psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 20:53

I am here....not going on that thread tho, as if it is real, I am not going to endanger the OP IYGWIM.

and if it isnt; real, then someone out there does go thru it, and if they find that thread, I don;t want them seeing troll accusations as then a genuine person might run scared of MN.

Insanitybecomesme · 08/06/2009 20:53

junglist1 good luck with your plans everyone deserves to be safe and happy.

GossipMonger · 08/06/2009 20:54

AnyFucker · 08/06/2009 20:55

junglist1, you have support here

and you offer support where you can from your own unique viewpoint

as I have said before, keep planning, keep your head together, you can do it

you know you have to

GossipMonger · 08/06/2009 20:56

am emailing you now!!

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 21:00

junglist, don;t ever feel you can't ask for support. you can!!

see, this is why trolls are so damaging....makes genuine MNers scared to ask for much needed support!

junglist1 · 08/06/2009 21:01

Thanks ladies very soon I'll be posting my free, single and happy thread!

TrillianAstra · 08/06/2009 21:09

Btw I didn't confirm that wine is bad for wounds. I have no idea. DP and I can think of no scientific reason why alcohol would make you bleed more.

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 21:10

fantastic

Meglet · 08/06/2009 21:10

wishing you all the best junglist . i've noticed your posts in the past and am glad you are planning a better future.

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 21:10

trillian, you couldn;t have said that earlier

still, more for later in the week

TrillianAstra · 08/06/2009 21:14

Just managed to talk about it with DP - he often remembers things that I don't and didn't want to say anything unless I was sure (being a Doctor and everything). They sounded like they had reasons. Well, MoM did anyway, Flame was just backing her up.

Poledra · 08/06/2009 21:16

Weeellll, Trillian, you could argue that alcohol is a vasodilator => increased blood flow to the capillaries => increased bleeding perhaps??

(Sorry, psycho, promise I won't tell psychodad . And I am making it up as I go along.....)

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 21:17

tis ok, I am not drinking..........want some, but then, need to feel less sick to be able to enjoy it

Jux · 08/06/2009 21:20

It was the idea of someone being locked in which spurred me to action. The change did happen fast, but I thought if she were a regular she might have been primed for action anyway. What I did wonder about was the mention of dcs at the beginning which became one ds a bit later. That always puzzled me.

I didn't really have anything to do with cvq so wouldn't recognise her in a month of Sundays. Do you really think it's her? I've come to the end of my contribution to that thread anyway.

TrillianAstra · 08/06/2009 21:23

It's not currently bleeding, so I don't think that'll have much effect, if any.

Large amounts of alcohol in your body might increase how much you bled if you fell over and grazed your knee, for example (as well as making it more likely that you will fall over and graze your knee), but that's at the time that you are bleeding.

Lizzylou · 08/06/2009 21:26

Jux, I noticed the DC's to DS change too.

As I say, it is far easier to get suspicious when you read the entire thread and are not answering in "real time" or summat.

If she is genuine, I hope that she is safe, if not I despair tbh.

oneforward20back · 08/06/2009 21:32

Am fairly new to msnet and wanted to ask what is a troll and CAT? propably simple and basic but confused.
Confused about why people want to state real id as isn't that the bonus of here - help with out id so you feel safer?

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 21:33

nope, not bleeding at this very moment, but it keeps starting on and off during the day

tis my fault, tis the driving that has been pulling on the tight stitches I think

still, bedrest tomorrow, hopefully start healing properly

MollieO · 08/06/2009 21:37

Whenever I've reported threads they seem to be deleted pretty quickly, even in the middle of the night.

I read that thread and did think it was a bit odd to say the least. I really don't get what someone is out to gain by doing something like that.

NeedaNewName · 08/06/2009 21:43

Had me going too though I did just say to DH not sure if I want her to be a troll (sick) or real (terrible).

Also didn't want to say anything if she was a troll that might upset any Mnetter out there who is genuinely going through DV.

sb6699 · 08/06/2009 21:47

Aaah feck - I posted on that thread. the subject is so close to home I cant ignore these threads.

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 21:50

but mollie, we arenlt reporting the thread as such, more that we have suspiscions that the OP might be a troll of old who caused a lot of damage last year.

no, the thread as it stands is not wrong........in fact, if genuine, is amazing in the support and advice, so there is no reason to delete. deleting would only be recommended really if it were abusive to someone on mumsnet, or trolling in the way the ADHD one was this morning.

MerlinsBeard · 08/06/2009 21:51

I reported the whole thread and asked MN to put a stop to it actually. I refuse to stand by and watch MNetters that i like get hurt by a troll in this way
