Caught baby lurgy so I feel as sick as a pig Envy it started during lunch. Should do me some good for weigh in next week though. Silver linings and all that!
B - chickpea eggah HeA
S - 3 x babybel light HeA
L - half a leftover pastitso (1.5 Syns)
Nothing else except water Sad

emwithme · 22/01/2016 22:04

I don't swap my HEA for a coffee pod but I have changed which pod I use. I used to have the latte which was 4.5 syns. I now have the cappuccino which is 2 syns, so I can have 2 coffees instead of one.

I know I shouldn't be disappointed with the 1.5 I lost this week, but I really am. It was star week I fucking hate that name last week and I STS, and having been 100% on plan all fucking week I thought I was in for a nice big loss, but no. Oh well, I am sticking to the plan again this week and shall see what next Thursday morning brings.

I did get my Bronze body magic certificate this week (no sticker...boo!) and am starting on my Silver. It definitely helps having the exercise bike in the living room - no place elsewhere to put it until we move. Today I cycled my way through half of Tattoo Fixers on catch up and did 12.5 km in half an hour (and wasn't dead at the end of it, which surprised me).

Having an SP day today (but only one set of Bs):

Waitrose free latte (HEA)
Brunch: Bacon, omelette, beans, mushrooms, tomato. Tassimo cappuccino (2)
Snacks: Apple, satsumas
Dinner: Salmon fillet, carrot, runner beans, cauliflower, broccoli. Muller Greek coconut yoghurt (frozen, 1/2 syn).

Hifi bars (HEB)

annatha · 22/01/2016 22:16

Why do Aldi have to pack their chocolate rice cakes in 3s? I can't leave one in the packet. Glad I was only on 0.5 syns before binging on them.

giraffesarefab · 22/01/2016 22:24

I lost another 2lb yesterday, so 7.5lbs in 2 weeks, pleased but didn't drink enough last week so I'm on it this week!

Well done everyone.

calzone · 22/01/2016 22:25

B.... Fruit and yoghurt
L....butternut squash soup, chickpea pasta salad
D....chicken vegetable stir fry

Syns.....crispy rolls 6 syns, hifi 3s, French fries 3.5, Mayo 2s

BirdingWidow · 22/01/2016 23:19

18 syns today - oops. And that's after about 30 yesterday. I normally really stick but am having a topsy turvy week. Off on my travels for work tomorrow, 6 days of hotel food in the Middle East. It isn't going to be good, I can only do damage limitation.

Lots of you are doing really well!

Ain626 · 22/01/2016 23:52

B - nothing. Really not a breakfast person.. Confused
L - left over chicken salad from yesterday.
D - salmon and new potatoes (quick and easy, and I got home late).

Snacks - pineapple. Muller.

FoofFighter · 23/01/2016 05:30

One of these days I'll sleep through...
Can't even blame it on a baby as she's 2.5 and not even here tonight anyway!

Meal plan for Saturday:

B (after early wi!) HEXB two Alpen light, yogurt, grapes, apple
L Subway ham and turkey salad bowl, HEA on a latte
T roasted chicken breast, roasted veg, oxo "gravy" with onions

Haven't got DD and boyf has his lad for first time since Xmas this weekend (he was away for work training) so leaving them to some quality time together - thought briefly about nipping into nearest big city after WI at 930am, but then would end up in KFC!

So instead have planned out a route to walk, stopping into town on way in for a Subway salad bowl, then heading out into the country (but still on a main road with a pathway) nice 7 mile walk! Then stop off at the library on the way home to get some recipe books out.

Could get into this walking malarkey - did 6 miles Friday :)

blondiep14 · 23/01/2016 09:18

Still waiting for period to arrive and feeling achey and bloated but I tentatively ordered size 12 jeggings from DP and they arrived today. And they fit!!!!!!! A few lbs down and they'll look even better. Grin

Welliesandwings · 23/01/2016 09:54

After fish and chips last night, which I couldn't finish and really wasn't worth it I'm back on plan this morning. Omlette with mushrooms, lean bacon and a slimming world sausage. The sausage was a taste experience I would never like to repeat. I think I'd rather syn proper sausages.

mangofizz · 23/01/2016 12:09

Another 1 lb off this morning (I weigh every day). I know 2lb a week is considered a good loss but I'm soooo hoping for 3, sounds so much better!

