Woolworths.co.uk are offering Mumsnetters family tickets (for four people) to a special, red-carpet showing of Ice Age 3 in 3D this Saturday morning (4 July).

The London showing is full but there are still tickets for Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Castelford, Didsbury, Edinburgh, Hull, Ipswich, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Sheffield.

If you'd like one, please email your full name, address and preferred cinema to [email protected]. But get your skates on: tickets are limited and will be offered on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.

MerlinsBeard · 03/07/2009 12:11

Still not heard and as far as i know, i was the first asking for disbury tickets on this thread at least.

Wnder how many people asked who are not MNetters?

katz · 03/07/2009 12:18

Hula - Need to go post office first so will be a bit later, 9.30ish i think. Great that you're staying over, will tidy playroom so there's space for the bed!! Have asked one school friend but they have plans, will see at home time today, supposed to be sports day today.

Whimsy · 03/07/2009 12:19

I requested Birmingham but haven't heard anything. My own fault though, my first email got returned as I'd typed the email address in wrong The second wasn't sent until 6:17pm

POTC · 03/07/2009 12:21

They were offered by woolworths and if you register on their site it says after 10 days you qualify for free tickets and offers so I'd guess they came here once they realised they had spare tickets, so numbers will vary at each venue.

Final list of everyone is now compiled and some serious number crunching is going on to get everyone in. Thanks to whoever responded -- apart from the really, really late people who made last night and this morning a bit funky for me!

POTC - these tickets are specially for the Woolworths.co.uk relaunch and weren't offered anywhere else (site went live a week ago).

Oh bugger, I was one of the late ones last night. I haven't told DS yet so if we don't get tickets, I'll take him to the movies for kids cheapy session tomorrow.

POTC · 03/07/2009 12:42

So does that mean those that don't have an email yet won't get tickets? Goober is still waiting and she simply has to go so that I can spy on her from afar meet her

suwoo · 03/07/2009 12:45

So, who's going to Didsbury? Dis? Anyone else?

Hulababy · 03/07/2009 12:54

What a shame about sports day Katz. M is at Brid for the day!!! Not great either.

We will probably meet you inside then. Have sent messages to O and A to see if they want to come. Seems a shame to not use our ticket allocation up.

katz · 03/07/2009 12:59

had forgotten about your DD's trip - eek! Think i might try to convince DH to take us first then post office!!! it does say to arrive early so he could drop us at 9 and do post office then off for the boys night. I'm going to ask at school later.

Hulababy · 03/07/2009 13:01

That's great Katz.

Thanks MN by the way. DD will be thrilled when I tell her tonight!

worzella · 03/07/2009 13:07
