A gain too after a meal out . 1.5Ibs doesn't seem so worth it now ...

Worried as have DDs bday party coming up, the house is full of sweets, I will be baking and cooking high syn goodies . It's going to be really hard. Better start saving some syns!

Sounbelievablydull · 03/02/2016 22:40

I am still not sure what I am doing tbh, I know I'm being very dim!
Breakfast nil
Lunch one Alpen bar 90 cals
Grapes lots of
Dinner chicken tomatoes ckickpeas pasta

I feel quite hungry and fed up will be weighed tomorrow and feel as fat as ever

cowboylover · 03/02/2016 23:13

Realised now I have hardly eaten any speed folds today and again more carbs! Weigh in tomorrow and all I need is a loss to get in a new weight bracket. I have been this close before and then blew it getting nervous and put 3lb on so I didn't want to make the same mistakes but might have already. We will see!

B; HEB wrap with bacon and egg
L; Chilli and Rice
D; Broccoli and Cauliflower cheese, pork steaks and SW chips
Snacks; fruit and apples

tabulahrasa · 04/02/2016 00:09

"I've heard some people disagreeing with this on here, but I can't see the difference between a muller corner or a mini curly wurly as long as they are within your Syns."

But they're not because the syns for a corner yoghurt are much lower than for something like chocolate, a yoghurt has a free food allowance and it is more filling than a curly wurly, which is why it has less syns.

maygirl · 04/02/2016 06:48

sounbelievably you could ask your consultant if you can sit through the new members talk again if you are going to a group .
There's loads more you can eat if hungry. Your dinner looks good Grin
The alpen bar is syns but if you switch those to Alpen light bars 70cal) you can have 2 as your healthy extra B . Hope you get a good result at weigh in

Hackedabove · 04/02/2016 07:46

I'm blaming my gain on the jeans I was wearing, normally go in gym kit, although weighed in jeans on first day... So only 1lb loss in 4 weeks Blush

I think this is definitely going to be a marathon not a sprint.

Although my tummy feels slimmer. Really need to find the tape measure and measure too.

WeShouldOpenABar · 04/02/2016 09:02

pound down which is nice as I was drinking pints on the weekend for my birthday, did stay within the boundaries food wise though.

I'm .5 pounds off a half a stone , i hope to have a greater loss this week though as I'm being treated to a valentines meal out the following week and want to gain some ground. I am astounded just how much I'm enjoying all the veg so I'm hoping to up that this week and SP to a 2 pound loss.

Fingers crossed anyway. I'm never consistently lost for four weeks in a row , its small amounts but its slowly adding up and I'm constantly worried the rug is going to be pulled from under me!

BasinHaircut · 04/02/2016 09:14

Today is going to be tricky as I'm out and about with work and so I have no idea what I'm going to have for lunch. Can't really take anything with me so I'm at the mercy of the local shops! I think there might be a 'build you own salad' place close by though so will try to find that.

I'm also getting together with some friends later and there was talk of frozen pizzas or the possibility of a takeaway. BUT I managed to convince them to let me make a Spag Bol and bring it along instead, so able to keep dinner on plan at least. They won't know they are getting SW meal!

Kim82 · 04/02/2016 09:27

Can I join please? You all seem to be doing really well! I've been doing SW for 4.5 weeks now and have lost 13.5lb so far so it seems to be working for me. I still have 3.5 stone to lose but it's been a good start.

I seem to be really struggling this week though and am craving all the bad food I shouldn't be eating. I'm hoping if I write my daily menus on here it might help me stick with it to try and get my 1 stone award at weigh in on Monday!

Today I plan on having:

B - 2 weetabix with chopped banana

L - either ham or tuna salad (salad includes lettuce, cucumber, tomato, chopped pepper, celery, sweetcorn, pickled onions, pasta twirls)

D - paprika chicken, SW chips, mixed veg and cabbage

Snacks - fruit with fat free natural yoghurt, cucumber sticks, more fruit

I've not decided what to have for my syns yet but I'm sure I'll think of something!

OohMavis · 04/02/2016 09:41

Mugshots are half price in co-op at the moment, I love the tomato and herb ones so have stocked up.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 04/02/2016 10:13

Yesterday I was 14 stone 10, today (I NEVER weigh between weigh ins but just did in impulse) I was 14 stone 8.8! My mum is convinced my 3.5lb gain this week was because the scales were moved last week... She thinks they would have been knocked off their accuracy and re-calibrated... I doubt it but weird that they're reading differently today. They are expensive, new digital ones so should be reliable! So hopefully they are.

