Hi

I joined last week. First time I have done SW. Anyone want to join me?

I weighed in (Tue) at 11 st 12.5lb (5'7" tall). I set my target for 1 stone, but would really like to get back down to 10 stone. Not sure this is doable before Christmas.

I started a new job 2 years a go and have put on 2 stone.

I am amazed how much free food their is. I don't think I have eaten so much fruit, veg or eggs in years!

Today I have had:

Breakfast: Branflakes and milk
Mid morning: A banana and 6 strawberies
Lunch: Rocket, sweet potato and feta salad with an ostrich steak (2 for £4.49 from Lidl, 157 cals and 2% fat), fat free yoghurt.

(Never had an ostrich steak before, it was delicious. It was in a Moroccan marinade)

Will probably have an omelette for tea.

I have stayed the same this week. 1 st 9lb down since Sept. My birthday tomorrow and we are out for Sunday lunch at a really nice restaurant. I will try to be good-ish!

Now at target, so might not go to WI this week.

Hi - just checking in and wondering how everyone's doing 😁 I've had an up and down few weeks (.5 off, 1 on, .5 off etc) but 3lb off today so hoping I've fought off the stop start. 2stone 3lb down since September.

Thank you twizzr. I am the thread starter and I am so pleased a few of us have kept with it. It is great to share the highs and lows and be their for moral support.

I was completely new to SW and very sceptical, especially as the weight did not drop off rapidly. It is a good job I bought a 6 week plan, otherwise I would have given up at week 3! But small losses add up. I am nearly 2 stone down and at target (10st 3.5lb tonight). I see this as a life style change not a diet.

Good luck. x

Oldowl- I can't believe nobody's noticed... that's a fab drop!

I've stalled and I'm getting fed up. Last 3bweels have been 0.5 on, 0.5 off, 1 on 😭

On a positive note... our consultant introduced us to this... THREE slices for a b choice.

I've just had a triple Decker blt with it!

Hey all. Joined on Thursday. I have 3 stone to lose, which was a bloody shock! I am a sugar junkie, so the cutting down on chocolate is what I'm finding hardest. Everything else is pretty straightforward.

Utterly despised the group thing though. Almost 2 hours! Planning to weigh and run next week.

Snack tips appreciated please!!

Stayed the same this week. Losing the plot a bit, as 'leaving dos' with lots of cake is proving too tempting.

I am nearing 2 stone weight loss and have dropped from size 14-16 to size 10 and not a soul have noticed at work... not that anyone has commented anyway!!

Grrr - I need a boost. Put on half a pound last week, lost only that sane half a pound this week 😣

As an aside- does anyone else feel embarrassed if people mention / comment on your weight loss? My lovely MIL commented today and said she could really tell. Others agreed and a few commented. I just felt really embarrassed (mainly because I was embarrassed at having the weight to lose in the first place I think)

I remember thinking the same when I first started. I did not go to the loo for days but still lost! I put it down to eating lots of eggs in omelettes.

Well done, getting your half stone award.

I know if I eat one piece of cake or one packet of crisps I will fail and not continue. I didn’t realise how much my life revolves around food. Most of it the wrong food too!
I’m sure you will crack it 🙂

As a result of my completely capitulating, saying 'yes' to cake at least 3 times, not doing it properly at all, I have put on 1.1/2 lb. Im back on it though now. Im hoping to lose the weight ive put on and more, as i got my club 10 last week and it was quite hard to get there.

Ive lost the plot this week. I planned all my dinners but didnt plan my breakfasts or lunch, then didnt have stuff in the house, either had a banana and then was so hungry that I bought non SW stuff for lunch. Home has also been stressful so ive been eating cake in the afternoons to 'treat' myself . Im going to the shops today to buy some veg and batch cook some soup and make egg muffins and baked oats for breakfast. Its weigh in on Thursdays but I think its too late to pull it back so Im going to have to suck up whatever happens and move on Wine
