Oh my goodness - I feel sick! Toasted hot cross buns for breakfast. Followed by a birthday party buffet for lunch (mini samosas, bhaji, pancake rolls, pizza, crisps...). I've just eaten the birthday cake from the kids' party bags too.

I really do feel like Mr Creosote... But, BUT! Once upon a time ^^^ would have been normal everyday type eating! So it is good to have a blow out but also good to now be thinking "mmmmmm tomorrow I can have something a bit less stodgy!"

Who is this person and what have they done with the old Roly?!

Cupcake1982 · 31/03/2013 15:50

Happy Easter :)

So far I have resisted the chocolate however my dad has just visited with a box of chocs from hotel chocolate!!!!!

Wishfulmakeupping · 31/03/2013 16:02

Happy Easter [busmile]

I feel well and truly stuffed! Just had a big roast dinner followed by Easter muffin thingy. Haven't had a huge amount of chocolate today but did share a bit of DS's egg (I didn't get any eggs which I think is a good thing?)

Roly. I feel a bit like you, I've enjoyed having a weekend 'off plan' but determined not to let it slip into a week off. We are out tomorrow night for an Italian but that's generally SW-friendly as I usually have pasta and tomato-based sauce.

Well done Blondes - you're putting me to shame!

Welcome Wishful - by Thursday we'll all be back on the SW wagon again...

iklboo · 01/04/2013 10:36

3lb. OFF!!!! I have no idea how as I've been a bit naughty but I'm soooooo chuffed. Got my club 10 and down into the next stone. Yay! . Smile

Furball · 01/04/2013 10:38

oh WOW iklboo - i chickened out this morning [naughty]

3girls1madboy · 01/04/2013 12:30

My regular Thursday group closed, as no consultant, so have changed to a Monday. WI this morning and sts, which after this weekend I am VERY pleased with Grin
Biggest problem now is Monday wi, means I have to be extra good at weekends Wink

Well done iklboo.

Wishfulmakeupping · 01/04/2013 15:41

Well done iklboo :)
Is anyone on here EBF or a veggie if so any tips would be fab. I'm going to ring the class consultant and just check its ok to do sw as a breastfeeding veggie not sure how it all works

noyouhavehadawee · 01/04/2013 16:58

i totally commend all you who have remained good , i have eaten a fair amount of chocolate and remained good ish elsewhere , i figure now its the sooner its gone the sooner i can get back on the wagon.

BadRoly · 01/04/2013 18:06

Well, I have just weighed in (2days early AND evening rather than morning). Guess how much I have gained?!

KissMyGrits · 01/04/2013 19:23

Badroly how much? It will make me feel better when I weigh on Weds!

I wasn't as bad as I thought yesterday, had some buffet food and 2 glasses of wine. No chocolate but I'm kind of desperate for some now instead...

beanandspud · 01/04/2013 20:20

Roly I am going to be positive and say, maybe a pound? Whatever the result I would suggest that it's a) too early b) straight after Easter and c) evening and therefore not particularly accurate.

Is everyone else clambering back onto the wagon tomorrow?

beanandspud · 01/04/2013 20:24

Sorry, well done Iklboo [bugrin] - great result!

Wishful I don't eat meat but do eat fish and I have found loads of veggie SW recipes. I think it should be ok to do whilst bf as it's generally a healthy way of eating, you might be able to have a couple of extra 'healthy extras'.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/04/2013 20:27

well done ikiboo

i was good yesterday but today ate chocolate and a roast dinner so been a bad blonde (again)

KissMyGrits · 01/04/2013 21:05

Well done iklboo

Definitely back on the wagon tomorrow, just had one last blow out and had half an Easter egg and a glass of wine.

laughalot · 01/04/2013 21:15

Went to weigh today and scales were broken it may be to all the choc I have consumed oh dear !!!!!!

BadRoly · 01/04/2013 21:16

Well done iklboo Grin

Well, the bad news is, and I loved your optimistic 1lb Beans, ...... Drum roll.....

5lb

Yes, FIVElb. I have crashed up through my 10% thing, am almost back up into the higher stone and instead of being 1lb off target, I am almost 1/2 stone off target Grin

So let that be a warning to you all Wink. I have 4 more hot cross buns to finish and then I can reign it back in again. But I have very very much enjoyed all the very bad stuff I have eaten since Thursday Grin

BadRoly · 01/04/2013 21:17

Or should I have been doing [bugrin]?!

androbbob · 01/04/2013 21:18

Evening! Slowly eating my own body weight in chocolate here! Did have healthy food inbetween for my meals and I am doing two classes at the gym tomorrow, but even so - these school holidays will be the ruin of me!

Didnt go to WI today as went to Ikea instead (poor excuse)! WIll need to make a concerted effort this week as off with the kids and cant afford to gain any lbs.

How is everyone else doing - chocolate should be banned!!

tigerdriverII · 01/04/2013 21:25

Hello wishful welcome on board! Can't give you any EBF tips but veggies are good on this plan.

bean - that's great!

Everybody: don't worry about Easter eggs and general pig outs. Occasionally they happen and sometimes you just swerve around them, especially if they're just one day. I think our bodies just say "nooooo".

So. I have been pretty virtuous. Friday : light breakfast (can't remember), rice, salad and tikka chicken for lunch, steak and chips and salad for supper and a couple of glasses of wine

Saturday : porridge and fruit, fruit salad for lunch and Kung pao chicken from the Asia book for supper and about a gazillion glasses of wine (so partly good, and partly not)

Sunday: salmon and Philly omelette from the last magazine, it was vile I'm afraid, Thai fish cakes, then lemon chicken from the Asia book, very nice. A small taste of DS's Easter egg ( or one of them) - no more than 1 syn.

Today: fruit and yoghurt , then a cheese sandwich using my hea and HEb, then I'm having pasta and salad with smoked salmon and yoghurt sauce. And some wine

Best bit though is the exercise: in the last three days I have done a one and a half hour walk over high hill country, swam for 45 mins , and done ordinary walking for just over an hour.

Fingers crossed for WI tomorrow night. Sorry for long post!

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/04/2013 21:39

Oh roly :(

But least you enjoyed / like I did when I gained

Prob be a gain this week as well :(

KissMyGrits · 02/04/2013 08:16

Eek Roly are you sure the scales were correct? That sounds like a lot for just one week? Oh well at least it was fun!

I think my only hope this week is all the walking I've done, we'll see tomorrow!
