apart from emailing MNHQ?

OP posts:
Unicornvomit · 08/06/2009 17:48

can you say which thread?

you can ask MNHQ to keep an eye on it or investigate

MerlinsBeard · 08/06/2009 17:49

have mailed MNHQ too with concerns.

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 17:50

FWIW, as one of the people who got really badly burnt last time by CvQ, I do think it is her.

I have been looking out for her since she got banned last year (and I do know she did, MNHQ told me), but then hugharssssssse gets banned regularly and can et round it, so I was waiting, and dreading, but hoping like hell she didn;t work it out.

this one I do have strong feelings about.

now, given, I might just be very suspicious, and I migth be worng, and if so, I will hold up my hands and say sorry, and give support if I felt I could (altho I don;t as have never been where this perosn is claiming she is), but........

it does need watching

Unicornvomit · 08/06/2009 17:52

for the back up

have dusted off my cloak, but I am not wanting to go on to the thread and inflame things TBH.

you are more up front than me tho.......I started a thread warning people to be on the look out, but there were two very obvious ones this morning anyway so could do it without being obvious

FabulousBakerGirl · 08/06/2009 17:57

I have emailed MNHQ again and made it clear my opinions.

OP posts:
MerlinsBeard · 08/06/2009 17:57

had a reply from MNHQ saying they will look into it

Hassled · 08/06/2009 17:57

I'm bloody rubbish at this sort of thing but I have to say I'm pretty sure I know which thread you're talking about and was a bit dubious myself. It is the drip, drip thing that's a bit odd - it just doesn't read right. I'll probably burn in hell for even thinking it. I hope we're all wrong, but also hope we're right - better a troll than someone really in that state.

FabulousBakerGirl · 08/06/2009 17:58

i asked immediateoy but the poster ignored me.

nothing from mnhq to me.

OP posts:
Unicornvomit · 08/06/2009 17:59

ok, thanks, i tend to steer clear of getting involved in DV threads as thank god, no RL experience of it and i know there are some posters who are brill at giving the right practical and emotional advice. i had a brief look at the thread, but nothing more

if you are thinking it is CvQ back or another troll, then definitely needs sorting out

MerlinsBeard · 08/06/2009 17:59

i know FBG - i actually have the thread hidden but someone else linked it to me. Had hidden the thread because of possible trolling, hadn't occured to me it could be her.

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 18:00

dinner time......DH cooked bless him. I don;t thik he like me bleeding everywhere....

EachPeachPearMum · 08/06/2009 19:36

weird- I thought this was a troll last night when I read it... but I would never call troll on something so serious because of the help others may receive from the discussion raised.
I just wish people would troll in amusing ways, not ways which hurt other mners or bring up bad memories for them

JackBauer · 08/06/2009 19:53

Oh I am so glad it's not just me being suspicious IYSWIM, I haven't posted on that thread as it seemed all wrong, mainly as someone like that would not have free internet access.
I am torn between hoping I am wrong and hoping I am right and it isn't true.
People are handing over personal emails far too easily though at the moment on MN. I think there needs to be more warning on that.

Lizzylou · 08/06/2009 20:00

I am so pleased that others thought this too, I thought I was just being an overly suspicious cow. I just ignored it.
I think it is easier to realise when you read an almost entire thread rather than when you are there in the moment as it were.
Not pleased if it is an old troll back though.

BitOfFun · 08/06/2009 20:00

True. I did the same as Reality, posted in a way I thought would be useful if it were genuine then fecked off. I'm wondering if I should withdraw my email now though.

nannyogg · 08/06/2009 20:02

I thought this too...it just isn't ringing true for me, and the promise of revealing her true ID thing made me think too. I don't know why....

Not sure what else can be done apart from emailing HQ though...

FabulousBakerGirl · 08/06/2009 20:05

I have emailed mnhq but have had no answer.

OP posts:
Insanitybecomesme · 08/06/2009 20:07

I have seen the thread and also thought it was cvq (tis jes74 here but have had a name change) the posting style is very similar as is the use of smilies and disapearing then adding comments. I really hope its not as she did lots of damage last time.

callalilies · 08/06/2009 20:07

I thought it could be cvq. Have read through the thread, and the poster is saying she is a regular but namechanged, which presumably will be very easy for MNHQ to verify.
