Also going to do next week's meal plan today so I can write my shopping list later. I'm ready enjoying my Saturday morning stroll round the supermarket buying lots of healthy stuff lately.

Welliesandwings · 11/02/2016 08:52

Well done Calzone. I've put 1lb on this week. I can't say I'm surprised after the takeaway and waffle fest. It'll be gone next week.

WeShouldOpenABar · 11/02/2016 09:01

Well done Calzone!!

I made my weekly goal and lost 2 pound!! Thats 8 and a half pound altogether so got my half stone and made it into the 10's!

Havent seen 10 in a while , it feels great!

I know I have a big night Saturday but I will stay on plan surrounding that and try to hold on to the loss for a STS next week.

EmilyK83 · 11/02/2016 10:42

Well done calzone and other losers! Grin

I'm a woman on a free food mission today. Even going to walk to a supermarket that's miles away this afternoon to get my body magic in!!

Today will look something like this:

B - fruit and herbal tea

L - courgetti with spicy prawns

D - homemade burgers with HexA cheese and HexB roll (and maybe a bit of bacon...) plus roasted butternut squash and salad

The supermarket I'm walking to is Sainsbury's, never normally shop there. Anyone have any recommendations for own brand stuff that's great for SW?

BasinHaircut · 11/02/2016 12:59

Today's food:

Post-weigh-in: 3 satsumas, apple
Lunch: Mixed salad, prawns, hard boiled egg.

Pre-college: HM soup
Dinner: Tuna, rice, roasted med veg.

Snack: Hifi bars (HEB)

Charley lovey - I hate to say this and piss on your chips but I really think you're setting yourself up for a fall trying to lose 3 stones in 2 months is going be bloody difficult. Healthy average weight loss is 1-2lbs a week. You have 8 weeks.

Thant's a heck of a lot of pressure to put on yourself sweetie x

Going back to read rest of thread now but just wanted to say that before I forgot.

FoofFighter · 11/02/2016 15:28

Help! Have been invited to a friends for dinner in Saturday and I have to take pudding. What can I make that is sort of ok? DH hates coffee so tiramisu is out!

AvaLeStrange · 11/02/2016 21:03

today still not firing on all cylinders due to stinking cold and shopping not arriving until after work but think I've done ok.

Porridge for breakfast - I always make it with all water as I prefer it to milk.

Lunch - tin of Baxter's French Onion soup

Dinner - SW chicken tikka masala which was gorgeous and all free! We had 5 syns worth each of mini puppadoms and I made a virtually syn free mint dip with 3tblsp fat free Greek yoghurt and a teaspoon each of mint sauce and granulated sweetener. My DD loves her mint dip and I figured it would take the edge off the lack of naan bread!

Had an orange & prepped a salmon fillet for tomorrow with a marinade which I think will have a couple of syns (stem ginger syrup & orange juice, although I did eat the rest of the orange so hoping that might cancel it out) - but it's a hairy dieters recipe so shouldn't be too bad. Will have with loads of stir fry veg & rice.

Am so glad I invited DD to come along and she's getting into it too. I sneaked a peak at her book as I didn't know how much she actually weighed and it's confirmed that I've made the right choice.

We're signing up for the 12 weeks offer, by the end of which she will hopefully be where she needs to be. Happily it coincides with the opportunity for a girly day out before she does her SATs so thinking of treating her to a day out shopping in London and some new summer clothes.

We went before Xmas with DH in tow which was a bloody nightmare so will be nice to just be the two of us so we can dither round clothes, make up and smellies at our own pace Smile.
