That is fabulous news Positive YAY for the little fighter!

Well done Faith

Astounded to lose a lb this morning so only 1.5 lbs to go to target now, but didn't get Miss Slinky (by one vote apparently) and I know it's stupid (and probably a bit hormonal) but I want to sob and scream and stamp my feet. But I didn't and I haven't and I am just cracking on with the road to target. I have two weeks left on my countdown and I don't want to pay again...

Thanks Smile

emwithme it's a shame about the Ms Slinky. Don't let it derail you when you're so close to target though!

Frouby · 03/11/2016 14:04

Wow PA, that's fantastic news! I bet he goes from strength to strength now.

Feel very bloated today. Had fish and chips for tea last night as I was out from 8am u till 6pm doing various things and just couldn't face cooking.

Today's plan.

B.coffee
L. Poached eggs, ham and toast. Was yummy (heb)
T. Venison stew with a fuck ton of veg. Not sure how many syndrome but should be pretty low.

Need to open a bottle of.red wine for stew. Might have a glass as syns. Can't remember the last time I had red wine. And these days it's practically a health food isn't it.

Frouby · 03/11/2016 14:04

Ffs. syns not syndrome. Bloody poxy phone.

OrianaBanana · 03/11/2016 17:51

I'm cooking octopus risotto tonight. The octopus has grossed me out, not even sure I can bring myself to eat it. I thought I was unfussy but I realise now that doesn't extend to much seafood!

Scorbus · 03/11/2016 19:04

WI for me tonight, best I can hope for is a maintain I reckon.

FaithAscending · 03/11/2016 20:03

Oriana I don't really like seafood either! Sounds exotic though!

Good luck scorbus!

We had chilli for tea, it was delicious. I've almost batch cooked plenty of soup for lunches.

Scorbus · 03/11/2016 22:08

1.5 off Shock I'm amazed as it's been a shocker of a week!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeG0es · 03/11/2016 22:44

0.8kg off here, also surprised as I have eaten rather a lot of trick or treat sweets and was mainlining Pringles at the weekend Blush

ohmygodyouguys · 04/11/2016 09:02

Chuffed with myself! 2lb off last night, no idea how! 1st 8.5lb so far Grin

Sixpencenonethericher · 04/11/2016 11:05

Morning I weighed yesterday and lost a pound so that's 2 stone 1 pound
Good luck to weighers today

iklboo · 04/11/2016 11:26

It'll be a gain tomorrow for me after our anniversary weekend that lasted four days with lots of wine, lovely food, great company. I won't be too upset - draw a line under it and back on plan

Just had a huge bowl of fresh berries with 0% fat yoghurt for breakfast

Lunch will be a jacket spud with beans

Tea is chicken fillets on 60g wholemeal roll with cheese slice, salad & SW chips

Snack later will be a packet of peeled prawns

ALemonyPea · 04/11/2016 12:46

Well done losers.

Feeling really annoyed this week, I've finally been to the toilet, a few times, and no longer bloated, but weighed myself this morning and my weight hasn't changed. Think I'm plateauing, which is pissing me right off. Only lost 1lb in two weeks.

Made marmite and cheese scan bran earlier, it's lovely. Had it with butternut squash soup.

Frouby · 04/11/2016 13:54

Hello all

Finally feeling back in the vibe. Things still shit here. Bil still very ill and deteriorating. Sister doing good well, mum managing too.

I think we will lose bil in next few days.

Had venison stew yesterday. It was lovely. Very rich and needed the savoy cabbage I did with it. Very tasty though.

Made a sw quiche for lunch. Bacon and spinach. Had with salad. It was very tasty. Tonight is curry night tho so off plan.

Haven't wi for 2 weeks. Desperate for just a 1/2 loss to get my 2 st certificate so after curry tonight am sticking to plan. Wi on Wednesday.