BasinHaircut · 04/02/2016 10:19

Well there you go then bendy! If the scales have been recalibrated then they will probably give a different reading than they would have normally.

You'll never know what they might have said though, so draw a line under last week and concentrate on this week.

#NFIFeb!

BendydickCuminsnatch · 04/02/2016 10:33

Do you think that happens then? With the scales I mean.

OK I feel a bit more positive.

What does the hashtag mean? No Fuckingabout In Feb? Grin

Mummyme87 · 04/02/2016 10:35

2.5lb off last night. 7.5lb off in total in 4weeks. I'm happy with this. Still a long way to go. My target is 10st 7lb. I started at 16st 1lb and currently at 15st 7.5lb 😊

I'm hoping for a good 2lb off this week.

skyeskyeskye · 04/02/2016 10:44

I had my first weigh in last night and lost 2.5lb. I hoped it would be more as have so much to lose, but did fall of the syn wagon a couple of times.

skyeskyeskye · 04/02/2016 10:44

*off!

BasinHaircut · 04/02/2016 11:01

Yes bendy I think that will probably be like using completely different scales.

Yes no fuck it feb! We are not allowed to say 'fuck it' and have a splurge in February if we have a gain/maintain. It's a pact to stick with it for this whole short month Grin

Pisghetti · 04/02/2016 12:17

Only managed an arla protein pot so far. 1 Syn. I'm hungry but struggling to swallow still Hmm stupid throat. Will have a go at some soup with a wholemeal roll later. I'm going to group to weigh in tonight but I probably won't stay. Wondering if I should take food in for the taster or not bother.

Welliesandwings · 04/02/2016 12:41

Another 4lb off for me this week making it a total of 13lbs in 4 weeks. I'm having between 10 and 15 syns per day and some days when I've thought I've probably blown it and made myself fill out the tracker and more often than not I'm still within my allowance. I tried quark this week and used it instead of sour cream on top of chilli, it was lovely and there wasn't much difference to be honest.

Welliesandwings · 04/02/2016 12:45

Too many 'ands' in that sentence.

Nutter123 · 04/02/2016 13:14

How is everyone today?

Missed breakfast at work today. Too many meetings.

B-So had coffee and a banana
L-chuncky veg soup with pesto and wholemeal croutons.

Feeling ravenous today.

BasinHaircut · 04/02/2016 13:25

Well I couldn't find the salad shop, but got a grilled chicken and salad wrap from a street food vendor.

Probably had 15-20 syns in it but mainly the wrap. Then a bit of hummus. Fairly happy with that. Dinner of Spag Bol and a side of broccoli will all be free and no other syns today. Tomorrow will be fairly low syn to compensate.

Well done everyone on the losses!

emwithme · 04/02/2016 14:16

WI this morning and lost a lb. Bit disappointed with how the year's gone (I still haven't got all of my Christmas gain off) but I am fully partaking in No Fuck It February so I didn't come home and eat the contents of the Norty Shelf but stayed to group, had some lovely free food tasters (including a mango chicken thing that was delicious) and had soup for lunch (even though my builders were all eating pot noodles and crisps when I went to check up on the progress at the New House!)

Today's food:

Breakfast - mixture of free foods at taster morning.
Lunch: HM roasted vegetable soup. Satsumas.
Snack: Mug shot (1), cherry tomatoes.
Dinner: Sea bass (bream? Seriously, I should know by now which one it is, I eat it twice a week, ffs), new potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, brocolli.

Snack: Hifi bar (HEB)

EmilyK83 · 04/02/2016 14:26

Well done to all the losers!! Grin

Today I'm trusting the other half to cook for the first time since I joined SW 4.5 weeks ago. Just seems easier for me to cook rather than risk him ballsing things up by adding oil or not weighing healthy extras etc...today I'm being brave!

So, today is looking like this...

B - Alpen Light (half HexB), 2 satsumas

L - see photo: carrots, celery, beetroot, gherkins, radishes, Chinese chicken slices and 2 boiled eggs

D - salt and pepper chicken with rice and some veg (tbc)

Snacks: Alpen Light (other half of HexB), and probably one of my 5 syn treat bags that I made up yesterday. Oh, and a skinny latte later this afternoon for my HexA!

Out for dinner with my sister tomorrow night so have tried to be good in advance...
