I'm guessing you estimated the potato cakes jimijack! Wink

Today has been great, food-wise. I'm really happy being back on plan! I still have 10 syns left to play with too, which is unheard of at this time of day! I might crack open the frozen yogurt too.

ALemonyPea · 06/11/2016 21:53

So just reading the last support thread, on the 6 September I said I wanted to lose 2 stone by Christmas. So far I've managed 1 stone 4.5lb. Not too bad actually! Only 9.5lb to go, which I'm hoping I should do. If I don't lose this week, I'll be most upset.

OwlinaTree · 06/11/2016 22:23

Hi guys hope all have had good weekends. I've done ok, went to visit a friend over the weekend, she's doing sw too, so we had a slimming world meal. Did have a few Chinese appetisers and Thai crackers but only a few. Back on it today

B sausage, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, toast hexb
L fruit salad
S mug shot
D skinny m&s burger, sw chips, salad, fruit and yogurt. Yum yum yum!

I'm 2.5lb away from a stone off, but i don't think I'll do that this week, a decadent weekend really and lunch out planned for mon/Tues. Hey ho! I wanted to lose a stone by Christmas so I'm ahead of schedule I guess!

LavenderRains · 06/11/2016 22:42

We will all be smaller by Xmas! Hurrah!
I wonder why We wee a lot?? I like to think it's all the fat coming out but that's probably a load of toshConfused
There must be a reason tho.......

Buttwing · 06/11/2016 22:46

I don't know lavender but I'm up in the night to wee, it's like being pregnant!

ALemonyPea · 06/11/2016 22:57

It's all the water we drink I suppose, and the hidden liquids in fruit and veg.

Frouby · 07/11/2016 08:06

Morning all

I pee like a camel if I have been off plan then go back on. Especially if I give up the gin too. I think it's the salt in processed or fatty food that retains water. Then when we cut it out we get rid of it.

See i am not.overweight just soggy lol.

I had Chinese last night but it wasn't too bad. Chicken and mushrooms with boiled rice. Was all I had all day so should have gotten away with it.

Bil is slowly improving. Was semi awake most of yesterday and making some sense.

Not sure what we are eating today. Ocado coming later and have forgotten what I have ordered.

Wi Wednesday after 2 weeks off. Gulp. Just need 1/2 lb off for 2St award then can focus on 1/2 st more by Christmas!

LavenderRains · 07/11/2016 08:18

Hmm I've always drunk lots of water tho, and always got up at least once a night to wee. Now its 2 or 3 times.
good news about bil from by.
Looks like I will have to Wi at a different venue this week cos of work. Not keen as it won't be a full week of weight loss, plus I had a bad day Saturday.
oh well the scales will tell!!

OrianaBanana · 07/11/2016 09:12

I'll certainly be lighter at Christmas - or I will be unless Mabel is very late which she might well be. I'm looking forward to that loss on the scales - unfortunately it won't 'count' Sad. At my last weigh in I'd put on 10lbs in 5 weeks!

I must get back on the diet properly, I'm having serious issues that an increase in fibre would really help with (TMI sorry).

Mummyme87 · 07/11/2016 09:23

Fuck sake. I got to -11lb 2weeks ago and then had lots of family visiting plus kids birthday parties and christenings in the midst. I'm completely off plan and sad. I was really going for 2 stone off for Christmas but I'm sure I've buggered it up. Back on it today, hoping to claw back something in the next three days pre weigh in on Wednesday night.
Must plan again and do a proper shop.

Today will be..

B - 3 porky light sausages, scrambled egg, 1 slice 400g toast (half HeB and the rest free)
L - probably jacket potato with beans as I'll be out
D - maybe Cajun chicken as I have some chicken in already

MollyRedskirts · 07/11/2016 11:44

I don't know for sure about weeing a lot, although I suspect it's to do with glycogen stores being used in the liver, which happens before the body starts to use fat as fuel.

I DO know that we actually fart out most of the weight, because that's how the waste products from fat are dealt with.

