  • I wish.

Morning all,

Hope you find this!

for your rough night Amber.

After a few good ones, we had a crap one too. Up at 1.30, 3, 4.30, 5.30, 6.15........
I think she was a bit overtired last night. Hope we can get her napping better today .

So how were all your nights?

ds seems alot better already thanks

have agood day all off to visit my mum

EffiePerine · 20/09/2007 10:17

oh and re: birth, I was in hosptial but didn't get my water birth as it went faster than anticipated - arrived at 1:30 feeling pretty calm and contractions not too bad, DS born at 4:30! Didn't get to try the gas and air either - just TENS which is NOT effective in the later stages! Had an epi in the ned as the cord was round DS's neck and they had to get him out quick, but no other intervention. I'd be keen to try a home birth next time around but DH would prob disagree . Skirmish: what have you planned for no. 2?

Amber: enjoyed your naps post . Hope the night wasn't too bad.

EffiePerine · 20/09/2007 10:18

Meg - teeth playing up here as well. Think he might be cutting a double tooth which will be fun

tibsy · 20/09/2007 10:52

morning lovelies. dd in bed for her first? nap

tam for your night...wish i could get dd down to 1 waking, we had 4 last night so am feeling a bit jaded this a.m. a brisk walk in the rain woke me up tho!!

ibs for the decrease in crying and increase in sleeping. am very pleased for you. you deserve it my love

skirmish - chamomile tea sounds good. stopped using wipes and use wash cloths, but thats just going one better think i may be joining you in trying to give up night feeds, dd reluctant to do so unless i 'prompt' her. but too at 2 littlies...theyll be great pals i'm sure. my friend and her brother have 11 months between them

hi meg and ginger - sorry for the crappola nights both. i was with ya

EP -lunch sounds nice bottom better now thank goodness!! re the home birth, dp was quite worried too, but he was really pleased that we were at home when it was all over and we were both ok!

tibsy · 20/09/2007 11:14

oooh and hi to amber, didnt see you there!

ginger - hope dd gets better soon (didnt see that either, duh)

Tamdin · 20/09/2007 11:26

have just tried to call friend but both mobile and house phone are switched off. think homebirth may be underway!

tibsy · 20/09/2007 11:51

tam - how exciting!!!! sending positive vibes to her via you xx

Tamdin · 20/09/2007 11:59

somebody please stop me from shopping online!!
my logic is to start buying some xmas presents now to avoid the mahoosive bill in december

gingerninja · 20/09/2007 12:24

Tam, you need that computer on Little Britain.

'...computer says no...'

skirmish · 20/09/2007 12:34

is there a stats bit for you guys so I can find out how old all your LO's are? (i'm too damn lazy to browse thru old threads )

MegBusset · 20/09/2007 13:44

Tam, I like your logic

I usually have my Xmas shopping done by the end of November, but then, I've never had a LO to look after at the same time! DH, on the other hand, always leaves it til Xmas Eve

Skirmish, my DS is nearly 7 months. How did that happen?!

tibsy · 20/09/2007 13:50

christmas?...when's that happening then???... i usually leave it til the last minute and then panic like hell!!!

skirmish, my dd will be 13 mths on the 27th

tibsy · 20/09/2007 13:50

hi meg

gingerninja · 20/09/2007 14:08

12 months 2 weeks here

Amberjee · 20/09/2007 15:28

nearly 9 months here.

hi everyone!

we have had a few rough nights, but last night was 2 wakings after i went to bed so not too bad (and 1 waking before, but that doesn't count right!? )

ds just gone down for second nap. maybe 3pm really is the right time for him again.

tibsy · 20/09/2007 15:39

amber - wakings dont count for me until after i'm in the land of nod!! however, dds 4 wakings last night were after i went to bed and definitely did count, arrggghhh!!!
glad for your reduced wakings
....oh and dds had 2 naps today so a ????? and a from me too!!!!

MegBusset · 20/09/2007 16:36

We have had a funny nap day too... 1.5hrs this am, then just 30 mins at lunchtime, woke upobv still tired but refused to resettle, so got up and fed, then looked tired again so put down again, went straight to sleep, 10 mins later, wide awake!

Just went shopping and bought toasty new coat... I love autumn!

Tamdin · 20/09/2007 16:52

love new winter clothes too meg.

skirmish 20months next tues

Amberjee · 20/09/2007 20:24

arrrgh, we just had a vomit session. don't know if it was because he ate a big dinner, or was crying because he didn't want to go to bed. oh well. dh out at drinks.

ImBarryScott · 20/09/2007 21:05

amber. hope your poor ds is ok, and that you are making the most of having the house to yourself .

OP posts:
Amberjee · 20/09/2007 22:23

i'm just waiting for the washing to finish (due to vomity clothes), then off to bed

Amberjee · 21/09/2007 06:06

aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhh.
going to despair now!

ImBarryScott · 21/09/2007 07:02

you ok amber?

OP posts:
skirmish · 21/09/2007 08:39

morning all...amber, you ok? bad night? (hopefully, you've managed to go back to bed and catch a few more ZzzZz )

Tamdin · 21/09/2007 08:39

oh no amber sounds like you had a rubbish night
that sick in the night thing is a killer. Do you think he has a little bug or was it just because he cried so hard?

our night went like this....
out for dinner at friends house (ds included)
Got home at 9pm so ds and i got cosied up in bed
ds fell asleep at 9.15pm
woke at 7.30 am
