Afternoon all

Been a busy bee this weekend doing various animal and child related tasks. Had a very off day plan friday due mainly to a poorly toddler but was ok yesterday.

Haven't eaten yet today which is a bit naughty but just about to start cooking a sunday roast so saving myself for that now.

I love the mint hifi bars. Am sure they have more fibre in them though. I am much more (ahem) productive when i eat 2 of those for a b choice. Hoping it shows on the scales next week!

Groovester · 27/11/2016 19:14

Oxo roasties a big hit with everyone in the family. Very easy to make after all.

Craving a sweet treat but know stomach is full so trying to distract myself from naughtiness...

ALemonyPea · 27/11/2016 20:29

BIL finally gone home, and survived a soft play party without eating anything I shouldn't.

I reckon, this month, I'll not lose that much as I have so much on. Doing damage limitation more than anything else. 4.5 lbs for my 6 stone loss, so hoping to get that back Christmas.

OwlinaTree · 27/11/2016 22:55

Have had a lovely weekend, various eating out involved though! Lunch out twice, half a takeaway Saturday night... Very small piece of chocolate cake...

Have two days to stick to plan now. Weigh in Tuesday, only need 1lb off to reach my 10%. Fx!

ALemonyPea · 28/11/2016 11:34

You can do it Owl, good luck.

Doing an SP day today, debit of damage limitation after my big meal out on a Saturday. I have another two Saturdays that involve eating out 🙈

Groovester · 28/11/2016 13:27

www.slimmingeats.com/blog/syn-free-spicy-carrot-and-lentil-soup

Just made this for lunch. Absolutely delicious so thought I'd share. Grin

Frouby · 28/11/2016 14:58

That soup looks lovely groovester. Bet it would be nice done with parnips too.

Star week has arrived so am hoping it wont make me eat the rest of the dark chocolate i have stashed away for emergencies.

Today's plan

B coffee
L left over pork, pickled beetroot and pickled onions. Was lush and almost a ploughman's.
T. Omelette and salad with sw chips

OwlinaTree · 28/11/2016 16:47

Ended up having lunch out again! Had ham omelette and salad so I'm guessing a couple of syns for oil.

PositiveAttitude · 28/11/2016 17:00

I ended up having lunch out, too. i am trying to avoid it at the moment as I know that I have so many things coming up where I will be eating out and highly likely to be off plan meals. But today I chose a rotisserie chicken with new potatoes and veg. I asked for gravy on the side and no butter on the potatoes. When it arrived it was swimming in gravy Angry, so very much against my normal behaviour I asked for it to go back and have another with no gravy. It was then all a bit awkward as everyone else didnt want to eat until I git mine, despite me telling them to start, but it took ages and I felt I was very unpopular with the kitchen staff. Perhaps I should have just eaten it and kept quiet. Blush

Panic is beginning to set in again about WI tomorrow. I really must get a new battery for my scales so that I don't have to feel like this every week.

MollyRedskirts · 28/11/2016 19:15

I bet you felt awkward because you're not used to doing it, Positive, but well done on sending it back! If the kitchen staff didn't like it - tough! Maybe next time they'll get it right in the first place.

Groovester, that soup sounds delicious. I'm going to make it later. I'm trying to get back in the habit of having soup for lunch, as it's quick and easy to heat up when the baby is screaming at me for daring to go into the kitchen!

Today marks my second day of being 100% on plan and writing everything down. A small achievement, but a good one. I'm breaking it all down so it doesn't seem so overwhelming.

OwlinaTree · 28/11/2016 19:15

It's so hard in that situation pa. I've had it sometimes when I've asked for a jacket with no butter and it comes with loads. There's nothing worse than having to eat something you don't want.

ALemonyPea · 28/11/2016 19:43

Gah! Went past a continental market today and bought sweets and goodies for the DC. Have so far had two bites of caramelised hazelnuts, I need someone to come remove it from the house!

Buttwing · 29/11/2016 14:12

Hi all not been on for a while. Everything been a bit up and down as I've had so much on. I think I've been burning the candle at both ends a bit too much and now I'm illSad awful sore throat and high temp.
Hats off to everyone who is staying on plan at this time of year I'm trying to be as good as I can on days when we've not got stuff on but everything seems to revolve around food and drink at the moment!!

ALemonyPea · 29/11/2016 15:42

Sorry you're feeling rough Butt Flowers. Hope you feel better soon.

1.5 off again for me again, happy with that. 3lb to go to hitnthe 6 stone loss, hoping to get that by Christmas. 3 more WI before then, so hopefully will do it.

OwlinaTree · 29/11/2016 17:53

Well done lemony. I've got WI later, hoping for 1lb so I get my 10% this week. FX. If I do it I would like to lose another 4lb by Xmas as then I will be at 1.5 stone and more importantly into the next stone! Would love to see 10 something on the scales!

Going to be hard though as there are so many things coming up, just as you are finding butt. We have an Xmas party at the weekend, so I'm going to struggle with that I think!

Frouby · 29/11/2016 19:32

Well done Lemony. You are amazing! And good luck for wi owl. My wi is tomorrow morning. Hoping for at least a small loss even though it's star week.

Todays plan.

B. Coffee
L. Hifi bar and a yoghurt
T. Steak, roast new potatoes and salad or veg. Some mushrooms as well I think.

OwlinaTree · 29/11/2016 20:45

Managed 1lb off, so got my club 10, I am delighted!

PositiveAttitude · 29/11/2016 21:21

Well done Owl

I also got 1.5lb off again. Pleased with that. Grin just another 3lb to get my 3.5 stone award. Hope to get that by Christmas, then into the next stone bracket for New Year.

LavenderRains · 29/11/2016 21:34

Well done losersStar my Wi is tomorrow.
plan today was:
B; Porridge (hex a&b)
T; chicken breast and pasta and home made veg soup.
At lunchtime I went to Costa with a friend. Had a pot of teaGrin and a cornflake crispy cake. Any idea how many syns for the cake anyone??

ALemonyPea · 29/11/2016 21:37

Well done Owl 💐

OwlinaTree · 29/11/2016 22:35

Thanks guys

eeyoredebbie · 30/11/2016 08:03

Lavender I looked on the app but could only find Costa Christmas cornflake crunch which is 15.5. Searched for cornflake cake and it said 3 syns!

Frouby · 30/11/2016 08:35

Aaarrrgggghhhh

Supposed to be at wi in half an hour but ds (nearly 3) is poorly. Raging temp and looks very sorry for himself. This is about the 4th time in 3 weeks. Only just got rid of a really nasty cough. Waiting for calpol to kick in. Sigh.

Just weighed on my home scales and it's showing at least a 1lb loss too. Oh well. Will possibly go to the 11am one if he is feeling a bit better.

Today's plan

B. Coffee
L. Hm veg soup
T. Beef stew with mash and a fuckton of veg.

alibongo5 · 30/11/2016 08:56

I had my WI on Tuesday and maintained which I was happy with - I had been out with my son last week and we ended up having steak and ale pie, and beer and then some more beer.....

and then on Saturday I had gone to football and had some more beer before the match - and then we won, so I had some more beer to celebrate.

On Sunday I went to my friend's birthday party - small buffet, nothing free, no speed. Soft drinks were all full-fat, so I thought I might as well use my syns on something decent, so had prosecco.

Now I've written all that down, I am staggered I managed to maintain!!!!

Not so much going on this week so hope to get to next Tuesday having more or less stuck to plan and have a decent loss.

Well done to all of you who have resisted temptation much better than me!

Groovester · 30/11/2016 13:53

Well done on all the recent losses. My wi tomorrow. Hoping for another 3lbs off...
