I'll supply you with a boot up the whatnot Tiger as long as you'll reciprocate!

I go away on the 16th August and would love to lose another 2 stone by then. I'm trying to set some smaller targets though - it's our wedding anniversary at the end of next month and I would really like to have lost 7 or 8 lbs by then not that it'll be even close to my wedding day weight We then have a work 'do' in the middle of June that I'd like to be a stone lighter for and then a weekend with friends in July that is the 1.5 stone target.

Sadly I don't think the food is the problem, it's the weekend wine Blush

tigerdriverII · 05/04/2013 22:05

You and me both bean. If I didn't drink, I would be a 51 year old twiglet. Yes, I will boot you, if you will boot me.

Off topic entirely, this thread is the only thing keeping me on MN at the moment. It's fun, light hearted, and supportive. What is not to like?

laughalot · 05/04/2013 22:18

Ha ha tiger thanks it is so nice to come on here and other people be in the same boat. It is so hard at times and other weeks a breeze. Its my star week due and I want full fat stodge Grin.

tigerdriverII · 05/04/2013 22:26

laughalot. Look a bit upthread about the success express. I have no idea if it works but I think it might. I am just doing three days of it, hoping it will work ( tonight, supper has been substituted for wine...).

KissMyGrits · 06/04/2013 08:02

tiger you can do it, thats a good goal. I know what you mean about the wine, I was having a glass or 2 a night pre SW, but after a couple of weeks without (hard I know) you lose your taste for it and you can feel the effects after a glass. I couldn't handle the bottle I was drinking every Friday now, I had 2 glasses on Sunday and nearly fell asleep!

I'm struggling to get back onto plan after last weekend, I think the fact that I did lose a little bit has made me feel like I can deal with eating crap at the weekends and only lose 1lb a week. But realistically I need to lose 1.5lbs a week to reach goal in time. Need to get back on it!

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 06/04/2013 10:56

Down a 1/2 lb at weigh in today Smile Am delighted after having last weekend off, seriously back on plan for this week now, 1/2lb to go to stone badge Grin

KissMyGrits · 06/04/2013 13:28

Well I just had a scone (11 syns) and a small slice of ham and egg pie, plus I'm planning a curry tonight. I did do a 2 hour walk as well but still think it'll be 0 syns for the rest of this week for me!

beanandspud · 06/04/2013 13:46

WI this morning and 2lb on - whoops! The scales did hover a little so I'm being optimistic that it's only just two!!!

Well done Fish I'm very jealous of your 1/2 lb.

Good day today though - fruit and yogurt for breakfast and salad with prawns for lunch. I will probably have leftover paella for tea as DH is out.

Just about to go for a walk in the woods with DS as it's a lovely afternoon here.

Oh, and my dress arrived for a wedding that we're going to and it fits! I'd bought a smaller size than normal and it looks much better than I'd dared to hope Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2013 16:15

Hello all Grin

Sorry, I haven't had chance really to pop in and I'm still not really back on plan anyway. Probably wont be until the children are back to school and even then I'll have my Mum down for almost 2 weeks!

Anyway, I haven't read back but I hope all is well and everyone is losing to make up for my pisspoor SW behaviour at the moment Grin

Xx

noyouhavehadawee · 07/04/2013 17:57

Hello im back ..... another piss poor performer here Grin, i have tried to be on plan loosley but with all the chocolate that needs consuming i have had to help out Blush, i am doing it for the dc - the sooner its gone the sooner we can all be good and healthy again. I have been bike riding and done a bit of running with dd though mind i have had a few lagers on a night too Blush, actually i think ive prbably been a bit naughty reading this back Sad. Not back at work till Wednesday when i will have my first weigh in since thursday before good friday so we shall see.

KissMyGrits · 07/04/2013 19:37

Looks like we've all been pretty bad, I'm kind of back on track today:

B: Mullerlight and toast with marg (0.5)
L: Chicken salad with mayo (1)
D: Vegetable hotpot

Snacks Choc cake (5)

So lots and lots of super free but desperate for the rest of the chocolate cake...

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 07/04/2013 20:22

I was good yesterday and then blew it by having 3 large glasses of wine, good today but really really tempted to have some chocolate now.. Ah it's so hard sometimes HmmSad

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 07/04/2013 20:23

Oh and can anyone tell me is there any tinned soups that are syn free? Thanks Smile

androbbob · 07/04/2013 21:28

Another one hoping this week will be better than last - its 7 weeks tomorrow until kissmygrits and I go on our holidays 'together' Grin. Really want to shift 8lbs by then, but given that I am a half a pound a weeker, that could be tough - need to change something. Aiming for more exercise this week - plan to do more intense workouts and then to eat better food choices - will keep you posted.

3girls1madboy · 08/04/2013 07:30

Boy!! Am I glad it's back to work for me today Smile

WI tonight...eek!

Have a good day everyone Xx

KissMyGrits · 08/04/2013 07:55

androb 7 weeks? Can't come quick enough for me, I have about 7 lbs I want off by then as well but I can't resist all the cake 'D'H bought for him and the DC's at the weekend!

Fish you can have some types of Baxters ones as a heb if you're on EE. If you want to know which ones let me know.

ThatBintAgain · 08/04/2013 07:58

Morning everyone. I had a whole bottle of wine on Saturday and despite being good all week my scales say I've put on. :( So frustrating.

beanandspud · 08/04/2013 11:22

Morning all!

Fish You can have any of the following as a HeB:

  • 208g serving Baxters chunky soup, country vegetable/lamb casserole/Smoked bacon and three bean
  • 208g serving Baxters Healthy soup - autumn veg with mild spices/Italian bean and pasta/puy lentil & tomato/tomato and brown lentil
  • 208g serving Baxters vegetarian soup - carrot & butter bean/spicy parsnip
  • 415g can Baxters vegetarian mediterranean tomato
  • 400g can Heinz classic chicken & barley broth
  • 300g serving Covent Garden plum tomato and basil
  • 295g can Weight watchers soup - country veg/hearty vegetable broth

Hope that helps.

Hoping for a good day today. Fruit and yogurt for breakfast, salad and tuna for lunch and vegetable chilli for dinner. It's a funny old week though as I'm away quite a lot so will have to see how it goes...

Also managed to run this morning and did the Shred on Saturday so I'm struggling a bit with stairs!

MrsMeow · 08/04/2013 12:23

Hi everyone, I wondered if you'd mind me joining for moral support? Thanks to beanandspud for linking me to this thread :)

I've been trying for a while now to lose weight, I want to lose at least two stone and I tend to manage to lose 6lbs or so then put it back on, then lose it again etc. so I've bitten the bullet and contacted my local SW rep and am starting tomorrow eve at 7.30 Shock

Feeling v nervous about walking into a new group of people but also feel strangely focused so hopefully this will be it!

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

iklboo · 08/04/2013 17:45

Hello MrsMeow & welcome

Weigh in tonight. I'm not hopeful. I think I may have had a false great loss last week because I had a morning weigh in instead of evening. We were naughty Monday after weigh in but have been so good the rest of the week. Confused

iklboo · 08/04/2013 19:00

Maintained. I can live with that!

3girls1madboy · 08/04/2013 19:07
