cupcake - well done, that's such a good start.

Well, feeling pretty positive ATM. I now have a walking buddy at work, we are donning our leggings and doing half hour walks, briskly, twice a week. I suspect she's a MN (we had a chat today about things that make you feel grown up, it was basically a MN thread!). So am on track with exercise and food and drink is ok, I have had a couple of vodka and sodas in the last couple of days, tonight is Wine night, but then off to my mums, she has just taken the pledge. However after 60+ years of drinking what she likes, I am a bit sceptical. Have a great Easter everyone!

androbbob · 28/03/2013 22:17

cupcake well done that is fab!

blondes - big hugs to you - but today is one of those days to sod SW. Your emotional needs were greater than any weightloss this week, so dont beat yourself up with your WI tomorrow.

struggling this week - planned to be really good, but sucumbed to a creme egg - really not worth the 9.5 syns. Going to see One Direction on Sunday and have booked Pizza Hut for me and DD - she wanted Piza Express but was fully booked. At least at the Hut you get free salad, so will get a piza between us - she likes just cheese, and fill up on salad and diet coke!

KissMyGrits · 29/03/2013 07:45

Blondes I'm so sorry. Just relax and do what you need to do, no need to worry about anything else at a time like this. I would just take the weekend to relax if I were you, get back on it next week.

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 29/03/2013 08:24

Oh Blondes.. That's really sad. Be kind to yourself Smile

Happy Easter everyone. I just weighed in a day early as we are away tonight and after 3 weeks of only losing a 1/2 lb despite lots of gym and sticking to plan I am down 3lb today Grin Grin Grin

4 and 1/2 lb to target now.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/03/2013 11:08

i gained a lb :( and if i hadnt of had chocolate/cakes/crisps etc yesterday maybe i would have sts

pissed off with myself - yesterday was just a date but i struggled and now gained again

im a bloody yo yo dieter :(

KissMyGrits · 29/03/2013 13:55

Blondes it wasn't just a date, it was a time to remember something and let yourself be sad. Don't be hard on yourself.

I just had lunch out and came home and had an M and S belgian chocolate hot cross bun, mini so it was only 4.5 syns and I'm working tonight so that kept me off the wine. However, lunch at my Mums on Sunday will include sandwiches, cakes, crisps and dips. The only SW friendly foods are bananas and grapes! Oh well, hopefully I'll get a STS this week!

Furball · 29/03/2013 16:26

blondes - Sad Don't be hard on yourself - a) it's Easter fgs, most here will be struggling to even stay the same and with yesterday added into your factor as well. You need some TLC Smile

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/03/2013 16:49

thanks all - i actually am not a fan of chocolate much tbh - doesnt bother me, apart from when a) emotional b) due on

i did see that a creme egg was think 9.5syns - what a waste

Blondes, sorry to hear you've had a tough time, I agree though don't be too hard on yourself.

Saturday night I am off for a pizza and wine night with the family (at my brothers) plus not any old pizza dominos!!!!!

I have decided to give the pizza a miss (my fav!!!) but I will have the wine :) I have been told a bottle of wine is approx 30 syns?
Yesterday I used no syns and I am going to do my best to use none today so hopefully i'll be ok.

Fisharefriends - Well done on your weight loss :)

beanandspud · 29/03/2013 19:49

Well done fisharefriends. Great start [bugrin].

Have been pretty good today, we went to yo sushi for tea which is fairly SW friendly and the food is great. Had just had fruit, yogurt and vegetable soup up til then so not too much damage done. Resisted the scones with jam and clotted cream at local garden place.

Can I recommend Heston's Earl Grey and Lemon gin - I got given a bottle and have been enjoying it with diet tonic which I think is a better option than all the wine I usually drink!

The rest of the weekend may go to pot though. Going to some friends for tea and I am making chocolate pudding for dessert [buwink], I have also promised DS I would bake some buns with him.

beanandspud · 30/03/2013 09:34

Don't quite know how but have lost 4lb this morning - two that I put on last week and two more! [bugrin]

BadRoly · 30/03/2013 10:58

Morning, just popping in briefly to let you know I have decided to go off plan completely over this weekend! No food diary (which is naughty as I need to keep it for other reasons) and eating what I fancy - chocolate spread toast anyone?! Grin

Have a lovely Easter weekend everyone x

Blondes - I have no wise words but I will send a very unmumsnetty hug xx

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/03/2013 12:40

Furball · 30/03/2013 13:06

yes fab stuff bean

I had omelette, jacket and homemade coleslaw for lunch - coleslaw was really good.

I've got a kenwood mini chopper and threw in a carrot, a stick of celery, a spring onion and some white cabbage, then mixed with a very small blob of low fat mayo

have chilli going in the croc pot for tea

KissMyGrits · 30/03/2013 22:16

I'm on about 20 syns so far today, not too bad! Expecting 20-30 tomorrow!

beanandspud · 30/03/2013 22:18

Roly I'll take your chocolate spread and raise you a simnel muffin, a piece of chocolate brownie cake, some goats cheese, mini eggs and 'proper' roast potatoes! [bugrin]

Back to normal on Tuesday!

Cheers everyone Wine

noyouhavehadawee · 30/03/2013 22:24

how many syns do you reckon in half am Easter dig shell, like a average smaller size egg ?

KissMyGrits · 30/03/2013 22:39

noyou probably about 13, I think I saw somewhere that an easter egg is about 26.

Looks like we're all off the wagon this week, will be interesting to see if there's any losses this week I will be [buenvy] if there is!

noyouhavehadawee · 31/03/2013 08:51

i will have that for my breakfast then Grin

KissMyGrits · 31/03/2013 09:14
