I'm making a fish pie tonight, any good recipes? I've already used my HExA so no cheese but could syn skimmed milk I guess. Or should I get hold of a cauliflower??

Try the cauliflower! I really wasn't sure it was going to be any good but it was nice. I think you need to disguise the flavour a bit but fish should do that just fine!

I've made that before...there wasn't hundreds of sauce, but it tasted really nice.

gah, I gained 1.5 - basically yo-yoing back and forward.

Must start to be more honest about those bites of this and sips of that and start measuring things like milk.

Ive had major sugar cravings this week, which has not helped....dont really have star weeks any more, but possibly a surge in hormones? (hopeful).

Well done on the weight losses this week and hang on in there everyone.

Messed up a bit yesterday on syns, DD off school recovering from vomiting bug and just wanted crackers, absentmindedly joined her , plus changed dinner plan so was no longer on SP, after having 2 Bs so had to syn one. Decided DD needed chicken noodle soup for dinner!
B o/n oats, raspberries. HeB .HeA milk in coffees
L bean dip and cucumber
Cracker 2syn, ryvita 2.5syns . Calzones mincemeat(2syn)wholemeal thin (5syn) with quark cream recipe, lush but was meant to be heB2

Orange, banana

Veg packed chicken chow mein noodle soup 1 syn .
Special k bar 4.5 syn with coffee
Was starving and freezing after 10k run .

Will be better today Smile

Fanny.....I'm terrible at measuring and counting milk.

Think I need to measure and weigh my cheese and then syn the milk.

I made the Caribbean pepperpot stew for dinner last night and had loads left over for lunch absolutely delish and like all stews nicer the second day !

Ohh that looks good WeShould! Saw the recipe and wondered what it would be like. Trying a few new things this week and 2 SP days. Would like to loose 2lb this week and then can retain my monthly 1lb average so with drinking more water and still off the booze that should give me the result I would like.

B; Late breakfast with Quorn sausages with HEB toast and tea
Still to full for lunch so had an apple
Snack and trying to work out what to have later, plenty of choice but hmmmm

Does anyone swop milk allowance for coffee pod from machine?

At the moment if havnt used my cheese allowance I havnt been having any milk just syn the pods. 2.5 each. So most days that's 5 syn. I'm trying to stay under 10 so dosnt give me a lot to play with.

250 ml semi skimmed is 125 calories and fat 4.5 carbs 12

2x light coffee pod is 110 calories fat 1.0 carbs 16g

What do you think does 3.5 saving in fat trump the extra 4g of carbs???

Should I swop one or none! Had deal first week put on a pound so trying hard to get it right

akire I think part of the HExA has to be the calcium content and not sure you'd get that much from coffee pods? Smile

They are milky coffees so about 80% rehydrated milk and 20% splash of filter coffee

The A choices are calculated on calories, fat content and calcium...if you could use the milk pods, they'd be listed as an A choice.

I use coffee pods and actual milk, I just heat the milk up.

If I made an omelette with ham, mushroom, tomato and my HEA cheese would it be SP?

L - tomato and bean soup, ham rolls to dip, sw pasta quiche
T - skinni lorne sausage, potato cake, poached eggs, mushrooms and onions 4 syns for oil as only got coconut stuff in

hea had a latte in Starbucks

making a batch of weetabix muffins for breakfast tomorrow after 930 weigh in, might make extra to have tonight for supper as have some syns to use and nothing remotely naughty to use them on!

It's evening snacks time but I've had all my syns so desperately grazing on free foods! Confused

B - shreddies with milk (HExA & B), satsuma, coffee
L - Itsu pot (1.5), pear, apple
D - ocean pie (thank you tabulahrasa it was lovely, plenty of sauce Smile) (0.5) with broccoli carrots and cauliflower
S - hifi (3), caramel freddo (4.5) h/b egg, ham, banana, satsuma

L- smoked haddock pate (1 syn) 2 ryvita (3 syns) carrots, tomato, scallions and cucumber. Some fruit
D- roast ham with roast root veg and fennel and sweet potatoes

Syns- sugar 1, lunch 4, rancheros- am estimating 5 and hi fi x 2 6- total 16 oops
