Hi

I joined last week. First time I have done SW. Anyone want to join me?

I weighed in (Tue) at 11 st 12.5lb (5'7" tall). I set my target for 1 stone, but would really like to get back down to 10 stone. Not sure this is doable before Christmas.

I started a new job 2 years a go and have put on 2 stone.

I am amazed how much free food their is. I don't think I have eaten so much fruit, veg or eggs in years!

Today I have had:

Breakfast: Branflakes and milk
Mid morning: A banana and 6 strawberies
Lunch: Rocket, sweet potato and feta salad with an ostrich steak (2 for £4.49 from Lidl, 157 cals and 2% fat), fat free yoghurt.

(Never had an ostrich steak before, it was delicious. It was in a Moroccan marinade)

Will probably have an omelette for tea.

WelcomeClick Hip it seems 9st7 is the magic number for a lot of us!
I'm eating beans on whole meal toast, so that's my HexB and I added 15g of grated cheese 1/2 my HexA the rest I use on milk for tea.
I've bought some nice herbal teas for the evenings. I'm sleeping better now I've cut my alcohol right back!

Well done clickhip , that's a brilliant weight loss .That's the kind of progress I'm looking for . My weight has crept on the last few years. I'm enjoying the food and feeling more like myself . Went for a walk today and hit my 10,000 steps so I'm pleased with that 😀

1.5 lb off, so I have my half stone off sticker and now have a BMI of 24.9. 8lb off in 5 weeks. Whoo hooo!

Hi, do you all mind if I join you? Joined SW 2 weeks ago today weighing 13 stone 4.5lb, height 5ft 4, goal is 10 stone. The first week was hard but I still lost 4lb and this week I’ve lost 4.5lb!!! I’ve found that having 3rd speed food with each meal has really helped with my hangry feeling and also following SW recipes for everything too. Any tips anyone can give me would be great!

Good luck filo. I'm waiting for my tea in the oven (sw chips, cauldron vegan burger and some beans I think) I can really struggle sometimes eating at a more sensible hour. But hey no. It is as It is.

Maria I'm like you really trying to keep to plan :) I bought the free food feasts cookbook at class last week and have been eagerly following the recipes.

Next week I need to weigh in at a different class and do the evening instead of the normal morning one. It's going to really impact my weight isn't it :(

Was out and about all day yesterday so it ended up being an off plan day - no speed food and no Healthy Extras. But stuck to things like instant porridge in Starbucks and salmon in Ikea for lunch so hoping that it won't affect my loss.

First weigh in this evening. 2lb loss would get me back in the 10s, but will be happy with anything.

maria25 I have exactly the same starting weight and target and I am the same height!! Grin Only 2 lb away from my stone in 6 weeks but finding it tough to deny my nightly alcoholic drink once the kids are in bed. I use pretty much all my syns on alcohol Blush

Play dough me too on the booze am off out with friends tonight, really want to get drunk have been so good lately. I've got my trainers on and heels in my bag it's a half hour walk 1.5miles. I figure that will give me an extra glass of wine :)

I would enjoy my night out with a few tipples . I was out in Manchester last Saturday for my friends birthday at a mad hatters tea party with bubbles . It was great fun . I didn't have as many sins in the week so it didn't affect my weight loss . Have a fab night 🍾

filo You deserve two drinks for that walk!! I must say, I've swapped wine for vodka or gin and have stuck to the food plan like an angel and have lost each week. I think that's the key to sticking to it longer term... If I had to deny myself of my only guilt pleasure I wouldn't have lasted a day week !!

I joined on Tuesday, weigh 13st 2lb, 5ft 9. Would like to loose a stone by Christmas. Day 3 & I'm struggling. I have a sweet tooth & not particularly a healthy/salad/fruit eater so wondering if it's right for me!

Welcome Nj you need to make sure you are eating enough so you're not hungry. I've started having a highlights hot choc if I need something sweet 2 syns.
Don't give up, you can do this x

I stayed the same at weigh in last night. Fed up because I had stuck to plan. I weighed in last night instead of yesterday morning though. I'm hoping that I'll see a good loss next week now. Fed up.
