Yes thats right, your plate should be half P, half S

I usually have SP days when I want pizza, and use both B choices for the base using Aldi wholemeal bread flour. Deliciousness!

mumandsum · 14/11/2016 21:22

Ending on 14 syns today

Buttwing · 14/11/2016 21:50

Lemony can you tell me how to make it? I really fancy a pizza and I'm sp-ing tomorrow.
I can't face the cauliflower one I think I would rather do without!

ALemonyPea · 14/11/2016 22:02

It's 60g of the dough made up for one HB, so I make 120g. Leave it to rise for 15-20 mins. I knead it with a knife as it's sticky.

Spray baking tray with frylight, put the dough on and spread it out with your hands as thin as you can
Put passata or tomato purée on
Add toppings, e more the merrier. I used Asda sliced spicy chicken last week and a fuckton of veg
Add your hea allowance of cheese if you want
Cook for 20 mins gas Mark 8 and enjoy

OwlinaTree · 15/11/2016 08:51

Ooh the pizza sounds good, I might try that at the weekend.

I've got weigh in tonight. Really hoping for a good loss, only 1/2 off last week which was ok with a 3lb loss the week before, but would like a bit more tonight. 2lb off a stone...

I've stuck to plan all week, lunch at relatives on wed of yummy stuff, but didn't eat much. Lunch out Saturday, had omlette and salad. Syns between 10 and 14.5 over the week. So I'll be disappointed with no loss! Really want this stone before Xmas!!!

Re Xmas, does everyone think they will go off plan for the whole Xmas/new year period or just a couple of days? I was thinking I might have what I'm offered as such but not eat the extra chocs/nibbles/cheese etc. I want to enjoy it as dh is off for two weeks and we have lots of visitors etc planned, but I don't want to undo all my hard work! Any thoughts on this subject?

ApollO88 · 15/11/2016 09:11

So I ran away from the scales last week and I won't be going to weighin this week for work commitment reasons. I started SW on 7/9/16 and have only lost 9lbs. I'm sick of following a food plan and not seeing the results on the scale. I have lost some weight off my hips but can't down a dress size yet due to the waists. Does anyone have any positive stories after a slow start? I lost 5lbs in my first week then have lost a lbs at a time or maintained

ApollO88 · 15/11/2016 09:13

I get my weighed out cereal with natural yog and banana and blue berries for breakfast. Lunch is usually a mug shot and fruit. Dinner is usually chicken or salmon or quorn sausages with steamed veg and a small jp. I haven't had chocolate since my birthday in sept and never go over my syns. I'm really disheartened by the whole situation

emwithme · 15/11/2016 09:46

ApollO my weight loss has been slow - averaged 3/4 lb a week (that's 0.75 lbs not 3 or 4 lbs, btw). There have been LOTS of weeks where it was only 1/2 a lb or a maintain (and a fair few where I gained!). I have never lost more than 3.5 lbs in a week (first week).

I got to target last week, 4 stone off in 17 months. Slowly but surely, each pound hard fought for, I've got there. Strangely enough, the last stone came off quicker than the first one (first stone took 14 weeks, last stone took 11).

If you lose a pound a week, every week, that adds up to 3 stone 10 lbs in a year.

When I plateaued, I started using My Fitness Pal - I eat the SW way but track all my food through MFP (because part of my issue was that my food was healthy but my idea of a "normal" portion size was WAY off) and that's really given me a boost, and without it I wouldn't have got to target.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeG0es · 15/11/2016 09:59

ApollO - I started on 17 Sept and have only lost 10.5lb too, however I am only aiming to lose 1lb a week, as I was pretty certain I wouldn't be able to sustain the changes needed in the long term if I went in too drastically. Every other diet I've ever attempted I have given up at around the 10lb off mark and I am determined this isn't going to happen again. As it is I still feel as though I am on a learning journey with SW, there are some aspects I have tried and adopted (controlled healthy extras) others that I've decided aren't for me (I'd rather have a proper pudding once or twice a week than Muller lights every day for example). I would say hang on in there, have a look at what you are eating and maybe change things that aren't working for you. I'm not logging anything but I am using digital scales for portion control.

ALemonyPea · 15/11/2016 19:56

Only lost half a lb this week, not even one lb, half a stinking lb.

Have not stopped eating all day, binge binge binge. Will be back on the ball tomorrow, but today I am wallowing in self pity.

beckyg123 · 15/11/2016 20:58

Hi, just saying hello - joined back to sw last night and trying to get my head in the right place today! Was a real shock/wake up call on the scales last night but got to move on and make sure its a lower number next week!
I've been on the plan before and lost weight however gave up last time as a got stuck/bored and lost inspiration then life got stressful and all of my things went out the window!
Back now and ready to give it my best shot! Thought I'd try something new by coming on here, maybe get a bit more support between groups.

Had a great day today with loads of speed. Tried tuna with balsamic vinegar instead of mayo - it was surprisingly yummy!

Just sitting down to a cuppa and a pack of pop corn, hoping the night time munchies don't kick in!

