Woolworths.co.uk are offering Mumsnetters family tickets (for four people) to a special, red-carpet showing of Ice Age 3 in 3D this Saturday morning (4 July).

The London showing is full but there are still tickets for Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Castelford, Didsbury, Edinburgh, Hull, Ipswich, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Sheffield.

If you'd like one, please email your full name, address and preferred cinema to [email protected]. But get your skates on: tickets are limited and will be offered on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.

LovelyRitaMeterMaid · 02/07/2009 14:32

Ooh - keep checking inbox. DH is very keen to go (along with DS and DD) for his birthday treat. He's only 34

clumsymum · 02/07/2009 14:37

Oh no reply here yet !!.

Perhaps I didn't ask nicely enough (thought I did )

RubberAdam · 02/07/2009 14:51

Hello Mumsnetters!

Many thanks for all your emails and sorry I haven't been able to reply to them all - rest assured there will be a more official email from Woolworths.co.uk to confirm details. Also don't worry about Royal Mail as we'll be taking names down for arrival.

We've still got room for more Mumsnetters too

Here's some fun gubbins to whet the appetite - it's all in aid of what Woolies are doing for VIFs (very important families) for the freshly relaunched Woolworths.co.uk.

  • Families will be invited 30 minutes beforehand for interactive games and entertainment in the lobby and entranceway. Each cinema will feature a red carpet, a Woolies rep and they will enter a fun interactive new Woolies world before the movie starts.
  • Depending on cinema size, we aim to have wii games, Guitar Hero, a camera with photo printer and at least one entertainer at each cinema. All lobbies will include Ice Age 3 2D artwork so we can photograph families with Â?the castÂ?.

?- Entertainers will include a magician, a living statue, a contortionist, an acrobat, a juggler, cheerleaders on rollerskates and football trick whizzes. Mixed in with interactive games, technology treats and flashing cameras this will be an exciting experience for everyone!

  • As each guest leaves, they will be given a Woolworths.co.uk goody bag packed with presents.
  • at some cinemas there may be celebrity VIFs for all to mingle with at each cinema!

Many thanks,

Ad

Will we all have to wear our MN names on badges like a school reunion?

Or perhaps dress appropriately. I for example could come as a growling llama?

Or have Other Rival websites also been given tickets?

How soon do you find out if youve got tickets?

RubberAdam · 02/07/2009 15:28

Mosschops - either later on today or early tomorrow.

We still have lots of room for your responses

Oh you guys going to the same cinemas should totally say hello! (or wear Mumsnet handle badges ;))
