Just about to run out door but wanted to say thanks. Baked potatoes it is!

OwlinaTree · 16/11/2016 17:13

Well done frouby!

Don't worry milkshake, I did better in my second week. Are you having all the healthy extras?

milkshakeandmonstermunch · 16/11/2016 17:51

owlina I've to have 5 x HEs due to breastfeeding and I've been having them all as my consultant said it was really important. Hopefully I'll lose more this week. At least I'm not gaining weight like I did with my first DD (put on a stone post birth due to cakes/biscuits and I'm not going down that road again)!

LavenderRains · 16/11/2016 18:11

milkshake a lady at our group has a 6 week old and thea leader told her to expect a slower loss to start with as her body is holding on to fat reserves.
had my Wi earlier. Lost 6lb but that's over 2 weeks.
So that's 1 stone 10 since start of October. Lots more to lose tho!
Oh and got more shiny stickers and slimmer of the week!

milkshakeandmonstermunch · 16/11/2016 18:58

Thanks lavender, that's good to know. Well done on the loss!

GogoGobo · 16/11/2016 21:22

Wow Lavender - that's great loss since October! I joined this week and was horrified by how much I have to lose! I hope it comes off for me too

Groovester · 16/11/2016 21:32

Amazing lavender - well done!

LavenderRains · 16/11/2016 22:59

Thanks everyone. I think it just shows how bad my diet was. I do 13 hour shifts and survived on chocolate! It just shows what healthy eating can do. I've so much more energy. The house has never been so cleanGrin DH is losing weight to as he's eating the same as me!
My 30 min lunch break used to consist of me seeing how much food I could consume in that time. Now I have one or two items and just sit and relax or MN!

OwlinaTree · 16/11/2016 23:00

Well done lavender, that's fab!

milkshake, I'm breastfeeding too, I wouldn't be surprised if at 4 weeks your body is still holding on to some excess. I started when my baby was 6 weeks, maybe those few weeks make a difference? I'm sure it will start to make a difference soon though, it's normal to be about 12 weeks before getting back into non maternity jeans!

OwlinaTree · 16/11/2016 23:03

As in its ok for it to take a while to get back to prepregnacy weight anyway, even if you stayed off the cakes and biscuits unlike me! I said this baby would have to be called Victoria I ate so much cake!

Frouby · 17/11/2016 07:39

Milkshake I did the plan a couple of years ago when ds was about 4 months old and I was still ebfing. I did lose a stone in about 3 months but it was hard work. I gave up and promptly put it all back on. Be kind to yourself. Your body had spent 9 months creating a person!

Today's plan

B. Coffee
L. Hm veg soup
T. Shepherds pie and a fuck ton of vegetables!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeG0es · 17/11/2016 08:18

0.7kg off today at WI. I was hoping for 1.0 as that would have taken me below 90kg but never mind, still pleased with it.

icklekid · 17/11/2016 08:33

milkshake I started when dd was about 9 weeks and lost a stone in just over a month. Some weeks I lose more than others. Make sure you have extra healthy extras- especially calcium if bf.

emwithme · 17/11/2016 12:45

Blush Grin Blush

Gained 3 lbs this week. Still in target range - JUST.

Back on it like an Easter Bonnet. Want to be at the bottom of target range by Christmas...

Ahem, tomorrow wasn't a new day, and ate my weight in chocolate digestives. Strangely enough, I same on today, which is very strange as wasn't expecting it, only havebone a year, and I've had three this year. Plus no raging PMT where I want to kill DH. Wonder if it has anything to do with my slow loss.

Today, definitely back on it, going to have as many SP days I can cope with to claw it back. The new mint hifi bars certainly help.

Frouby · 17/11/2016 21:07

The mint bars are lovely aren't they!

I changed my mind about lunch and had a sw fry up instead. It was bloody lovely and I couldn't believe it was all free or speed. It's not very often I fancy anything like that.

And it's a good job because the mushrooms haven't half made me do noxious farts which isn't like me.

Dp has been evicting the dog outside for the last hour because he is convinced she needs the toilet and won't go because it's cold. The dog is giving me filthy looks. Grin

LavenderRains · 17/11/2016 21:19

I agree, the mint hifi are lovely. We had samples at group yesterday.
Never mind lemonyI'm sure a couple of days won't make too much difference.
I stuffed 6 club biscuits and a packet of oreo's on the very first day of my planBlush still lost 7lb
Today's plan
B a banana, orange and pear
D ham omelette and salad in a cafe
T chicken and fried rice (home made)
Bowl of strawberries
Syns:finger of fudge, 3 mini meringues.
I also gave the omelette 2 syns as it was in a cafe so probably cooked in oil. Would that be right do you think? X

Groovester · 17/11/2016 21:38

Evening all, 4.5lbs off tonight and Slimmer of the Week. 12lbs in 2 weeks and I swear all I've done is eat. I love SW! Actually buzzing and thinking that this time I might actually stick to things and lose a lot of weight. I have just celebrated with a mint hifi and a double choc one too. Delicious Smile

LavenderRains · 17/11/2016 22:02

Well done groovester amazingStar feels good doesn't it?

Groovester · 17/11/2016 22:16

Thank you. I am delighted. Still at start of a long journey but I've started and going in right direction. I've dropped down into lower stone category too which is also a bonus!

FaithAscending · 18/11/2016 08:15

Brilliant Groovester! Smile

I missed this week (planned in advance) because I had a medical test and couldn't get to any local group. Aside from doing the prep for the test (nightmare - no fruit or veg for a day, it was really odd!), I've stuck to plan and feel optimistic for weigh in tomorrow.

FaithAscending · 18/11/2016 08:16

Tomorrow? Next week!

ALemonyPea · 18/11/2016 15:53

Oh Faith, I've had a rest like that before, can't remember what for as years ago, but yes, odd.

Have had a good day so far, having another SP day and having pizza later. Cannot wait!

Scorbus · 18/11/2016 17:56

I've got the salmon and dill traybake tonight, love how comforting and easy it is to make. Thai green curry in front of Strictly tomorrow!

Buttwing · 18/11/2016 22:34

I've had a takeaway tonight but I've actually stayed on plan!! Chicken rogan josh, boiled rice and salad with mango, pineapple, strawberries and fat free Greek yogurt with a drizzle of choc shots on. It was so so nice! Something has clicked in my head this week and I have been 100% good so far, I still have the weekend to go so I hope I'm still saying this on Monday!
Well done groovsterSmile
