HolidayArmadillo · 25/06/2013 16:37

Anyone had the homemade SW chicken Kiev? I'm tasking DH with making it tonight.

BethAndHerBrood · 25/06/2013 16:43

I'm feeling much better now, had a sudden urge to do some baking, i have brownies cooling in the kitchen.

Tea's on, sw chips, omelette, salady thing with a bit of pasta in. Definately a green day!

TheYoniExpress · 25/06/2013 17:57

OH SHIT. Just realised that my WI means that I am the SAME as last week - i got myself confused! what an idiot. So weigh in today, no change. Total loss 5lb since started two weeks ago. Boo!

Little mouse - amazing! EnvyEnvyEnvy

Littlemousewithcloggson · 25/06/2013 18:42

Thank you everybody for the congratulations , I'm on cloud 9 and motivated to keep going.
I do have 8st in total to lose so that's one reason why I'm losing quickly I think. Also the 3 days extra easy and 4 original help speed things up as I'm not tempted to fill up with too much pasta and rice which I don't think would work for me if I did it every day.
Breakfast a la huff was fantastic, think it's going to be quite a regular occurrence!

melliebobs · 25/06/2013 20:12

B - wheetabix and milk
D - warburtons brown wrap (8) tuna, rocket, cucumber, pepper, spring onion, lemon dressing
T - bacon, beans, mushrooms, egg
S - apples, pineapple, grapes, mugshot, tea, coffee

Exercise - 1 mile walk this morning and just got back from a 5k race Grin

HolidayArmadillo · 25/06/2013 20:46

Chicken kievs were absolutely amazing, no Parmesan so a splodge of cheddar instead, wedges and beans. Tasted even better than a chicken Kiev normally would. It's totally going on the menu for my hypothetical new restaurant that sells only slimming world and or weight watcher friendly meals with syns and point values.

TheDetective · 25/06/2013 21:04

Quick question! It's date night in chez detective.

We want a takeaway. We were going the chippy and having chips and peas. Except it is shut when the opening hours say it should be bloody open grrrr!. So we are getting a chicken kebab with salad. I've asked for chili sauce on the side. What should I syn it? I've never had one. I think it comes with pitta bread. Should I leave the pitta?

Also - does anyone know accurate syns for a garlic bread with cheese. Half a 9 inch one. It says the syns for 100g on the website, but I've no idea how much 100g of it would be!

TY!

muminthecity · 25/06/2013 21:20

Woooohooooo! I lost my 3lbs, got my 2.5 stone award, and got slimmer of the week and slimmer of the month! Grin

I am so happy, when I started I never thought I could lose this much in just 10 weeks. I love SW! Grin

Curlywurlysareyum · 25/06/2013 21:31

Yeah!! Lost 1.5 and now see 11 st mark on sw scales! Only 4 to get to target. Off on hols next week and just can't believe I've a suitcase packed of size 14 (last year 18 and some 20) 2 stone 8 off since aug (1 st 10 since I joined sw) Going to have a fab hol. Delighted.

Well done to all the losses this week. Would be interesting to see how much we've lost altogether since we joined sw.

We are all brill!!!

MrsHelsBels74 · 25/06/2013 21:34

I made a fatal mistake...weighed in at home and have put 1lb on despite sticking rigidly to plan. I put on last week too, again sticking to plan, so feeling very despondent now...please remind me why we don't weigh in at home!

TheDetective · 25/06/2013 21:52

B: Banana
L: 2 grilled mushrooms, 2 bacon, cheese (HEA) 2 400g wholemeal bread (HEB)

This is where it gets a bit pear shaped!

35g popcorn from the cinema (they weighed it for me - how lovely!) 7 syns.

Chicken kebab - ate the meat and salad only, so I think it is free?

And not quite half of a 9 inch garlic bread with cheese. It says 100g is 17.5 syns, and I had slightly under that. And 1 hot wing.

I'll just say I've used my spare 30 syns I saved!

