Woolworths.co.uk are offering Mumsnetters family tickets (for four people) to a special, red-carpet showing of Ice Age 3 in 3D this Saturday morning (4 July).

The London showing is full but there are still tickets for Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Castelford, Didsbury, Edinburgh, Hull, Ipswich, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Sheffield.

If you'd like one, please email your full name, address and preferred cinema to [email protected]. But get your skates on: tickets are limited and will be offered on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.

YoGabbaGabba · 03/07/2009 16:55

POTC - thanks for the info from customer services - don't know if I can hold off until 11pm to hear though. Have given up hope really - if I do by some small miracle get tickets it will be a bonus.

poorbuthappy · 03/07/2009 16:58

YogabbaGabba - i'm with you now!

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern · 03/07/2009 16:59

tiredemma · 03/07/2009 17:10

Saucepanman · 03/07/2009 17:15

MoM- after you I think so will not get any. I had no idea how I was getting there either as dh got the car tomorrow and we're not on the bus route there- looking on the bright side! You know me by the way, have namechanged for good!

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 03/07/2009 17:35

I take it if we haven't had an email then we have not been sucessful?

POTC · 03/07/2009 17:36

No elf, they had said that everyone would get an email either way

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 03/07/2009 17:38

Ooooh.
We were planning on going anyway but being a VIF would be brill.
I'm vvvvv excited about the re-release of Toy Story in Oct (in 3d) as it comes out just before DD's birthday and she lurves Toy Story. I think the second TS is due to be released the following year, and then TS3 the year afterwards.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 03/07/2009 17:44

As great an offer as it is, they really don't have any idea of family life do they? Might not know till 11pm? sorry but if people have to be up and out at 6am to get somewhere then they really need to know at least a day in advance, or is that just me?

Was very excited to go but now realising I won't be.

YoGabbaGabba · 03/07/2009 17:46

I agree TheOtherMary. Can't possibly hold off much longer with getting stuck into my bottle of wine - this tennis is making me too nervous!!!!

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern · 03/07/2009 18:05

YoGabbaGabba · 03/07/2009 18:29

I'm about an hour south of Aberdeen so don't come in too often - only for special occasions like free cinema tickets

Mamazon · 03/07/2009 18:59

has anyone else asked for Brighton?
I am mid crisis.

I got the tickets thinking my 2 were at their dads so we would take Dp's 2.

but X has now decided he wont have mine (devesated children) and so i know don't know what to do?

Im hoping that Brighton wasn't so busey and that we could squeeze them in. whats the chances do you think?

i have emailed Adam but obviously it was after 6 so he's gone home i'd imagine.

I am frantic. i can't ruin the weekend for dps children ( they've cancelled clubs and a birthday party to attend) and i can't tell my two about it in case they can't go. they've been messed about enough for one weekend.

I F ing hate my x.

sherby · 03/07/2009 19:28

oh thats a horrible situation Mamazon

could your two go somewhere else for the morning and then have a treat that afternoon/evening

or you or DP take 3 of the children and the other one goes out for a different treat (sorry don't know how old they are so might not be possible)