Had my asthma review today. Nurse did usual BP, weight check and peak flow. Was complimented on weight loss AND my peak flow has improved too. Nice NSV to cheer me up.

alibongo5 · 04/11/2016 14:03

Oh Frouby how desperately sad. Such a young man with a young family. So cruel. But of course you don't need me to tell you that. But I couldn't not say anything even if the words as I write them seem trite and completely inadequate.

OwlinaTree · 04/11/2016 16:29

Frouby Flowers well done on the asthma improvement though.

Well done to the losers. Have had a little NSV myself, managed to get into one of my pairs of size 12 jeans! They are very tight, but they are on! Hooray!

I'm annoyed because the app still hasn't updated my latest loss on the welcome page since Tuesday! Grrrrr

imjessie · 04/11/2016 16:34

Hi .. can I join in ? I started when the kids went back after summer . I'm 16 pounds down .. another 11 maybe more to
Go .. im going to keep trying .

ALemonyPea · 04/11/2016 16:50

Frouby Flowers so sorry the outcome isn't good for your BIL. Well done for keeping on plan though and for the good asthma clinic.

MollyRedskirts · 04/11/2016 17:45

I'm sorry Frouby. I don't have the words. Flowers

Positive, I'm so glad you got to have a little cuddle! That's wonderful. Smile

I bit the bullet, contacted my old group and I'm going back to my meeting tomorrow morning. They're all so lovely and I've missed them. Our regular consultant is back now too after having her baby, so if I ever get the stand-in again, I'm just not going to be open in meetings in case she starts telling me again that my losses should have been better. Although I would love to tell her in private that her comments made me join Weight Watchers!

My eldest has ASD and has decided that he now likes pizza, which is a HUGE deal because he's very restricted in what food he'll eat. So we're having a film night and pizza buffet tonight, then it's back to basics for me from tomorrow.

I am soooooo glad to be back. Grin Blush

ALemonyPea · 04/11/2016 18:22

Well done on rejoining Molly.

My DS has autism, and he would live off pizza if he could. When he was 2 though, he lived off fish fingers, beans, myoghurt, banana and weetabix, for almost a year, somhard trying to get anything decent into them when they downright refuse.

AnnaForbes · 04/11/2016 18:44

Well done to all the losers Halo I lost 2 pounds so that's 15 in total for me and i got my stone award and I'm in the lower stonage bracket!

Frouby, terribly sad about bil. So sorry for you all. Flowers

Frouby · 04/11/2016 18:53

Thank you for the kind words. I know it's difficult to keep responding to someone's repeatedly sad news but thought I would update you all. He is stable again today. He is definitely fighting everything that is thrown at him and keeps defying the doctors rather grim prognosis which is good. I just hope that he pulls through. And if it's not to be that the end is soon for his families sake. His mum and dad are devastated understandably.

But I was pleased with my asthma review. All thelse health issues have certainly made me think I need to be as healthy as possible. Stopping smoking a few years ago was definitely the biggest thing I could have done. But getting my bmi down from obese to overweight and hopefully soon within the normal range will be a close second.

The asthma nurse was actually shocked by my peak flow. The best one was 500 which is above average for my age and height. It's always been around 340 to 380.

ALemonyPea · 04/11/2016 20:55

You don't need to apologise Frouby. I was going to ask yesterday how he was, but forgot.

Buttwing · 05/11/2016 12:11

Oh frouby what an awful situation I'm so sorry for you and your familyFlowers

I went to bonfire night last night and resisted all temptation I'd forgotten how good that feels when you wake up the next morning and remember how good you were!

MollyRedskirts · 05/11/2016 12:35

Well done on the asthma review Frouby, that's impressive. Also, I know what you mean about wanting the end to be quick if he's not going to recover. Fingers crossed that he WILL, though. Flowers

I went back to my meeting this morning. I've only gained 2lb since I last went, going off their scales. I honestly think most of that is down to the pizza buffet last night and I need a poo.
