pink, is that the new family cookbook? I had a look at it at group, some of the recipes looked lovely.

Thanks for the scan bran ideas. I've only got 2 more lunches until wi, so might soldier on with the cottage cheese. Even the dog, who eats anything and everything wasn't interested in trying it!!!

pinkoneblueone · 16/09/2013 20:23

Fairy yea is we've had a couple of things out there the nasi gorang is Lovely! A little spicy for little mouths but hubby and loved it! Cottage pie was lovely! Scran bran is pretty awful I usually make a bung it all in salsa and slop it on top and eat it tat whatnot had it in a while though!

Thesebootsweremadeforwalking · 17/09/2013 14:26

Woohoo! 3 lbs off and slimmer of the week!

I don't deserve it, I had 82 Syns on Sunday, perhaps the rest of the week was good enough to compensate....

Minimammoth · 17/09/2013 15:32

Fantastic Boots, I will miss weigh in tonight as I have to work but but will ceremonially step on the scales in my clothes at home. Still don't think I have lost. I think my body takes a fortnight for the shock to set in.Grin

happycrimblechuckie · 17/09/2013 17:00

Hello everyone, please may I join your little group, I only joins SW last night so I have not really got any idea about the diet yet, but it is looking good so far, I am comfortably full after my dinner!

Fairygen · 17/09/2013 18:26

Congrats boots x

Today has been a bit of a nightmare. As usual, on a red day, I've been craving carbs and some loads of chocolate digestives fell into my mouth! I do this every week, EE fri to mon and then attempt red mon to thurs, then end up cheating.

From now on I'm EEing every day. The losses may be slower, but at least I don't feel deprived!

happy, you'll get the hang of it in no time. SW is the easiest diet I've ever done.

Thesebootsweremadeforwalking · 17/09/2013 20:09

Thanks - it may not last (off plan today for DS' birthday) but at least I've reassured myself that I can still do it....

Hello happy Smile

Minimammoth · 17/09/2013 20:21

Did manage to get weighed. No loss, but that's ok. Plodding on

Darkesteyes · 17/09/2013 20:52

Started SW tonight Already 3 and a half pounds lighter than last month (I got weighed at WW then but couldnt cope with their stupid system as im dyscalculic.)

Im trying EE first but im not happy to see on here that the losses are slow.

AbbyLou · 17/09/2013 23:18

Hi to all the new people! I had wi tonight and after last week's disappointing half I lost two and a half so I am chuffed to bits. I got my first half stone and I'm pleased with that in three weeks. Bit gutted though because she had to work late so I couldn't stay and be I resented with my certificate and sticker. Nice to have a shiny sticker on my book though!

BeGoodElliot · 18/09/2013 10:16

Hi there, please can I join your thread? I joined SW last week and had my first weigh in last night and have lost 3lbs, was quite pleased with that. Hoping to lose 2-2.5 stones.

I think I might need to try and cut back this week on my portion sizes as I feel I have been going a bit crazy with pasta and rice, although my SW leader said you can have as much as you want as long as you stick to the 2/3 1/3 ratio, I still feel that eating loads can't be good. So that is my aim for this week. I have also joined a health club and am going to attempt to go there at least 4 times a week. Going to have a read through this thread see if I can pick up some tips! Smile

pinkoneblueone · 18/09/2013 12:47

Weigh in tonight after work I put on 4lb last week so hoping for at least 2lb off this week and I'll be happy

Fairygen · 18/09/2013 15:53

dark, I think the problem is, that we all want the weight off now. When I look at how much I've lost, it averages at 1.5-2lbs a week, which isn't slow at all!! I've been going for 12 weeks and have only ever put on once. For me it's a miracle. At WW I was a pound off, half on, one and have off, one on etc. I was really against EE because I don't believe carbs and diets work together, but I've realised that I need to do a plan that fits into every day life and EE does.

Darkesteyes · 18/09/2013 16:01

EE confuses me because i used to do Green And since when was Weetabix bloody sinned 6 and a half sins now Angry it used to be a healthy extra.

AbbyLou · 18/09/2013 17:04

I though Weetabix was a healthy extra?

Darkesteyes · 18/09/2013 17:12

You are right Abby just had it confirmed by SW consultant on fb but in book it says 6.5 syns under Green im a bit confused about whether to do Green or EE as im not a big meat eater.

pinkoneblueone · 18/09/2013 20:04

2 weetabix are a healthy extra!!! But in addition to that that's when you sun them.

4lb off tonight (the amount I put on last week) so happy with that! :) back to 12st1lb which means I'm back in the losses again :)

pinkoneblueone · 18/09/2013 20:05

Syn them blooming auto correct

Minimammoth · 19/09/2013 08:37

Well my body has got itself sorted out and scales this morning are telling me I've lost another 2 lbs at least. Unofficial though. Got a Birthday do at the weekend so no doubt it will get cancelled out. Fingers crossed.

holidaysarenice · 19/09/2013 17:04

I sts but tbh I was happy with that!

Back at it in earnest this week....2lb off wud be reasonable between today and monday. Changing wi days.

Thesebootsweremadeforwalking · 19/09/2013 19:51

I've noticed that some of my EE days would actually be more on-plan if they were green days. Wonder if I should do a few.

holidaysarenice · 19/09/2013 21:34

Does anybody by any chance know the syns in ainsley harriet roasted veg couscous? I can't find it anywhere!!

Thesebootsweremadeforwalking · 19/09/2013 22:33

2.5 Syns per 100g pack without oil/ butter, according to the SW app.

holidaysarenice · 20/09/2013 01:18

Thanks thesebootsweremadeforwalking you are a star!!

Thesebootsweremadeforwalking · 20/09/2013 09:31

No problem Smile

We have a rare night out tonight, off to an Italian restaurant. I'm a bit unsure of what would make a not too off-plan choice, any suggestions?
