Woolworths.co.uk are offering Mumsnetters family tickets (for four people) to a special, red-carpet showing of Ice Age 3 in 3D this Saturday morning (4 July).

The London showing is full but there are still tickets for Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Castelford, Didsbury, Edinburgh, Hull, Ipswich, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Sheffield.

If you'd like one, please email your full name, address and preferred cinema to [email protected]. But get your skates on: tickets are limited and will be offered on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.

I'll be 1 walking around cardiff with the twins (trying not to shop cos we are skint) whilst daddy and dd1 gets to see it...

POTC · 02/07/2009 22:05

can't you take them too? It was asked earlier on and said that if extra tots were on laps that would be fine, and there may be extra seats available anyway for families with more children (there will presumeably be families with less than 4 after all)

KingCanuteIAm · 02/07/2009 22:05

Lol, so how many of you will be wearing boden, how many wearing MN T'Shirts and how many will be in full face balaclavas?

PlumBumMum · 02/07/2009 22:08

If you register on the woolworths website you can be a VIF, Very Important Family and can enter for free cinema tickets, 10 days after registering

poorbuthappy · 02/07/2009 22:09

Nice thought, but with a twin each (7 months) and our attention diverted, dd1 would be able to run riot and probably ruin it for everyone else!
TBH I wouldn't mind if dd1 and daddy had a nice few hours on their own as she's had it hard for the last few months...

GlastonburyGoddess · 02/07/2009 22:23

hey, we'll be in cardiff too!

MrsMcCluskey · 02/07/2009 22:35

is cineworld Cardiff the city one or the bay?

snigger · 02/07/2009 22:41

I'll be the one in Aberdeen with the gruff looking beardy scruff who falls asleep before the film starts.

I will then be found in the foyer screeching "Yes, they went during the film, but they need again".

ronshar · 02/07/2009 22:49

I have just seen this thread. I have emailed. So far it looks like no one from Brighton is here.
Please Adam can I have tickets.

katz · 02/07/2009 23:30

Hula- I emailed before 6 but haven't heard anything. Sure dd1 would love to come if we don't get any .thanks

cornsilk · 02/07/2009 23:47

I always miss threads like this. Please Adam can I have some for Didsbury?

muggglewump · 03/07/2009 00:04

buy anything?
I was hoping we'd be getting freebies to take in?
Surely I don't have to take sweets and frootshoots water to a red carpet film?
In my head we're meeting all the Scottish slebs.
Y'know, Ewan McGregor and, erm all the other one.

Oh and I am a shusher. I went to HSM live (Mugggle relives the horror) and I shushed at that.
If they can't be quiet, at least take them a gag

Saucepanman · 03/07/2009 00:18

Am sure Adam has gone to bed now to dream of hundreds of emails Hope you got mine in time!

LovelyRitaMeterMaid · 03/07/2009 08:16

My DH will be there with DS and DD (as I will be on an aeroplane going to Germany).

Hulababy · 03/07/2009 08:25

Ah, okay Katz. Maybe we will both be lucky enough to get some and can head over together. Fingers crossed.

Not had an email from Woolies yet though, so who knows.
