Woolworths.co.uk are offering Mumsnetters family tickets (for four people) to a special, red-carpet showing of Ice Age 3 in 3D this Saturday morning (4 July).

The London showing is full but there are still tickets for Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Castelford, Didsbury, Edinburgh, Hull, Ipswich, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Sheffield.

If you'd like one, please email your full name, address and preferred cinema to [email protected]. But get your skates on: tickets are limited and will be offered on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.

Many thanks for sorting this RubberAdam and MN. What a great treat.

Mamazon · 03/07/2009 19:34

the boys are both 8 the girls are 4 + 5

i've figured that if all else fails Dp and his will see the premiere, i will take my two to the movies for juniors showing of Bolt. i don;t think we've seen it yet so i am hoping they wont be too disapointed, and then a promise of a bit of playtime at the beach.

I am just praying that if i threaten to cry with the stress of it all they'll take pity and let us all in.

is it very bad of me to hope that a few people catch chicken pox or swine flu during the night and don't turn up?

dazzledbypoundsigns · 03/07/2009 19:38

i have still not heard anything.

i take it by now it means we are not going?

Disenchanted3 · 03/07/2009 19:40

Its a bit bad of them isn't it?

I mean its a lovely thing to do, but seems a bit unorganised?

Abit crap to keep everyone waiting too.

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern · 03/07/2009 19:46

I know, Adam said at about half 1 that the numbers were sorted into who wants where even if the did a mass mail out for those not going at least we'd know.

Don't think so MoM, think I have only met you in KK5

Saucepanman · 03/07/2009 20:51

Oh- I have had no email, yes or no.

ronshar · 03/07/2009 20:55

Mamazon. I asked for Brighton. I dont think I can go but havent heard either way yet. If I cant go you are more than welcome to my tickets.
I shall keep checking for you.

poorbuthappy · 03/07/2009 20:56

In my infinite wisdom I have just registered with woolies online for the VIF thingy...and a confirmation email will be sent...so I'll get all excited when I see it hoping to have tickets, having completely forgotten that I've registered with them... isn't it awful when you know you are going to be dippy??

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 03/07/2009 21:36

TBh I registered with the VIF thing about 2 weeks ago (or when the news about Woolies.co.uk coming back online came out) and still havent' had a conf for that, had forgotten till I read your post there poorbuthappy.

Dis I agree, lovely ting to offer, but very disorganised and a lot of disappointed people

I can't register for VIF. Every time I click on it it freezes my IE and restarts.

No hardly anyone did and unless there are heaps of people that haven't posted 1 maybe 2 people got tickets to Aberdeen.

ANd like I said earlier how hard would it have been to do a mass mail to those us that didn't get.
