Quick! Fancy some family tickets to Ice Age 3 this Saturday?

Woolworths.co.uk are offering Mumsnetters family tickets (for four people) to a special, red-carpet showing of Ice Age 3 in 3D this Saturday morning (4 July).

The London showing is full but there are still tickets for Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Castelford, Didsbury, Edinburgh, Hull, Ipswich, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Sheffield.

If you'd like one, please email your full name, address and preferred cinema to [email protected]. But get your skates on: tickets are limited and will be offered on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.

So we may still hear?

I emailed at about 4ish yesterday so not a late nighter.

Got a public transport nightmare to organise if i get tickets!

Goober · 03/07/2009 13:15

I'm crying.

YoGabbaGabba · 03/07/2009 13:23

I was sooooooo hoping to get tickets for Aberdeen but also still haven't heard. I emailed yesterday at around 2.30pm so should have been in plenty of time. Do you think Adam will let us know when all the tickets have been allocated to put us out of our misery?

RubberAdam · 03/07/2009 13:28

Hello all. If you haven't been able to get a ticket you will be notified by Woolies.
Deadlines, different cinema locations and availability all come into play so sorry if you miss out this time.

Otherwise do remember to sign up as a VIF (Very Important Family) at Woolworths.co.uk (see bottom left of homepage) and families can claim free cinema tickets for up and coming Saturday mornings (free is a much nicer proposition that an Orange Wednesday!)

POTC · 03/07/2009 13:34

If I take a big handbag I could sneak you in Goober

GreenMonkies · 03/07/2009 13:43

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 03/07/2009 14:15

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern · 03/07/2009 14:51

YoGabbaGabba I was hoping for Aberdeen too not heard yet although I was a pretty late entry.
I'm not optimistic I never get lucky
Will go and stuff my face at the continental market instead if I miss out.

Disenchanted3 · 03/07/2009 16:26

I've not heard anything either way, no confirmation or no reply to say no from wollies and like a complete idiot had told the kids

Frig.

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern · 03/07/2009 16:28

I haven't told the kids but I cannot handle the tension anymore.
Actualy I am worse than the kids I am trying not to get my hopes up because I haven't heard yet my heart leaps every time I get and email in my inbox.

Can someone please please please shoot me put me out my misery.

Disenchanted3 · 03/07/2009 16:32

I doubt we will hear anything now its 4:30.

poorbuthappy · 03/07/2009 16:33

I am in the depths of despair as well...

VinoEsmeralda · 03/07/2009 16:35

Ohh so there is still hope then? I havent heard anything either but would love to go

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern · 03/07/2009 16:36

I am trying to tell myself hlaf 4 is not that late but I did think that a while back.

I had been looking forward to this weekend too but a friend has cancelled on me tonight, ds dropped my camera and broke it and I can't afford a new one so will be relying on other people for my wedding in 3 weeks and there was some things I really wanted to be able to take my own pics of. Oh and to sound even more pathetic schools broke up today and i've only stayed here for 2 months so worrying about not seeing anyone for weeks on end.

Is it too early to open the wine yet????

MerlinsBeard · 03/07/2009 16:39

not had an email from woolies either way yet

YoGabbaGabba · 03/07/2009 16:40

Luckily never told my kids. Oh well, such is life - hope all of you who got tickets enjoy it........

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern · 03/07/2009 16:42

YoGabbaGabba we could stand outside the cinema in Aberdeen and throw things at the people who did get in look forlorn and sad and see if anyone takes pity on us

MerlinsBeard · 03/07/2009 16:45

just had my email to say i didn't make the list as the places had been allocated by the time they got my email...wel;l that is because it's now 24 hours since i sent it

oh well, glad i hadn't told the DC's. Would have been a trip of about 2 hrs each way anyway via public transport

YoGabbaGabba · 03/07/2009 16:45

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern - I like it......lol

Saucepanman · 03/07/2009 16:46

Not heard either way here- has anyone got Didsbury? Oh well, was hoping as cinema is a dear do these days, but never mind

MerlinsBeard · 03/07/2009 16:47

saucepanman - i asked for didsbury - what tie did you mail?

POTC · 03/07/2009 16:47

I've just spoken to customer services and she said that they are open until 11pm tonight so there will still be emails going out and you should get an email either way.

gscrym · 03/07/2009 16:48

I haven't had an email to tell me if I have or haven't got tickets.

YoGabbaGabba · 03/07/2009 16:49

C'mon Andy Murray - oops, wrong thread.....

tiredemma · 03/07/2009 16:49

Ineedacleaner- Ihave a digital camera (olympus) that I would gladly lend to you for the wedding (its my 'spare' camera)