I'm slightly cross though as I like my food piping hot. It wasn't. So now I feel cheated on my syns! Ah well. I'll get over it!

DP has now lost 2 stone. Feeling deflated as I am not even at 1.5 stone yet. Bloody men!

He's just eaten a donner and chicken kebab, 9 hot wings, and more than half the garlic bread, and he had no spare syns. Hope he puts a stone back on haha!

Cindermummy · 25/06/2013 22:29

Had my weigh in and sts Hmm it's my own fault went abit mad this week .. Back on track in the morning SmileSmilecongrats on all your losses

MamaChubbyLegs · 25/06/2013 23:38

Congrats everyone!!

muminthecity wow, that's incredible!

B - weetabix and hot water (yeah, I know I'm weird!) Silly me assumed they were HE... no! And flavoured! 8 syns
L - Tuna salad with free hot sauce
D - Crayfish and prawn stir fry

S - Crab sticks

No HEA as DP drank all the milk and did not replace!

Oh, had a glass of port - 4 syns Wine

IsaacCox · 26/06/2013 08:30

Congratulations on all the losses! :)

I'm going to look round a gym today, eek! Nervous!

Yesterday (green day):
B- weetabix HEB and milk HEA. Fruit
L- 2x mugshots . Fruit
D- Butternut squash and sweet potato soup, side of cheesy HEA chips
Then this is where I went bad... 4 freddos over the day and 8 strawberry pencils Blush At least the bad stuff is out of the house now.

melliebobs · 26/06/2013 08:35

One of those days where I don't get a lunch break and I'm starving already despite scrambled eggs for breakfast Sad packed loads of fruit n an alpen bar so I can eat on the go. And I've got running club as well tonight. Gah

B - scrambled eggs, wholemeal toast (hex) coffee
D - nothing
T - quiche (15) asparagus and salad
Snacks - alpen bar (3) apple pineapple grapes, mugshot, lemon n like activia yoghurt

Exercise - run club (5-6k)

obrigada · 26/06/2013 09:31

Congrats on all the weight losses, weighed in last night at 12st 11lb, my heaviest ever! Last weigh in was over a month ago, have put on 1lb in weight but strangely enough have lost 6lb in body fat and put on 7lb in muscle Confused.
Had planned on Weetabix and banana for brekkie this morning but milk carton was emptied out during the night so brekkie was a mugshot with a banana .. needs must and all that Grin

HolidayArmadillo · 26/06/2013 09:42

Weigh in for me tonight. Feel strangely nervous. Scales showing a loss at the minute but I just want it to be the best it can, am already obsessing over what outfit to wear! I do wish it wasn't so frowned upon to completely strip off to underwear only on the scales Wink I've had an Allen light for breakfast and ill have egg beans and bacon for lunch then nothing until after weigh in combined with plenty of fluid.

melliebobs · 26/06/2013 10:07

7lb of muscle is way better than 6lb of fat. Yes you will be heavier for it but your shape will have changed and ur metabolism will be speedier for it Wink

Dawndonna · 26/06/2013 10:12

Am having scrambled eggs for breakfast today, and struggling on lunch and tea. Just can't decide, unusual for me, I'm a meal planner, but with the dcs in and out, haven't this week.

obrigada · 26/06/2013 10:23

Oh thanks Mellie, haven't noticed a difference in my shape, but do like the idea of my metabolism speeding up Grin

Dizzydummy · 26/06/2013 12:07

My first weigh in today and I lost 3lbs, YAY!!

obrigada · 26/06/2013 12:36

Well done Dizzy, great first week for you:)

melliebobs · 26/06/2013 12:56

obrigada it's deffo worth taking measurements as well. Only saying cos I only want to lose a stone but cos I do a lot of exercise I get quite muscly/toned quickly which on the scales means I plateaux cos the muscle weighs more. So when I only have small losses or none at all its a bit disheartening so it's good to see that my waist is smaller for example which helps explain gains etc

BethAndHerBrood · 26/06/2013 12:58

Way to go dizzy! It really spurs you on, doesn't it?! Grin
