Also, I havent been weighing myself since I just came on and want to make sure I'm getting things right first before jumping on the scale expectantly haha

Jo2217 · 26/10/2017 13:27

Hi! Sorry! One more thing, I found the recipe - I've attached for anyone else. 😊

Happy birthday Owlina! Grin Enjoy Cake

NightOfTheDeadXmasFairy · 26/10/2017 15:31

McDonald’s was the only food option available for lunch 😱🙈 AND they had NO SALADS 😱😱 I had to think on the spot, sacrificing 17 syns on a grilled chilli chicken wrap. Not horrendous. When it arrived it was the crispy one, 😭😭😭😭 23.5 syns. Didn’t have time to send it back. Low syn Friday coming my way 😂😂

RhinoGirl · 26/10/2017 17:01

2lb off and slimmer of the week for me :) having pizza tonight due to busy day going on, but 100%back on plan for tomorrow morning and the rest of the week.

Flutterby81 · 26/10/2017 18:05

Well done &Rhinogirl.
@Jojo2217 that's a different recipe to the one in this months mag but pretty similar I'm at work at moment but will post it when I get home later tonight if you want?

Groovee · 26/10/2017 18:45

This is the one from this month’s mag. Was just looking at it 😂.

Loving the new comfort collection book as it has slow cook recipes in it x

I've bought a piece of pork to make my first-ever slimming world pulled pork tomorrow. I feel like it's a rite of passage.

NightOfTheDeadXmasFairy · 26/10/2017 19:15

Slimming world lasagne with salad and a 4.5 syn piece of cheesy garlic bread pizza

PositiveAttitude · 26/10/2017 20:25

I have just had toad in the hole with Asda Lean sausages, so I am counting 5 syns for the plateful. It was yum!!

2nd on plan day since weigh on. I am determined to really be 100% on plan all this week and get off that last bit of holiday gain.

Happy Birthday Owl. Enjoy the celebrations! Thanks What I like about SW is that I find it far easier to jump back into it once I have fallen off the wagon - and you certainly have a good reason to indulge this week.

Scribblegirl · 26/10/2017 21:19

Well done rhino and happy birthday owl! All good here - sausage and mash with lots of speedy veg, and the sausages were the syn free Linda McCartney veggie/rosemary ones so I've managed to finish up my day on a big fat zero thanks to milk in the mash counting as HexA Smile

I'm already a bit scared about Saturday - having an afternoon out with my lovely girlfriends which would usually involve a lot of wine and dinner at the pub i.e. grazing over a bowl of chips every other hour. Going to have to be very motivated, but trying to mitigate the damage in advance with a few zero syn days...

OwlinaTree · 27/10/2017 06:45

Thanks all. Great meal last night with lovely wine. Unfortunately baby still up at the crack of dawn!

thisgirlrides · 27/10/2017 10:46

@NightOfTheDeadXmasFairy I feel your pain as had carefully planned my selection for a meal out at pizza express, only to find the dc were shattered after a day out and ended up back at home having Dominoes & a bottle of wine ShockShockShock. No point in even trying to syn just drawing a line under it and going super speed for the next 48 hours (until another meal out Saturday night Confused). Hoping to go for a run today in an attempt to counter some of the calories as I'm procrastinating about training for a half marathon.

B1rdonawire · 27/10/2017 13:30

Anyone have any recipes they've tried for a SW-fairly-friendly birthday cake? Mine is coming up and I will want cake! I was wondering about fairy cakes so there isn't a WHOLE CAKE sitting in the house afterwards and I could freeze some, but thought I would ask you lot if you had better ideas? Please??

Groovee · 27/10/2017 14:24

I blitz up 40g of oats, add 90g of yoghurt, 1 egg and some options hot chocolate at 1.5/2 syns. Then mix together and bake for 30 minutes.

I made banana muffins the other day which came out at 6.5 syns each,

My daughter’s birthday cake this year was 14 syns a slice.

Another day on plan just need to make it through the weekend to weigh In Grin
Dinners cooking now Spanish chicken and rice from the mag.

thisgirlrides · 27/10/2017 18:50

Menu today not all super speed as a planned but avoided using all bar 1 syn and pretty good overall:

B: Scrambled egg with grilled mushrooms & cherry tomatoes (1/2 HEB)
L: streamed asparagus with smoked salmon salad plus banana
D: 1 syn tandoori chicken with veg & rice (4 tblspn Pataks tandoori spice marinade & fat free yogurt, lean chicken & roasted veg) really simple just marinade the man got before it served 4 and the whole family LOVED it and there's still half a jar leftover to make another one Smile
Snacks: Alpen Bar (1/2 HEB) Diet Coke, Apple, satsuma and some grapes. Might have a fat free yogurt later if I'm peckish.
