I lost 4 in my first week too, then having holiday, have eaten out 4 times in last 7 days. So yes, it all went to pot. I have tried to keep it under control, but too hard when eating at friends etc.

Hello everyone, I saw someone mentioned fanta quorn? Is it nice sounds a bit odd tbh? Can I have a recipe for it also does anyone know the syn value of Philadelphia sauce garlic and herb.

I'm making a no syn pasta sauce for lunch, not sure yet what to have for dinner.

What's everyone else having?

Hell Me23 - nice to see a few old faces on here - I was intrigued by 'Fanta Quorn' as well if someone could post the recipe.

I am planning to have leftover spiced carrot and chickpea pilaf for dinner which I made last night and which was surprisingly good Smile

Me23 for lunch I had cheese, onion and potato cakes which were lovely with lots of salad, a Mullerlight and some strawberries.

For dinner we are having turkey pizza melts.

Both recipes I found online. There are so many recipes out there aren't there? We've not found a bad one yet.

Hi all haven't been around for several weeks for various reasons. Have alot of reading to do, but can already see there are a few new names around - unless you've all name changed whilst I've been absent?! So haven't had the best couple of weeks, morning sickness continuing plus have been on holiday. Daren't weigh myself but am back on track since Monday.

Am now 14 weeks and have had initial scan results back and all ok. Midwife has advised aiming to gain no more than a stone in the whole pregnancy!! Eeek!!!

Worryingly went to a family party on the weekend and two relatives, separately, pattedme on the tummy and asked if I was expecting again!! Neither knew I was pregnant, and if I'd had a bump as big as they were implying I'd have been about 30 weeks!!! Clearly need to get back on the sw wagon!

me23, the fanta quorn recipe is supposed to be chicken, but I use quorn chicken pieces because it's quicker.

Fry onion, peppers and chicken, then add a good glug of passata, stock cube, enough diet orange to cover ingredients and chilli flakes. Let it bubble away until reduced. When cooked, stir in fresh pineapple.

I think the original recipe had 1 tsp vinegar and 1tsp sweetener too. This gives it a sweet and sour taste, but I don't bother because it's so tasty anyway.

I also do the same with diet coke and 5 spice instead of fanta and chilli.

We had chicken chasseur (made with a Schwartz packet mix) with rice, which when portioned came to 2.6 suns for me, which I was quite pleased with. I added lots of extra mushrooms over the recipe and also put carrots in. Even DS was happy! Think I might explore the packets a bit further this time, not sure that DD is quite ready for me to spend a long time cooking properly from scratch at the mo.

Because DD is EBF I'm on 6 HEs a day. I've only had 4 so far today, and would be eating for the sake of it. Does anyone know if it matters too much if you don't use the whole allowance each day?

I have not tried any different recipes, we had chicken risotto, with leeks and green beans. I just left out the white wine, but did add a sprinkle of Parmesan. We are having a day in London tomorrow, any clues as to what would be safe to eat. Not planning on taking own food apart from fruit.

Woohoo -3 lbs last night!!! So 1st 4 lbs in total. At last it seems to be coming off. 4 more lbs and I'll be in a different stone bracket, lighter than I have been in years, so I'm feeling really motivated.

Admittedly, I started a new job this week but it didn't work out, so have been so bloody unhappy I lost my appetite for most of the week. It's back now, with a vengeance!!!

Sorry to hear the job didn't work out Fairy no wonder you've been :( Well done on losing 3lbs this week though.

I think I should do well this week. I'd better bloody well get that 1st sticker tomorrow. I've just had my reward for losing a stone - a new hairstyle :) I've gone short, from about bra-strap length to a short bob - it's very different. And I had copper highlights put in too. If I haven't lost the last half pound to get to the stone then I'll have to ask them to stick my hair back on Shock. I'm really hoping to have lost 3.5lbs which would take me to the next stone bracket too. I'm under 14st on my home scales but not by much and I think my scales weigh a bit lighter than the sw ones.

Had 2 bad weeks and sw gone to pot. I so have to wise up and start thinking of the Xmas season! I just had chocolate and toast it's like I can't stop!! Tomorrow need to give myself a good talking to and start over. Stressed at work and find I just eat. But why do I do it? It only makes me feel sluggish and worse.

I'm back on here to say I will get back on track. U are all so good at it!!

summer good luck with your weigh in. Hope you get into your new stone bracket too!

Started to apply for more jobs, just need to build my confidence up, which the weight loss is starting to help with. Losing weight is one of the hardest thing to do, if you can do that you can do anything!

On a good note, my job advisor is sooooo yummy, so don't mind going to see him again!!!!!

2.5lbs off this week. No need to get my hair stuck back on - what a relief. Grin I didn't make it into the next stone bracket so that's my aim for this week - 1 lb to take me under the stone marker (and hopefully at least one more this week).

I think when I lose another half stone I'm going to get my ears re-pierced and at 2 stone I'll get my nose re-pierced. I don't know what treats I fancy for after that.

Thanks fairygen for the recipe I use quorn a lot as I'm veggie I don't think I would like the fanta one but the diet coke one sounds interesting. Does it taste nice? Is the recipe exactly the same as the fanta one apart from the fanta of course.

Well done Summer on your 2.5 lbs. I've been hungry today for the first time since I started SW. I think I'm getting fed up of eating the same things all the time. I can't keep up with spending so much on food, my food bill has increased so much since I have been on it! I guess when I get used to it I'll be able to meal plan more cheaply, I've had to buy in a few bits I didn't have but they will last I suppose.
I think with weekends it's been the lack of snacks I'm finding hard. Fruit just doesn't hit the spot like a biscuit or a bar of chocolate! Today has been hard because I've been trying to save all my Syns so I can have wine tonight!

Hi all I'm back on the sw wagon after a good summer off. During that time I have managed to put back on the stone I lost since April Confused

Started Wednesday once the kids were back and hoping lose at least 1 1/2 stone before December so I can put it all back on again over xmasGrin

Just finished bf ds so am missing the extra hex already.
