Am struggling a bit this week.

All meals are SW friendly but am stupidly snacking on stuff in between.....

Need to get a grip.

AvaLeStrange · 13/02/2016 22:59

Well done annatha!

Today wasn't too bad. Had an off plan day but tried to be sensible.

B - fruit & fat free fromage frais

Party buffet lunch/dinner - chicken leg (skin removed), half a baked potato, rocket, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, triangle of egg mayo on granary, triangle of roast beef & horseradish on granary.

2 coffees, 2 teas with Hex milk

Syns - 2 cocktail size sausage rolls, small portion pavlova, slice birthday cake, glass of wine.

Highlights hot choc, few grapes, half a dozen BBQ Fridge Raiders.

Not perfect but considerably better than a typical get together at the in laws, which would have involved considerably more sandwiches & sausage rolls and several glasses of wine!

calzone · 13/02/2016 23:10

Tomorrow will be....

B....magic pancakes with melon

L....oh dear.....Indian buffet

D.....soup

OrianaBanana · 14/02/2016 08:02

Must try quarmite!!

So stressed out by pregnancy (seems strange calling it that as I'm only 4 weeks) I have been eating my son's coco pops Sad (been bleeding for a week) - hopefully all will be resolved soon.

calzone · 14/02/2016 08:59

Take care of yourself Oriana.

If you need coco pops, you need coco pops.......

Some things are more important than losing weight.

OohMavis · 14/02/2016 09:15

I've had a very, very bad two days. Fish and chips, white bread, smokey bacon crisps... I stopped counting after a while.

Back on it today Blush

B: 3 soft-boiled eggs, two slices toast HEB1. 1tbsp salted butter (5.5 syns, so worth it)

L: I think I'll have a jacket potato.

D: SW lasagna, salad and veg.

S: Fruit.

Oriana I agree with Calzone. Give yourself a break, and another bowl of cocopops Flowers

loopsylala · 14/02/2016 09:29

Lost 1 1/2 in first week. Was hoping for more but had a party yesterday which I think contributed. Next week might not go so well as I'm away for a few days but we will see, will do my best to food optimise.

BasinHaircut · 14/02/2016 09:38

oriana Flowers take care.

Yesterday was on plan breakfast and lunch, then I went to a baby shower and had about 5 bits of buffet food (sausage roll, spring roll, breaded mushroom, onion ring, slither of pizza) but stayed away from the cake.

Dinner at a friend's was a chicken pasta thing, but I served myself a small portion with lots of salad. BUT I took dessert and ended up making a non-SW friendly chocolate orange bread and butter pudding. Had a reasonable sized piece with a scoop of ice cream.

This morning back on plan and I'm trying the ready brek pancakes.

BasinHaircut · 14/02/2016 10:16

OMG that was DELICIOUS!

Blitzed up my allowance of porridge oats, added an egg and a touch of milk. Fried off in spray oil, for about a minute on each side. Drizzled 1tbsp maple syrup and chopped a banana over the top. Just a couple of syns for the syrup.

EmilyK83 · 14/02/2016 11:26

Hope everything's ok Oriana xx

Slight indulgence for dessert tonight, but being good apart from that,..

B - actually, not that good. Missed breakfast as my satsumas were mouldy :(

L - jacket potato with beans and HexA cheese, plus a salad

Non-mouldy satsumas to snack on this adternoon(!)

D - seafood! Homemade tuna fish cakes, mixed seafood, crab, smoked salmon - all with SW chips, spinach and salad

Dessert will be 3 Asda scotch pancakes (12) with sweetened fat free yoghurt, light aerosol cream (0.5) and fruit!

Alpen Lights as today's HexB - either that or a Kingsmill thin with dinner....

OrianaBanana · 14/02/2016 11:27

Thank you Smile waiting to be seen at OOH surgery now despite grumpy call handler at 111 saying they wouldn't do anything. I have to try! x

It's my birthday! I am having a day off plan today.

Brunch: Bacon (with fat and rind still on), mushrooms, fried eggs (in oil): 10 syns (or thereabouts)
Dinner: Waitrose special if I have to cook, at least I'm cooking something I want
Balsamic onion and cheese tartlets: 15 syns
Beef wellington with new potatoes (and butter), asparagus: 30 syns plus 2 for butter
Salted caramel tarts: 19 syns

plus half a bottle of red wine and a couple of gin and tonics.

