Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

I used some jarred roasted peppers in a salad like Buttwings last week, but with hardboiled eggs as was a packed lunch. Now the jar needs using blended some into SW quiche, and been rolling them up with pastrami as a snack.
I'm SP as well today, and taking the advice to switch b choices about . I need to change something as pretty much maintaining.
B yogurt, heB pecan nuts, maple syrup 1 syn, chopped apple

L salad, pickled beetroot, gherkins, pastrami, baby corn, carrot, tomatoes ryvita heB2. Blue cheese triangles heA. 2 syns milk in coffee
D will be Bolognese with Courgetti and tbsp parmesan and an orange .

maygirl · 16/05/2016 15:41

Oops breakfast should have been quark not yogurt

Buttwing · 16/05/2016 16:03

May girl I bet peppers were really good in that salad, I need to go and stock up as I've run out they don't last long in this house!!

nomoreheroes · 16/05/2016 16:41

Lidl do huge jar of peppers for I think £1.79. Home Bargains sometimes have a smaller jar for less than a pound. I usually stock up on them, as well as pickles and beetroot when I'm there. Love a bargain! Grin

Buttwing · 16/05/2016 17:17

Ooh that's good to know no more, most of them are in oil the only one I've found without oil is the one with the Greek name beginning with "k"

ALemonyPea · 16/05/2016 17:31

I have the Lidl ones, mwhich are free and very yummy.

nomoreheroes · 16/05/2016 17:31

Yep, that's the one in Home Bargains in think. Lidl defo in vinegar. I've actually just blended some with FF greek yogurt and a few dashes of tabasco to drizzle over my chilli instead of my usual cheese and sour cream! It's very tasty.

maygirl · 16/05/2016 18:14

Smile the arla skyr high protein natural yogurt I had has nearly the same nutritional profile as the tub of quark in my fridge and more protein than my cottage cheese, so I'm going to decide its ok as P food

I'm going to make hummus with the jarred peppers and chickpeas for lunch tomorrow in my add more variety mission!

nomoreheroes · 16/05/2016 18:26

Oh crap, I forgot yoghurt wasn't allowed on SP but it was so little I will gloss over that one....

EmilyK83 · 16/05/2016 20:43

Just had a massive dinner! Homemade burgers with cheese (HexA), bacon and mushrooms, HexB roll, carrot chips and salad!

Evening all

My bastardin scales have broken. Arrrggghhhg. How am.I going to weigh myself 5 times a day if they don't frigging work. I know you aren't supposed to but I need to. And I can't get out tomorrow for any because I have a boiler.leak and a new tap being fitted.

Food today

B. Coffee
L. Museil and yoghurt
T. Sw bolognaise and extra veg. Feel really stuffed and bloated now. First time in a week or so I have had pasta.

Syns was alldagin.

No idea what tea will be tomorrow. I have some jacket potatoes lurking and various bits in the freezer I want to use up. Plenty of salad and some frozen veg. And I don't know what else! And it's weight in on Wednesday morning so want something light! Especially as my scales are dead lol.

I hate surprises.

Haven't reported back on my loss on Friday- 1.5 pounds off.

Does anyone else find their weight loss very slow? I am losing an average of a pound a week, and a lot of people lose a lot more.

I always stick to the plan. I'm wondering if it's my height- I'm 5'2".

waitingforwombat · 16/05/2016 21:16

Wow, those burgers look amazing. Off on holiday (UK) next week, so might try them on the BBQ. Dh loves the Hawaiin ones from SW magazine.

Completely off plan at weekend. Very restrained on Saturday, went to pancake house and had roasted veg pancake and managed to resist chocolate and nutella. However on saturday went to party and indulged in buffet - lots sandwiches/quiche and no salad to be seen! I was hungry (there all day) and there were no safe options, so ended up overindulging. Also lots of amazing cakes. I'm either very good and restrained or totally out of control!

Back on plan today - fruity porridge, tuna and bean salad, fruit salad, jackets with beans and lots grilled veg. My "weigh in" with mw on Thursady, so going to try and be low syn till then. Just need to keep avoiding treats at work...

waitingforwombat · 16/05/2016 21:18

Meant to say Emily - what do you have for lunch/breakfast to still have hexa and hexb left at dinner time?! I know I could have fruit and yog for breakfast, but I'd be starving by 10.30....

Buttwing · 16/05/2016 21:23

2lb off for me this week, I'm super happySmileSmile

maygirl · 16/05/2016 21:25

Well done Peachy . I'm super slow, about 1.5 pound a month at the moment Blush . I'm thrilled with a pound , I usually lose 0.5, then it's so easy to regain it .
I'm small, 5 foot and think I'm following recipes and eating portions for bigger people! I am quite active though so feel hungry for them! Are you also near target? It can be harder to lose the last few pounds . I'm 9 pounds away, many could lose that in a month but it's going to take me an age!

ALemonyPea · 16/05/2016 21:30

Well done losers!

WI for me tomorrow. I always have a knot in my stomach until I get weighed. No idea why. It's not like I'm going to get wrong if I don't lose enough.

I much prefer homemade burgers to SW ones. TBH, I've tried most of the slimming world frozen stuff and I'm less than impressed. The only thing I like is the chicken chow mein, and that would be as a last resort.

emwithme · 16/05/2016 22:22

peachy I'm averaging around 0.75 lbs a week at the moment. I do wish it was faster but it's not.

Today's food:

Breakfast: Breakfast muffins
Lunch: Roast beef salad, apple, pear, satsuma x 3
College snacks: Proper corn (4 syns), lemon drizzle cake (2 syns)
Dinner: Cajun chicken breast (1 syn), rice, salad. Satsumas.

HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

EmilyK83 · 16/05/2016 23:06

Oooh well done Butt!!

Waiting - breakfast's normally fruit and yoghurt (although today was an sp day, so had bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms) - lunch is normally a salad or picky bits out the fridge. Tend to use my HexA on skinny lattes and my HexB on Alpen Lights to save for the evening - don't often eat bread, so today was a rare day! And tbh, it didn't really do much for me...

EmilyK83 · 16/05/2016 23:07

Sorry Peachy, missed your post - well done on the loss!

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 17/05/2016 07:11

Been missing in action for a bit - weighed in this morning and have lost 1lb, so got my half stone.

My head has been all over, though - I need a really good week on plan to get back to where I was mentally.

EmilyK83 · 17/05/2016 08:33

Well done YoureAll! Nothing like a new sticker and certificate for a bit of motivation Smile

En route to weigh in, honestly have no idea how it's going to go today...

BasinHaircut · 17/05/2016 08:44

Good luck Emily!

So yesterday was about 50% on plan, so have had a crap start to this week too. My head just isn't properly in the game just now, I'm not getting enough sleep to maintain any resolve. DH and I are just snapping at each other too as we disagree on how to deal with it (DS Resosting bed time and night waking) and are both really tired. Plus I think I'm a bit of a PMT monster this week!

But hopefully today will look like this:
B - weetabix, skimmed milk and apple
L - leftover sausage, swede mash, peas, carrots and gravy (2syn)
D - not sure yet but maybe veg curry and rice
Sn - banana, Pom bears (5syns), kit Kat (5syns)

EmilyK83 · 17/05/2016 10:26

Half a pound off. Glad it's a loss - but it's my lowest loss so far so a bit disappointed...

BasinHaircut · 17/05/2016 10:33

It's a loss Emily, celebrate them all I say!
