Happy late birthday Butt! Hope you had a lovely day xx

Dn is back home now thank God. Poor little mite. And my poor dsis. I don't think we have broken any mirrors lately. Am hoping our luck will change but it hasn't started well this week. Dp is self employed as a builder (we have our own company) and the job we were supposed to be doing from now until January has been cancelled. And we are owed quite a bit of money from them too so it's a bit of a worry.

Got another start for Wednesday but am still very pissed off.

Anyway. Scales showing a loss already this week so that's good.

Today's plan

B. Coffee
L. Hm veg soup
T. Probably spaghetti bolognaise.

Buttwing · 21/11/2016 12:01

Thanks everyoneSmile

I had a peek on scales this morning (and jumped off quick!) I'm doing 2 sp days to make up for my blowout. I have made a chicken and veg soup for lunch and I'm having a prawn stir fry with boodles for dinner. I've got such a busy week and a couple of nights out involving food and booze so I'm going to try and do as much sp as I can handle! I think on the nights out I will try and be reasonably good with the food as I'm not sure how restrained I will be in the gorgeous new cocktail bar I'm going to!!

Buttwing · 21/11/2016 12:03

Em that must be really hard it's like changing your whole mindset, could you try being on plan in the week and then relaxing a bit at the weekends? I suppose it's just finding the right balance for you which I guess is easier said than done!

Welcome littleoyster that is a fabulous weightloss! And well done for keeping it off everyone has blips occasionally hopefully everyone on here will help you stay on trackSmile

ALemonyPea · 21/11/2016 13:24

Welcome littleOyster

I'm at war with my bathroom scales. Have been weighing myself daily since Inhad two bad days, and yesterday scales showed a 4lb loss, today I'm the same as I was on weigh day. Pissing me off. I am probably going to have notmoost anything this week. It's really getting to me.

Em, I'm scared of ggetitng tomtarget and not being able to maintain. I don't want to diet the rest of my life, but equally, don't want to get there, and pilemit all back on. I hope you find a happy medium where you maintain.

Good news on your nephew Frouby.

ALemonyPea · 21/11/2016 13:25

*not lost

Buttwing · 21/11/2016 16:20

Right can I ask for opinions on what I'm eating on an sp day? I feel like the very hungry caterpillar I've not stopped eating all dayBlush do you think this is too much?

Orange
Chicken and veg soup
3 hifis
A 120grm packet of ham
Spoonful of homemade hummus (1 syn)
Cucumber slices (about 7)
Bag of carrot sticks
3 Melba toasts (1.5)
2 big pickled onions
1 mini curly wurly 3.5)

I've not even had dinner yetBlush

ALemonyPea · 21/11/2016 17:34

Looks ok Butt, maybe not enough speed?

ALemonyPea · 21/11/2016 17:35

Or maybe not enough protein if you're hungry. Have a couple of eggs.

Scorbus · 21/11/2016 17:37

Evening all! Up to 1st 4lb in 12 weeks, not too shabby!

Risotto tonight with lots of tender stem broccoli to up my speed food intake.

B: Overnight oats
L: Thai Green Curry (leftovers from Sat night, SW recipe)
HExA: Milk
HExB: not decided yet!

Buttwing · 21/11/2016 18:59

Thanks lemony I think I'm just having a hollow day maybe my body is in shock after all the good yesterdayGrinWink

Groovester · 21/11/2016 21:44

Evening All,

Another positive day here although I feel hungry tonight so just necked 2 satsumas, 2 rice cakes and a hifi bar. Thinking I'm just tired after a busy day.

B - Melon
L - 2 poached eggs, some grilled bacon medallions and whole meal toast (hex b)
D - Beef and tomato stew with green beans, carrots and turnip. I only ate 1 potato with it which possibly also explains why I'm a bit peckish tonight.

Pleased that I chose sensible snacks...

ALemonyPea · 21/11/2016 22:35

I can relate to that, Butt.

Came to bed early as DH scoffing packet of chocolate digestives. He then follows me up 10 minutes later, with said biscuits. Twat!