Having the Iceland chicken tikka tonight, any ideas on a low syn naan? Half thinking of using a pitta as my hexb and maybe synning another

ChessieFL · 23/01/2016 13:20

1/2 lb off today, 5lb to target. Not sure I'll get there in 4 weeks which is my aim. Today not so good so far - bought a drink and didn't realise until too late I'd picked up full sugar version in error - 7.5 syns wasted on a drink!

BendydickCuminsnatch · 23/01/2016 13:40

Me and DH have decided we need an Indian tonight. Will do my own rice but any suggestions for a main dish? Already had 3 syns today so 12 to play with. Thanks!

BasinHaircut · 23/01/2016 14:00

I am ill! Cold has given me a sinus infection and I'm in pain. Feeling sorry for myself but sticking with it today as weigh in day is tomorrow..

B - SW pancakes with banana
L - stir fry veg, noodles and HM teriyaki sauce (couple of syns for honey probably)

For dinner I'm going to try to make Turkey enchiladas, and substitute savoury pancakes for the tortillas to make it low syn. Hoping it will taste ok!

ChessieFL · 23/01/2016 14:53

Bendy I think chicken dhansak or lamb rogan josh aren't too bad.

Pisghetti · 23/01/2016 16:01

My appetite is almost back.

B - wholemeal toast (half HeB) with pumpkin butter (0.5 Syns)
L - wholemeal toast (other half HeB) with poached egg, 2 x quorn sausages and beans (no speed - naughty)
S - small slice leftover birthday cake Blush
D - either quorn shepherds pie with swede topping or lasagne with the cauliflower sauce if I can gee myself up enough to make it.....

FoofFighter · 23/01/2016 17:19

pumpkin butter sounds lovely, what is it?!
Glad you're feeling better.

WI this morning - 2lbs off, more than happy with that as usually on the third week of the month it should be * week and I have a crap loss or m.

Finding it increasingly difficult to have a treat - I just don't want one! Usually have an uncounted thing or two after weigh day, doesn't seem to affect my losses.

Walked all round Tesco earlier looking for a naughty nibble and ended up coming away with...

A chilli bread roll...

And wait for it, have just had the most naughty treat of....

baked oats muffins with grated carrots and salted caramel essence ...

Pah.

B heb 2x Alpen light, an apple
L: said chilli roll with HEA cheese and onion slices, a yogurt
T:roasted chicken breast and mixed roasted veg, 1.5 gravy

Snacks: baked oats muffins 6 latte 6

FoofFighter · 23/01/2016 17:20

have no idea on syns for the roll btw

FoofFighter · 23/01/2016 17:20

And didn't do my walk either!

Welliesandwings · 23/01/2016 17:33

Has anybody bought the SW cookery books? Any good?

BasinHaircut · 23/01/2016 17:34

I have a budget family cook book. It's quite old so don't know if still available but I use it and the meals are nice

BasinHaircut · 23/01/2016 17:35

I mean a SW book obvs!

Heyheyheygoodbye · 23/01/2016 17:46

B - scrambled eggs with salmon flakes on toast hexb, with cherry toms and a clementine. 2 syns spread.
L - ham, Pops 4 syns, more cherry toms. Followed by a bowl of pineapple and raspberries, and a muller.
D - we're making pasticcio Grin will have with a big salad. Might have a glass of wine.

DanyellasDonkey · 23/01/2016 17:47

Am trying really hard this year. Last year I lost 10lbs and then put it all back on over Xmas and gave up.

So far I have lost 9lbs, put 3 on over Xmas, and lost another 2 and am determined to keep going this time.

Not going to classes, just doing it by myself so fingers crossed Smile

annatha · 23/01/2016 18:19

2.5lb off so got my 1/2 stone award today. Feeling a bit daunted by the amount I need to lose, nearly 5 stone before I'm out of the obese bmi range. Still, its a start. Getting really fed up with family and friends saying "ohh you don't need to lose weight/just have a tiny bit/can't you have a little treat?" Etc.
