Hello, fashionistas.

Stella McCartney and Gap would like to invite 50 Mumsnetters (with or without their children) to attend the Stella McCartney for Gap launch on Monday 2nd November between 5.30pm and 7pm at the Gap Brompton Road store, Knightsbridge, London.

Here's what the guys at Gap say: "As you may know, Gap will be debuting the first ever collection of Stella McCartney for GapKids and babyGap. Launching in stores on 3rd November 2009, Stella McCartney has created a collection for boys and girls from 0-6 months to 12 years. The collection features her signature touches ? a soft colour palette, familiar silhouettes and her unique mix of unexpected pieces, creating looks that stay true to Stella?s unique vision, reinterpreted with GapKids? playful, child-like charm, keeping fun and practicality at the forefront of the design intent."

Stella herself has specifically suggested that Mumsnet members are invited to the preview event, as she is a fan of the site!

Guests will enjoy a tea party and children will be able to take part in a range of craft activities incorporating motifs from the campaign and will also receive a branded gift bag and balloon at the end of the event.

There is disabled access to the store. Baby changing facilities will be available.

If you'd like to come, please fill in this form.

Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. So, if you haven't heard by 1 November, we're sorry but you haven't been selected.

Morning all.

We've just been told by the GAP team that they're planning to send out the email invitations today.

Good luck to everyone who put their name forward.

FrightsMonth · 28/10/2009 17:35

I could probably rustle up a fox or two!

FrightsMonth · 28/10/2009 17:43

Who are the other 45 MN guests?

ImSoNotTelling · 28/10/2009 17:50

Oh no I get loads of spam and may well have accidentally deleted it

Fuckaroo.

ImSoNotTelling · 28/10/2009 17:52

Oh no I just looked at the first one of my latest deletions and it's from GAP...

What do I do what do I do? The sender is there but I can't find out what the email said

Horton · 28/10/2009 17:53

CAT me - I'll give you the address that the email came from if you haven't got it. If you have, then email them and explain.

ImSoNotTelling · 28/10/2009 18:05

I have the address - it was someone with initials AJ. Just the content is all deleted. You don't think she'll mind? I feel like a bit of a pratt.

sherby · 28/10/2009 18:21

I am in in in in in

I don't think you need the email, it just says thank you for RSVPing says you have been added to guest list and gives address and time.

SkivingViking · 28/10/2009 19:15

Eek, I'm in too. What have I done?! I'm not cool enough for something like this! And I don't know any other mnetters...

Ewe · 28/10/2009 19:17

ME! I'm in and child free. Woo!

deepdarkwood · 28/10/2009 19:19

Ohh, I'm in.

Assume that if we said we had two kids, there are two kids on the guest list...??

ImSoNotTelling · 28/10/2009 19:27

Well I have emailed explaining that I am a twat with a trigger happy delete finger.

Just reread the thing, it says with or without children, and we just had to say what age children we had. My guess is they will let you in with whatever children you happen to turn up with!

I also know no other MNers. And didn't expect to get this - oh blimey...

Skivingviking I will say hello to you

SkivingViking · 28/10/2009 19:38

deepdarkwood - I wondered that too (also signed up 2 children when applying)

ImSoNotTelling - thank you, I'll be the lost looking one feeling a bit out of place

ImSoNotTelling · 28/10/2009 19:41

Do you reckon we are allowed to bring a DH if we have one to hand? Or other moral support?

Or just us with/without kids?

steaknifethroughtheheart · 28/10/2009 19:51

I'm in.

Didn't expect to be but I am. Very exciting. But just realised a day in London with 14 month old DD might be a bit much for her.

Fortunately just got her some new tops in the Gap sale.
