I'd like to change my menu plan to try this diet coke chicken (HE2) for saturday, but will have to do it with breasts. and thought SW chips and sw coleslaw would be good.

smellylittleorange · 26/03/2013 20:58

Hi all just reporting a 2lb loss for Monday. Still have not hit my stone :( oh well slow and steady etc, yadda yadda. Must try harder and do more exercise. Worried about Easter weekend , booked a cottage in Somerset already got Dinner booked for friday in Ask and DH busy looking around for a pub for Sunday and talking about Bakery/ chip shops arrgghh

next sale stuff came and I am back in size 16 trousers my arse.is naturally massive so pleased at this!

3girls1madboy · 26/03/2013 21:06

Exactly blondes. I blew a whole weekends worth, at the beginning. Worse thing is that my dm partner, works for a well known maker of wraps and we get loads for nowt!!

Well done smelly! I hate that the loss has slowed down, but I'm doing Zumba, which I love, and I'm starting to notice my body shape again Grin I have curves, not rolls

smellylittleorange · 26/03/2013 21:31

Curves not rolls I like that one, they laughed at me today at work when it transpired I did not realise the waist was a muscle ! Obviously I thought my waist was just a 'roll'!

tigerdriverII · 26/03/2013 22:03

Hi all. Have been distracted by filthy weather then work. Had WI today and...I lost 2.5 lbs. so hooray, watching the syns really carefully and walking most days has paid off. I am now 2 stone 11.5 away from target, but have lost 1stone 9.5, so more than 1/3 there....

Just realised that 2st 11.5 is 39.5 lbs. that sounds even more manageable. If I could do 2lb a week, it would take 5 months......getting near there by Xmas will do me though....

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 26/03/2013 22:08

Wow tiger, that's fantastic Smile

iklboo · 26/03/2013 22:14

SW website says Discovery wraps (wholemeal or white) are 8 syns each. Unless you had the really mahoosive ones?

androbbob · 26/03/2013 22:15

blondes - yes I am on a mission to lsoe 2lbs this week. Been to gym yesterday, had lovely salad for lunch with hard boiled egg and then syn free spring rolls and stir fry veg for tea - made with canelloni tubes, but should have cooked them for longer. Been for a long walk today to get a present, plus my usual walking around site.

kissmygrits - we too have booked some activities - horse riding and pico sailing for DD and family football for the big and small boys. Booked Hucks for tea on the Thursday, but nothing else - hoping the weather will be good and can spend time outside on some of the trails. Hoping to take the bikes too.

Sounds like everyone is having a good start to the week - not bad considering the poor weather we are having. Spring should be round the corner ... please!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/03/2013 22:25

Well done smelly and tiger :)

Furball. Try the diet coke chicken. Sooooo nice Gonna have tomorrow as well as made loads yesterday

KissMyGrits · 27/03/2013 06:48

androb We're at Hucks for tea on the Thursday! I'll be the one with a long island ice tea debating wether to go nuts and have a burger or stick to steak and baked potato!

Well done smelly and tiger!

I lost 1.8lbs and have hit my interim target and officially lost 2 stone! Bumped into DD's teacher from last year and she noticed I'd lost weight which was lovely!

ArtemisKelda · 27/03/2013 06:59

Morning all. I have a night out on Saturday and I'm after options of what to drink. I can either A- be driver and not drink, or B- stay local & have a few. If I stay local, I'll have dry white wine topped up with soda water & try and persuade BFF to walk the mile between pubs Grin

What's the best low syn option if I'm driving, I can't drink diet cola.

Furball · 27/03/2013 07:23

wowsers there have been some excellent loses this week - well done to all.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/03/2013 07:29

Kelda. Avoid wine. Very high in syns. Spirits better with diet coke (tho said you can't have that) or diet tonic water

Same for driving - soda water or diet tonic

Pubs don't generally do diet lemonade unless in small bottles :( never on pump :(

Thinks becks blue is low - maybe 1 syn a bottle

OP posts:
iklboo · 27/03/2013 07:46

Making the KFC alike for tea tonight with SW chips & slaw. Uncle Jack Daniels is popping by tonight for a short visit so I'm saving my syns.

ArtemisKelda · 27/03/2013 08:18

Thanks Blondes, another daft question here, can I save up syns for a night out? Can't you tell I'm in my 1st week Grin

TIA

Furball · 27/03/2013 09:23

ArtemisKelda - Yes I think you can save your syns, but then shouldn't expect a huge loss.

BadRoly · 27/03/2013 11:22

2lb off Grin shared SotW with 4 others!! Feeling in a very good head space as only 1.5lb until 2 stone loss and 1lb until interim target!!!!

Shame Easter weekend is coming up...

obrigada · 27/03/2013 11:36

A wrap is 15 syns ... passes out in shock and disappointment ... have been having a wrap almost daily

GirlFryDay · 27/03/2013 13:26

hi All!!

Ok so need advice/ideas re yoghurts... Just had a Fat Free Activia - boketastic. Also dont like Muller Lights either!

Anyone recommend any low-ish syn yogs?

Thanks!