MollyRedskirts · 07/11/2016 11:49

No, wait, I got that wrong. We breathe it out. Maybe it's only my husband that farts it out.

iklboo · 07/11/2016 11:58

2lb gain this week - but was off plan 2 weeks. Expected, and I did enjoy the celebrations but right back on it now.

B - huge bowl of fresh berries, fat free yoghurt, teaspoon of raspberry jam

L - mushrooms on toast (HEXB)

T - pork steak, jacket potato (scooped out & mashed with cheese - HEXA), asparagus, mushrooms & onions

S - bowl of peeled prawns

Snacks - Lindt chocolate square, Nude popcorn

Syns will be the chocolate, popcorn, jam & a Tassimo latte coffee. 10 altogether.

ALemonyPea · 07/11/2016 12:05

Haha Frouby at being soggy. Glad to hear your BIL has slightly improved. Hope he continues to do so.

I wish farting helped towards weight loss. Pretty parpy lately. Luckily the gym was empty yesterday as was popping off on the treadmill.

Bloody freezing here today. Have a jumper and thick sock on, and still chilly.

Missed breakfast this morning, dinner isnchicken and veg soup, and having M and S skinny meatballs with pasta for tea.

Buttwing · 07/11/2016 14:00

Good news frouby everything crossed for him.

Been on the straight and narrow this week. Weigh in on weds morning hoping for a decent loss after last weeks disaster!

B-banana and coffee
L-chicken and veg soup
D-pasta with beef in tomato sauce

mumandsum · 07/11/2016 15:26

Hello everyone.
I've just joined SW online. Looking for some support.
I'm completely new to SW and chat forums.

mumandsum · 07/11/2016 15:41

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Xx

Buttwing · 07/11/2016 15:57

Hi mum and welcomeSmile

Is there any particular bits you are struggling with? I found the first couple of weeks tricky as I was never sure what should be eating and was constantly referring to my book!
Have you joined a group or are you an online member?

Buttwing · 07/11/2016 15:58

Duh sorry just seen you are an online member!

mumandsum · 07/11/2016 18:24

Hi thanks.

Yes I'm online.
There is lots to take in!!
Im a bit miffed there isn't a forum on the SW site.
I'm hoping this will help though.
Just for advice and support. Any ones best tips. X

mumandsum · 07/11/2016 18:24

I'm going shopping tomorrow. Wish me luck.

ALemonyPea · 07/11/2016 18:28

Welcome Mum. It's an easy diet once you get your head round it.

Eat as much free food as you like, make sure there is a third speed foods on your plate, have between 5-15 syns a day, make sure you have one A choice and one B choice a day.

I do think the SW website should have a forum, with a few online consultants on to answer questions throughout the day, it would be very helpful.

Good luck!

Didn't have meatballs tonight, decided to make cheese and marmite muffins with scan bran and have the rest of the soup. All bloated now, but extremely stuffed. Haven't had any syns today, was going to have some froyo, but not going to happen. WI for me tomorrow, I had better have a loss.

Bumped into my aunt today, she can't get over how much weight I've lost, very supportive. Feeling chuffed.

Groovester · 07/11/2016 19:07

Interesting thoughts re: peeing.

Good day thus far (I think - still feel weird eating lots!)
B - 1/2 grapefruit and satsuma
L - 2x ryvita mutigrain (these are subs right?) with ham, tomatoes, beetroot and boiled egg.
S - 2 satsumas
D - Diet Coke chicken (what a revelation - while family enjoyed it.)

Toast for hex b later.
Prob neglected hex a apart from some skimmed milk in cups of tea...

Groovester · 07/11/2016 19:08

Syns* not subs, obviously!

ALemonyPea · 07/11/2016 19:14

If you have another ryvita, then it would be your HEB. But the. You'd have tomto forgo the toast. If you have toast for your HEB, then the ryvita would be 4 syns. Have some cheese on your toast if you do, for your HEA.
