I am findig it a lot harder than I thought I would and I have not even finished my first week :(

I went out with DP for our anniversary and had loads of unhealthy food that day. Also having a stressful time at work and finding it hard to spend time prepping fruits etc to go with my meals. Making everything fresh and adding enough super free food is taking a lot longer than eating pasta and pesto, which is exactly the reason why I am overweight in the first place.

Also really missing chocolate but I know that if I start I won't stop. Just needed a bit of a moan I think

I've had a terrible week - out for Italian with the girls Tues night (read wine!), caved into chocolate Thursday night, took baby to see Santa Sat morning and ended up having cake and a latte and went the Manchester Xmas markets today and indulged in a pork barmcake and huge slab of chocolate and marzipan strudel with custard.

Dreading weigh in tomorrow and so angry with myself as really wanted my stone award before go away with husband for anniversary on Wednesday.

Well I'm utterly baffled. Was dreading WI so much after a terrible week... And 3.5 lb loss! That's 16.5 in 6 weeks now. I'm astounded!

Well done 10storey, that's a brilliant loss!

I've been good all week, apart from Friday when I had a bit too much to eat at the school's international food day! Really hoping for my 5 stone award at WI tomorrow, I feel like it's taking forever to get there!

Churmy123 · 19/11/2013 12:20

Wow 5 stone muminthecity thats amazing!

Well after doing so well for 10 weeks in which I lost 27lbs I was gutted with a 1lb gain last week! I'd stuck to the plan so not sure where the 1lb came from. It was time of the month so wondering if that had an effect? Although it never has before. So then I was so fed up I pigged out! Arghhhh!

So annoyed with myself. I desperately want my 2 stone award and my club 10. So anyway I'm now at 26lbs loss in 11 weeks. Which I suppose is ok!

Back on it now. Weigh in tomorrow!

We've started making 'trifle' for after tea - chopped fresh fruit, sugar free jelly (1/2 syn) and a Muller yoghurt. Really tasty & feels like you've had something naughty.

You don't have to miss out on chocolate. Just pick something lower in syns. A fun size crunchie is 4, Freddo is 5 (4.5 for the new popping candy ones). SW has been great for us. I've lost 4.5 stone since January & hope to be at target by the anniversary of us joining. Keep going & good luck!

Your 'trifle' sounds delicious Ikl:) I am not a lover of fruit but eaten like that, it sounds tempting!

Friend going to weigh me this evening as can't rejoin SW until next Tuesday evening, but don't want to put off starting - so hopefully by that time I might have lost a pound or two Hmm

By some stroke of extreme luck -1 lb tonight. This week I have devoured everything in sight and had no willpower what so ever!! My hope that being at home for 4 days would give me the opportunity to stick to it, went down the pan. There was far too much temptation!!!

1/2lb to get my 2 stone!

Congratulations to all the losers xxx

Well done everyone!

I had a week off last week and the week before that had a one pound gain. Was very pleased tonight at weigh in when I'd 6.5 pounds. Feel motivated again and determined to get my stone award next week. Need to lose half a pound to get that Grin

I've decided to go and have my colours done as a reward so I can look even better as the weight hopefully continues to come off.

now down to 9 st 13lb -2 lb short of a 3 stone loss- it is such a huge relief to be under 10 stone, and less than a stone from target. I've been dithering about putting on a pound one week and losing it the next for a couple of months now so to finally be on the last leg is very exciting. As I am quite ancient I'm keeping a close eye on whether any benefits to my body of loss are showing adversely in my face and as I'm now a size 10 in most makes I will call it a day if I start looking scraggy.

Well, I rejoined sw yesterday. Not a good week to start as we are away for the weekend but then it will be xmas and i will still be puting it off. I lost 2 stone there 2 years ago and had regained more than a stone. I feel quite determind at the moment. I would like to lose 5 stone for a start. Ds3 is sitting here eating matchmakers I am eating tesco prawns out of the packet!

I am not sure I have enough will power. As soon as it gets stressful at work I will start to binge eat :( I am definitely an emotional eater.

I have been gaining and losing the same 3 pounds for the last 3 weeks now. Gaining the last few days.

Maybe I should join a group to get more motivation, my DP is very skinny and no support. But as a teacher I am a bit worried that loads of parents will be there and recognise me/I wouldn't feel comfortable to say anything personal.

wannabe, I started doing SW online, and paid £65 for 3 months. After about 3 weeks I gave up! I need the weigh in to keep me motivated. I fall off the wagon most weekends, but it's the thought of going to group gets me back on track. The group meetings are the same old rubbish every week, but i pick up loads of tips and recipes and come out feeling really positive. You never have to say anything personal, some people say very little, others won't shut up!!!!
My ex bf new wife goes to my group, which is pretty awkward!!!! ( we split after 5 years because I wanted a baby, he didn't. Within a week he'd met her, 2 weeks later she was pregnant!)

Anyway, back on track 100%. We were talking about diets in work yesterday and a bloke said to me something along the lines of, you're still quite big. I was mortified! I think I needed someone to say it though. When everyone is complimenting you all the time, you lose sight of the fact that you've still got a way to go. I definitely have the 'I'll show you' mindset now!

higgle wow, under ten stone! You must feel amazingx
