2lb is not bad Frouby, easily lost.

Good news on the BIL front. My MIL was very much like he is when she came out of a week in intensive care, it did wear off eventually. Hope it is the same for him.

Tried M&S skinny meatballs last might, they're very nice and tasty. You get 24 little ones, so have some left for today as well.

LavenderRains · 09/11/2016 14:00

mum what cute moulds! I used a medicine syringe, like you get in calpol to fill up the moulds. Easier than trying to pour it. I only ate 3 last night and that was enough so I'm looking forward to a couple when I get home from work.
frouby on the grand scheme of things I think 2lb is pretty good from what you've been through. Hope bil continues to improve.

Groovester · 09/11/2016 14:21

Hi everyone,

Quick question re: menstrual cycle. I've come on this week and wondering how it will affect any loss this week?
Still on plan here. Husband is too although he'd never entertain going to class. I've signed up with my best friend. It's great having people to share the experience with. You lot too, of course!

FaithAscending · 09/11/2016 14:42

Funny you ask Groovester. AF arrived here this morning too, my first since I joined. I'm hoping for a loss but probably not as much as most weeks. Mind you, I used to eat loads during my PMS and I wasn't too bad last week. Will let you know how I get on.

mumandsum · 09/11/2016 15:07

Frouby - well done you. It sounds like you have had an awful lot to deal with.

Lavender - these come with a pipette! I love a pipette!! 😂

B - 1 egg (fried with spray) 1 whlm toast (hxb) L/F spread, 1 whlm (hxb) toast L/F spread (both slices =1 tbspn = 2.5 syns) + raspberry jam (1 tspn 0.5 syn) + tea milk (Hxa)
L - sweet potato, salad, chicken thighs.

D - smoked salmon + salad.

Still haven't been shopping!!!

iklboo · 09/11/2016 18:19

Fake steak bakes, SW chips, peas & broccoli for tea. The stewed steak is enough to make 6 bakes so there's enough made to freeze for another couple of meals.

Mummyme87 · 09/11/2016 19:12

The pre WI starve 😖

ninnypoo · 09/11/2016 19:18

-1lb this week so I'm in the same position I was in 3 weeks ago! Oh well, at least it isn't going on. It's taster night tonight and I've brought a tub of fro yo cos I'm lazy

Groovester · 09/11/2016 19:37

Thanks Faith. I have weigh in tomorrow night so will update. It's only my first week and apart from a colossal fail on Friday night (KFC - don't ask!) I have been on plan (I think) and using very little syns. Fingers crossed!!

Mummyme87 · 09/11/2016 19:52

2lb gain.....

This is fine. My last weigh in was -2lb and I weighed in the morning and I usually weigh at night. Considering I have eaten so much, this is okay. Technically I have maintained in my head 😂

emwithme · 09/11/2016 20:01

Hi all. Don't know why I haven't logged in in a while, I think I'm getting far too nervous about tomorrow's weigh in - 1.5 lbs to go to target.

However, I noticed the thread had fallen off the "threads I'm on" bit so here I am again.

In 13.5 hours I will probably be wanting to chop my foot off or similar...

Mummy that's a maintain in my book!

Delighted to report that despite AF and doing nights at the beginning of the week, I've lost another 2lb! 9lb lost since I started 4 weeks ago. We had the Diet Coke chicken for tea when I got back (did it in the slow cooker), it was gorgeous!

Groovester · 09/11/2016 21:18

We had Diet Coke chicken last night for dinner. Whole family enjoyed it. I admit I was dubious when I first poured it in. Looked and smelled rank!

LavenderRains · 09/11/2016 21:48

Well done losersSmile
I'm not sure if this is a cheat?! Just done a 13 hour shift and had nothing organised to eat when I got in.
So, I have had beans on toast with grated cheese. Using my hex a and b from tomorrow. I'm not working tomorrow so will be more organised!

So I've had 2 sets of HE's and none tomorrow. That's okay isn't it? ?

FaithAscending · 09/11/2016 21:54

Lavender it's probably ok as a one-off but just be careful with the fibre, you don't want to miss it on too many days.

LavenderRains · 09/11/2016 22:27

True faith
It was the only way I could see to have something without too many syns that was quick. Was lovely too!
mum let us know how your sweet making goes!

icklekid · 10/11/2016 06:07

Groovester I know it sounds odd but I lose more when I have closer to 10 syns a day than less than 5. However your KFC may have done the trick this week 😉

Groovester · 10/11/2016 09:44

That's good to know ickle! I think I have maybe been a bit too strict re: syns but being new to SW I am panicking about what I'm eating. I stick to a lot of free food but then feel I'm eating too much so don't syn. I've been doing well in terms of mentally coping and feeling full although I struggled last night and ended up in bed earlier than usual to avoid snackage!
I think I will feel more confident once group leader looks at my food diary.
I am loving this thread - it helps to have somewhere to ask (silly) questions!!

emwithme · 10/11/2016 10:49

I've only been and gone and done it Grin Grin Grin 2 lbs off and hit my target!

Total loss (this time) 4 stones (and half a lb)
Overall loss (since heaviest) 7 stone 2.5 lbs (aka 100.5 lbs Shock)

Congratulations on reaching your target, em.
Hope in time you will share with us your maintaining tips: I struggle with that!

iklboo · 10/11/2016 14:16

Well done Em!!

Notreallyhappy · 10/11/2016 15:16

That's amazing EM.Halo

Might I join your lovely group??? I like to be with like-minded people.
I've been to sw- ww - yoyo, all the clubs and I need to get back to something before it gets out of hand.
I'd (need) like to get a stone off to be comfy in myself.
My meals today have been,
beans & hexb wm toast, plus an omelette & salad. Cottage pie & veg for supper.
I've got a 2-3 bottles of wine a week addiction that is a downfall in syns.Hmm