OwlinaTree · 15/11/2016 21:15

Hi guys, welcome Becky. I'm delighted to say I've got my 1 stone award! Actually lost 2.5lb, so I'm delighted with that. Next target is club 10, which is 2.5lb away.

Sorry it was a small loss this week lemony. Do you know why? I had 1/2 off a couple of weeks ago and then got 3 off the next week, sometimes it takes a bit longer to show.

PositiveAttitude · 15/11/2016 22:22

Sorry that you are disappointed, Lemony. At least it is in the right direction.

Mega chuffed with my 3 stone award tonight. 2lb loss! Grin Grin Grin Not bad as I have only just returned from a weekend away. Maybe now people will start to notice. Angry

OwlinaTree · 15/11/2016 22:46

3 stone! Well done pa! Are you close to target now?

PositiveAttitude · 16/11/2016 06:17

Only another 5 stone to go, Owlina Grin so, absolutely nowhere near. I started massive, but I am now feeling more of a "normal big" person, rather than a "Hugely big" person. Wink

beckyg123 · 16/11/2016 07:38

Well done on the awards! You made me laugh PA, last time I lost weight someone told me "wow, you've lost weight, you look like a normal person now!"

Lemony- hope you have a better day today, move on from that binge!

I've got a busy few days ahead, was supposed to do a good shop this lunch time but now don't think I can, as work very busy. Got nothing organised for dinner and I'll need to shop quickly between work and picking kids up- this could be dangerous! Scared I'll just be tempted to get chippy or McDs if I'm hungry! Need to be strong!

ALemonyPea · 16/11/2016 08:04

Today is a new day.

PA, I was like that when I'd lost 3 stone and nobody noticed. Have you bought smaller clothes yet? People will notice when you do.

I'm getting the opposite now, people are telling not to lose more, as I'm nice how I am, but still have a BMI just under the obese mark. Might change my target a little higher, but definitely need another 2 stone I think.

PositiveAttitude · 16/11/2016 09:32

Well done for getting straight back to it, Lemony
I did buy some new clothes, which I think look pretty darn slick on!!! Grin .... still no comments! Angry except for one friend, who guessed I was doing SW cos she saw me eating a HiFi bar during break at college. Every week now she asks how my "diet" is going. Still not said, Oh, I can see you've lost weight, just "how is it going?" Angry
Even DH, who has just returned from a month away has passed no comment - didn't ask how I did last night either, so I have not been able to say to anyone at all that I have lost 3 stone! I have left my lovely lilac certificate on the dining room table so maybe he will see it and comment then. most likely comment about me leaving my stuff lying around first!!
But in a way I am ok with that now. I am not doing it for other people, or for their praise, I am doing this for ME.

Plan for today:
B - fruit and yogurt
L- BBQ turkey salad (cheese HE a)
D - syn free shepherds pie shed loads of veg and almond wheatbran cake for pud (HE b 1/2)

College day, so syns will be snacks taken for the break. (HE b 1/2)

Frouby · 16/11/2016 09:35

Morning all

Just been to wi and lost 2.5lbs so finally got my 2 st award. Been a long bloody slog to get it is tell you! Got my 1.5st on 24 August so it's taken me nearly 3 months ffs.

But to be fair I haven't been as strict lately. Had a few maintains a few weeks off plan and a few family disasters along the way. Back on it now though and determined.

Today's plan

B. Coffee
L. Hm veg soup
T. Either shepherds pie or stew. Not decided yet but probably stew.

Groovester · 16/11/2016 11:58

Well done on all the recent reported losses guys. Struggling about what to make for dinner later today. I'm working a parents' evening at school so need to make something easy to suit kids and husband as I am out at 5 but it has to be easy to reheat for when I get in later on. I don't make separate meals - we all eat the same. Any thoughts?

LavenderRains · 16/11/2016 12:26

Well done losersStar I'm off to Wi later, fingers crossed.
Groovester have you got any microwave rice?
I do a quick stir fry with the rice, chicken, onion, mushroom, courgette, pepper, oxo cube. Everyone seems to like it.
Or jacket potatoes with various toppings?
I've just done a night shift and could quite easily go to the chippy tonightBlush but will probably do jackets.

Buttwing · 16/11/2016 12:38

Welcome BeckySmile
It's so bloody annoying when that happens lemony! Well done for getting back on though.

Well I lost 1.5lbs which I'm quite pleased with as this week has been a bit up and down (as usual!)
I'm now 2.5lbs away from my 3 stone award which I would really like for next week.

Buttwing · 16/11/2016 12:40

Frouby well done that's amazing, bet your so pleased to have your shiny sticker! I'm strangely obsessed with the stickers!Grin

milkshakeandmonstermunch · 16/11/2016 15:31

I lost half a pound this week. My first week. Gutted Sad. I have followed sw before so know the rules and kept an accurate food diary which consultant approved of. Just one of those things! She said as my baby is only 4 weeks old my body might be holding on to fat supplies?