LavenderRains · 21/11/2016 23:16

lemony my DH ate a whole trifle, yes a 4 serving one all to himself while I was having an omelette Shock to be fair he's like a rake and cycles loads, but still, the cheek of it!
I've tried to have a sp day but only just realised mangoes arnt speed!
Can the experts gauge my sp please?
B mushroom omelette and dish of raspberries
D ham sandwich (hexb wm bread) syned butter. Big Tub of mango chunks
T courgette, onion, pepper Spanish omelette with cheese (hexa) baked beans.
Satsuma. Jelly and alpen bar.

OwlinaTree · 22/11/2016 12:16

Hi guys, looks like I'm not the only one with a hungry husband!

Tried the overnight oats this morning, quite nice. Did it with a muller vanilla and it seemed quite sweet, might try again with plain yoghurt.

Weigh in tonight, 2.5lb off club 10! Don't think I'll do it as I had 2.5lb loss last week but you never know!

Frouby · 22/11/2016 12:34

Good luck Owlina!

Had a good day yesterday. Had jacket spud for tea with salad and tuna. And veg soup for lunch. Determined to have a loss tomorrow.

Today's plan

B. Coffee
L. Salad I think
T. Not sure. Possibly spaghetti bolognaise as we didn't have it yesterday

There is a millionaires cheesecake in the fridge. If I have a good loss tomorrow I am so treating myself lol.

Buttwing · 22/11/2016 13:30

My partner is also hungry! It drives me mad I usually take my self off to another room.

Lav just make sure your plate is made up half protein half speed. So swap the beans for salad or veg.

I've spat my dummy out with sp!! I was planning to do it again today but I'm doing ee I just find it hard I love carbs too much and I'm greedy with them!

I don't think I'm going to have much of a (if any) loss tomorrow and I've got a busy week coming up so I think damage limitation is the way to go! I'm making duck pancakes for taster session tomorrow.

LavenderRains · 22/11/2016 14:30

Thanks butt I'm struggling with sp today but done it for 2 days. 4lb off 2 stone loss so doing all I can to get there!
just sitting here now with a cup of tea and a nice appleConfused
Today's plan;
B cup of tea
D beans on toast with cheese (hex a&b)
Cherry tomatoes
T; chicken breastfeeding with vegetable stir fry. Strawberries.
snacks; 2 slices ham, apple,
maybe finger of fudge tonight.

LavenderRains · 22/11/2016 14:31

Good luck owlina

Buttwing · 22/11/2016 15:05

Lav I'm probably the last person to be giving advice on sp really as I find it so hard! I managed 10 days in a row once, right before I went on holiday I lost 7lbs but I was miserable! I remember dp saying "for fucks sake butt will you have a spud you are seriously doing my head in"GrinBlush

tabulahrasa · 22/11/2016 15:15

I'm kind of intrigued by the breastfeeding chicken Grin...

I know how to do SP, in theory, I bloody struggle with it though, lol

LavenderRains · 22/11/2016 15:47

breastfeeding chicken GrinGrin
bloody phone! I don't think I will be doing many sp days, I love a jacket spud!

LittleOyster · 22/11/2016 15:54

Thanks for the words of welcome. Smile

It's good to see the lunch ideas here. I often fall-down midday, realise I haven't planned and end up grabbing something I'll regret.

Dinner tonight: pork chops with a little melted Stilton on top (hex b), on a load of mange tout.

LittleOyster · 22/11/2016 15:56

Ps. Going to try for an SP day tomorrow...

milkshakeandmonstermunch · 22/11/2016 16:36

Wi this morning at 2.5lbs lost so feeling a bit better after only losing 0.5lbs last week (first week).

Today so far:

B - 2 x hi fi bars
L - jacket potato with cheese and leftover cottage pie mix.
D - going to make a "creamy" (quark) tomato pasta bake with veggie sausage and lots of veg with salad.

I've just accepted that I need a daily hot choc so saving one of my HEAs plus 5 syns for the choc powder. It saves me snacking

milkshakeandmonstermunch · 22/11/2016 16:38

Posted too soon. Should say

...snacking and picking mindlessly if I know I have a hot choc at the end of the day.
