long to over think this.
PremierNaps let us know how it goes.

Well done Solina for sticking to plan. I wonder how long it does last. Let’s hope that the excitement of losing weight gives us the adrenaline to keep motivated, and all the milestones like buying a smaller size top or whatever.

@SnailMailFan im the same and even a slight temptation throws me off! Im not sure really, i think just having you guys to chat to will really help 😊. That is very true i have shown myself i can do it. Just wish it all came off in a day! 😂

@Thegirlwithnousername i get distracted far too easily! It has finished, its just the aftermath (feeing very low) but i have decided to focus on slimming world to distract myself 😊

I think your husband might be right, also I’m convinced I retain water in the heat. My feet are swollen. Could that be the case for you?

You might find you have a big loss next week. Sometimes peoples bodys go into shock a bit when they first start dieting, and they hang on to every pound (not sure how scientific this is, but I was certainly told it at a diet group).I hope next week is much better.

I guess so, I know I didn't drink much yesterday so we will see next week! 2.5lbs aim this week!
I have drunk 1 litre of water (Plus squash - Sugar free) already today, I never drink water so this is a plus for me, I am trying to keep my motivation going today but it's so easy to just go bugger it I am going to be naughty!.

We can do this!!!

I dont drink water on its own mostly sugar free squash and coffee and that seems to keep me hydrated 😊

I fell of the wagon Thursday/Friday evening's and had delicious icecreams! (I think Thursday would have been in my Syn's, Friday's deffo wasn't haha!).
I have been back on it since Saturday though and have been pretty good! -I have done quite a bit (Well for me) walking so hopefully even with my blip I will have a loss this week!.
Having a BBQ again today so saved all my syns for that!

Hi everyone! I have had a busy but lovely weekend so haven't managed to post here. I have been doing lots of body magic in form of swimming in the sea and walking around outside enjoying the sunshine. Managed to have a SW friendly bbq too as we bought all the food ourselves this time.

I have been staying on plan and writing down all the food I have eaten. I did go out with a friend who doesnt know I am doing SW and had some cake I didn't actually want that much but I didnt really know what else to do in the situation! It cost me all the syns plus few more on that day which was annoying as it wasn't really worth it.

Thegirlwithnousername I am sorry to hear about the gain. Also, going off plan happens but what matters most is that you get back on the plan!

Hi everyone. Just wrote this on your other thread but this one seems the place to post it. Lost 2lb this week, going on holiday on this week for a couple of nights but determined to be on plan before and after i get back. My weigh in is on a saturday.

Glad I found this post. I have lost 2 stone 2lb with slimming world. Starting weight was 22st 10.5lb in march and I can't believe I'm admitting this somewhere. I've been aiming for 2 stones and that was my interim target, adjusted for another 2 stones and will keep doing that so it is manageable. I have been messing around, although losing, and not doing as well as I know I can do do would be great to have some inspiration and motivation from others. I have lost 4 stone previously and then fell pregnant and the weight has crept back up - can't blame it on baby weight when my child is nearly 2.

Well done on your 2stone 2lb loss too! Hopefully you can get some motivation from us! - Are you me?I lost 4 stone to get pregnant and then it crept back on...My son is also 2 years old :D!

I have been good today, I have drank quite a bit of water, so hoping to have a good loss this week!
I brought 2 packs of Fibre one 90 calorie's from lidl this week, One I am not to fussed on which is Lemon drizzle cake, and I also had the Chocolate fudge brownies and they are amazing!
Brownies is 4syns for a 24g bar.
Lemon Drizzle is also 4syns for 24g.
Would recommend them if you want a chocolate brownie fix.
Hope everyone else is doing good?!

Thank you! I'm going to Spain, hoping to do lots of drinking water (alongside the alcohol!) And lots of water to minimise damage but ultimately want to enjoy myself as it's only a few days away! Then will get straight back to it when I return.

I had the fibre one popcorn bar yesterday and that was really nice for a healthy extra b, think it's 4 or 5 syns too but need to check.

Oh sounds good! Hope you have a lovely time! Oh that sounds nice! Is the popcorn stale though? I had something before with popcorn in it (Pre diet) and the popcorn was stale so not very nice!

Yes I suppose it is quite stale tasting to be honest. On reflection after having another it was only ok to be honest haha.

First day of holiday today I've had 2 small beers and some tapas. I've walked 19k steps which is a lot for me, and we are having showers after waking from a brief siesta and going back out for more walking although also more drinks and more tapas. It's 35 degrees plus here so lovely and hot. Don't know how we managed all those steps in this heat.

I had my weigh in today and lost 3lb. Only need to lose another 3lb and I will get my stone award! Very pleased.