And I don't care. I am tracking the syns simply because I can. I can eat whatever I want to today, it's my birthday

stumblymonkey · 14/02/2016 13:57

Hi everyone

I thought I would join the thread as I'm going to my first SW meeting on Tuesday night.

Looking forward to finding out all about it...my friend has lost 2.5 stone since Sept.
I'm 17st 3lbs now and would like to be 13 stone or just under.

First goal weight is 15stone 10lbs which takes me back to what I weighed when I met DP.

BasinHaircut · 14/02/2016 14:31

Fingers crossed for you oriana

Welcome stumbly

You will love SW you an eat such delicious things and lose weight.

Lunch is a bit of a mish mash of beef flavoured savoury rice with cheese (HExA), lettuce, cucumber and peppers. Tastes nice though.

Dinner is going to be sausages (the LF Tesco ones), mash, carrots, peas and HM onion gravy.

Katenka · 14/02/2016 15:52

Thanks for you Oriana

Happy birthday Em!

Today against been weird. I was lucky enough to have a four hour training seminar with a world champion in my sport.

So lunch was at 10.30.

butternut squash pizza with Tom purée and cheese (HA)

Dinner will be a Sunday dinner. Chicken, carrot and swede mash, broccoli and mash.

Snacked on fruit while training and have my hi fi bars as a b choice.

Weight in tomorrow. Quite nervous as I lost 6lb last week (first week) hoping for a decent loss, but worried it will only be small.

How I wish I could loose 6lbs a week in a healthy way every week Grin

FoofFighter · 14/02/2016 15:54

Thanks for the good lucks - was +1.5lbs which was rather surprised at tbh! Thought it'd be less than that, I hadn't been that bad the previous week, and been 95% this week

oh well ho hum, had my usual Saturday stuff of wine and treats and a small pizza with olives on and back on plan today.

B half hexb 1 weetabix crumbled over chopped apple and muller light
L grilled bacon medallions, plum tomatoes, mushrooms and scrambled egg
T LM red onion sausages, steam potato, carrots, sprouts, 1.5s gravy

Snacks: Muller zingy orange greek yog 0.5 (really really bitter!!), plums, quarmite and carrot sticks slice toast other half hexb with probably more quarmite on!!

oriana hope all is ok xx

OrianaBanana · 14/02/2016 17:35

Thanks everyone! To cut a long story short there was a little drama but I saw someone, I'm still pregnant for the moment, doughnuts with pink icing and chips consumed Confused but I feel I've done everything I can so I'm more at peace xx

Back on it now

D - steak with SW chips and SW pink peppercorn sauce, tomatoes and mushrooms, strawberries for dessert.

And well done Charley, that's a great loss!

AvaLeStrange · 14/02/2016 18:58

Glad all's OK Oriana.

Hope I get a result like that on Tuesday Charley!

I feel like I've eaten really well today and managed to stay on plan (slightly over on the syns but nothing catastrophic), although I've just realised I've not had my HEx bread option.

B - large banana as got up late

L - Ham, celery with garlic & herb soft cheese, tomato, cucumber, beetroot
Bag of Skips, Kallo chocolate rice cake (7.5)

Pear & Jaffa cake (2.5)

D - lean roast beef, SW roast potatoes, carrots, runner beans & broccoli, small yorkie pud (2.5)

longlivetheking · 14/02/2016 19:11

Fab news Oriana Thanks

Kim82 · 14/02/2016 19:15

I've had a super shit food day today.

B - lemon muller light Greek yoghurt

L - 2 packets of hula hoop pufts and 4(!) thin dairy milk bars

D - roast chicken with mixed veg and sprouts

I have a feeling I may regret my lunch decision at weigh in tomorrow...

cowboylover · 14/02/2016 19:20

Good news Oriana

I know what you mean Calzone, I am the same. Getting annoyed at myself now I have gone up and down again for the last 2 months and still in the same stone bracket not really going anywhere.

I feel dreadful today and think I am coming down with the flu, my DD has even gone to stay at Mums because I didn't feel like I could look after her. But I also need to remind myself that cake is not a cure.

Stress eating with my court date coming up soon is the worst but trying to write an SOS log with my For and Against loosing more weight so I hope it helps drive me on.
